as someone who is a born and bred Marylander, i actually grew up in a town where the Susquehanna River meets the Chesapeake about 30 minutes north of the city. I moved to Baltimore in my late 20s, your video truly made me emotional. so often our city is only shown in a negative light when there is so much American history, passion and beauty all throughout it as well as very friendly people. your video captures the side of the city us locals and Marylanders see. thank you! ❤️💛🖤

Thank you for sharing this wonderful feedback. Media loves latching on to one bad neighborhood or event and then painting a whole city in a negative light just to get views. Baltimore is one of my favorite cities and doesn't deserve the bad press

Great video! It's refreshing to see a positive view of Baltimore. I've lived in the Baltimore metro area my entire life (six decades plus). It's nice to hear how interesting the city can be for visitors. Thanks.

Regrettably, the media portrays Baltimore as a terrible place. I am delightfully surprised with what your video shows me to the contrary.😃

The media is not kind to larger cities. One or two bad neighborhoods in areas that have hundreds sets up the reputation of the whole place.

Once again (for the last time, i think) you are knocking it out of the park... I think you hit the Camden Yards (b&o) Warehouse! ... So basically Baltimore had its own minute-men on land and on the sea had pirates, and working together they knocked the British off the Eastern Seaboard!!! Never knew that!

Don’t let the stuff people tell you scare you away from Baltimore. As a whole it’s actually pretty safe. And its industrial history and American history is so extremely rich

Another place with a bad rep showed as a normal, beautiful place, full of history, worth visiting! I really do not understand how bad rep a city can get. I mean you should be able to tell that A PART of a city is to ba avoided and not portraying the entire town as a hell on earth. I always wanted to visid Baltimore and I'll definetly do when I have a chance!

The problem with many of these cities is the one or two bad neighborhoods becomes the stigma for the whole city. Baltimore is a great example, 200+ neighborhoods and the bad area makes it a bad city. It's almost the same story for all mega-cities

Won't be amazing for much longer. Developers are planning to tear it down to put up high rise apartments or condos. It will be devastating.

That's a shame and heartbreaking. The neighborhood I grew up in Queens, NY was mostly old homes that began a transformation during the 2000s into generic Condo's and apartments. Really took away the soul of the area.
