Since we have both in our house- I tried to see if there was a major difference. Some Lutron switches are thicker where they attach to the box, and others are thin. For the single-opening cover plates- both look good. Lutron looks better for multiple switch cover plates because it is more forgiving. If the walls and electrical device installation were perfect, then Leviton would have a cleaner potential look. It really comes down to personal preference and the skill of the installer. The main reason I prefer screwless switch covers is that they are easier to clean, and the screws won't collect dirt from hands over time. Plus, they look more sophisticated in areas with nicer finishes, such as bathrooms and kitchens. I use regular cover plates for outlets unless our clients want the upgrade.
Maybe- however I looked at lots of switches that I had and they all look different so even within the same brand different models can install differently.
You mentioned metal base screwless plates in the video that you liked even better, but didn't mention any reference or brand. Can you give an example of a metal base screw less plate that you like? I''ve been searching on the internet but not finding metal base wall plates yet.

I'm curious if Leviton switches work better with the Leviton plates, and same for Lutron switches with Lutron plates?

Legrand has some good options. They are not available in big box stores as far I know though but they do have a nice clean look.
The Enerlites are very good too.
I don't mind the exposed screws, especially when I'm using a strong metal face plate.
For industrial uses- that makes sense
