The police need to answer as to why they let him drive away - had they not they could have ended this hours ago. The CHP are pros. The cops are a joke at this point.

Those anchors missed the CHP officer dispersing OC spray into the vehicle after pulling the sheet away. Police procedure missed the opportunity, when the one officer had the driver distracted, another small team could have approached the rear and dispersed tear gas through the rear glass and expedited the standoff.
I think that LAPD want public to stand up & speak up to Democrat leaders who tied up law enforcement officers with so many rules, regulations for safety issues 😡

So the guy is in a gurney being restrained and the situation is defused... but still no concern for drivers stuck on the road??? Move police cars and let people drive ahead! You only need to occupy one lane and the rest can be used. Police are so very insensitive to drivers in general!

The tactics and crossfire on the final approach was awful to watch. Not taking away from the brave CHP Officers for putting their lives on the line to bring people to justice. But man, please get these guys some appropriate training/tactics or call in a team that will do it right.

Watching this live was so painful because it took much too long to apprehend this guy. Here in Houston, a man stole a big rig truck and the cops threw spikes down to stop him. They wasted no time in getting a robot in to pull the doors off the rig and arrest the guy. That's what CA would have done.

What a waste of police resources too many police and when they have him apprehended they a standing around having a chit chat in stead of moving their vehicles and reopening at least one lane of freeway traffic that has built up. This is poor management of police resources and abuse of police powers.
