- One of my favorite artists in music of the 60's era is Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons. My father taught me about their music and they became a great influence for me. I decided to share this concert because it's found only in VHS format. I had to buy it and decided to transfer it and upload it to my channel. My only interest is to share their music and Legacy. Enjoy!

I an 80 and isolating. Their music meant everything to me when I was dating my future husband, their song, Can't take my eyes off of you became "our song". My husband has been gone from me a long time but with their music, I can remember our love and what their music meant to us.
I AM SORRY FOR YOU AND I AM , A WIDOW TOO AND MY LATE HUBBY HAD TOOK ME 5 TIMES TO SEE THIS WONDERFUL MAN WAY BACK IN EARLY 1970 WHEN WE GOT MARRIED AND I LIKE THEM IN THE 1960s TOO SO I KNOW WHAT YOU TALKING ABOUT AND KEEP UP ALL YOU CAN DO AS I TOO... GOD BLESS YOU
I am in my 70s and am fortunate enough to still have my husband of 52 years (even though he sometimes drives me mad), we are also isolating in the UK but Frankie Valley and the Four Seasons keep us going x
Sorry for your loss, I’ve learned so much about this amazing group and I was definitely born in the wrong era
GRiZZlY Ah, the 4 Seasons, one of the first self contained bands of American origin to have three number one singles in a row and lets not forget the 60 plus singles that made the Billboard Chart. 40 top 40 hits, 20 top ten hits and 7 number one singles. The only group of the rock era to score a number one record before, during and after the Beatles. Frankie VAlli and the 4 Seasons are and always will be my favorite band.
Named my daughter DAWN in 1970. She'll be 50 in November
I love this band as a teen and I still love it In 2019. How many of you are left that are still Frankie Valli fans in 2019?
I am one of his biggest fans since 1973 and have been following him and his band ever since. To this day I still collect everything I can find, especially the early sixties autographed items that are pretty pricey.
How could I not like Frankie? I was born and raised in Newark. Live in Florida now. Saw him just a few years ago, he still sounds great, and his backup singers (The 4 Seasons) were terrific.
I love them.. no other band could ever be like the four seasons. I was born in 1962 so that telling you my age lol.. Frankie is still rocking it on tour... gotta love him 💛💖💟😙
I used to listen to Frankie Valli when I was in High School (1960's). When I delivered newspapers I would tape my 2 transistor radio to my bike and off I would go delivering my newspapers while singing to Frankie. Great songs and awesome melodies that you can actually whistle or hum. :)
@@nicholascostantino9591 and understand the words.. nothing like the stuff that's on the radio now day's.
He was 48 here. Going to be 90 in 2 months. I love Frankie. People complain that he might lip synch. I don't care. He sang for us for 70 years. Id still go see him
If anyone deserves to use backing tracks it’s Frankie.
The real old legends (that we are lucky to even still have around) that put in the work back before technology took over are the only folks I let it slide when they use autotune or backing tracks live.
There is no "might" he does but that's fine with me at his age..he is an icon
Auto tune isn't the issue. All his vocals in the last few decades have been lip synced. But hey, it's your time and your money and you can spend them how you choose. 😏
Watch the latest video, he looks dead. Its over
@MrKenstar2 it's probably been over for years. At this point if it keeps him going and he's happy. I'm happy to go see him.
I was born in 1975 and love listening to his songs my parents always listened to his music and still do i grew up listening to Frankie Avalon my dad danced my eyes adore you with my daughter for her sweet 16
Just love his shows brings back lot of good memories from the past❤l am 73 now great shows l still rock
From Australia great saw his show he has still got it at the age of ninety l am in my 70 ❤❤❤❤❤
Love this group. I'm 72 years young.
He’s the best. New Brunswick, New Jersey 22 old he was best then and still is , four seasons. I am 80 years old now. Thank you so much for down loading. I am home bound and this was such a blessing and pick up for me and so many wonderful memories. This is music. Just can’t connect with today’s music.
you are not alone....70, and Isolating in Manitoba Canada.
Me neither Wanda. I’m trying to find out where I can purchase the DVD of this concert. Any suggestions? Thank you 😊
Same as you Judith in the UK 😀
I bought this on DVD a few years back, along with the 1992 concert they did in Atlantic City for their 30th anniversary. It was the latter concert that helped me discover Valli & the Seasons & i've been a huge fan ever since.
I’m in Covid19 lockdown at the moment listening to Frankie!! Class!!
Mark Lynch Not fully in lockdown here however I’ve been wistfully and heart achingly listening to The Four Seasons for a couple of weeks now and longing for those days of my boyhood in the early to mid sixties remembering how great it was and now I’m in my mid sixties wishing I could turn back time while dealing with these disastrous days. Music heals the soul though and that’s how we can make it through.
Lockdown made my life more of Hell. If no one wore masks or stayed home from work like bums there never would have been a communist Lockdown.
I was in Vietnam when they were at the top of the Musical charts. They got me through 2 tours to Vietnam and I am 73 and they are by far the best group I’ve ever heard and he still is going strong…. 🤟✝️🙏🙏🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸💯
Me, too... and I am your age Timothy. The Mekong Delta was a b**ch, but The Four Seasons, The Commodores, The Animals, The Temptations and The Supremes got us "Brown Water Rats" through it without losing our minds.
Thank you for your service
I liked Frankie too,but I liked Credence Clearwater Revival and the Animals better.
Have loved the 4 Seasons ever since they became popular...love, love FRANKIE VALLI!!!! THE music is still FANTASTIC!!!!
28:40 is no one gonna talk about how awesome these harmonies sound?
I saw them in concert just a couple of years ago. Frankie Valli, age 83, stood and sang for 2 hours. it was incredible. Even as a little girl, I wanted to see him in concert- it took nearly 60 years, but I did it.
👏👏👏🇬🇧
So happy for you!!! I'm jealous.
David you have a funny name for a girl
He stood for 2 hours but didn't sing a note.its all lypesynced.
@@Michael-ut1lg says a 20 something who DON'T KNOW SHIT
Will never get tired of Frankie Valli forever songs with Four Seasons. Chicago my adopted city.❤️
Aside from it being so well written and performed it was always pretty clear to me that the reason Jersey Boys was such a phenomenal success was because both their original fans, the parents of those fans, and the grandchildren of those parents all had their joy buds rung loudly by their great songs. I'm betting I'll love the Seasons music even in the hereafter!
grew up with 4 seasons, can you imagine he'd resurge 40 years later as he did
Re-surge??? He never left.
Exactly!
He did? He "resurged"? I always thought he was still surging.
I was given tix to see him in the 90’s. I was never a fan or couldn’t tell you his music. After all I was a Led Zep, Jethro Tull, Pink Floyd, Yes, Police etc fan. Seen all but Led Zeppelin live.
Frankie Vallie was far and away my favorite concert experience. By the time he was done it felt like he was in your living room and it was just you, him, and a few friends even though the place held about 10,000 people.
His music was catchy, but he kept telling stories that led you from one song to the next.
Never saw anything like that before or since.
Surprised, pleasantly so.
I haven’t sought his music out much since, But this video is a great reminder.
Thanks for posting.
I love The Four Seasons and Frankie Call I I grew up in the fifties. They are timeless
What a classic! That crowd got a treat of a lifetime that night in 1982, and here we are still enjoying!
This was the music of my youth.
April 2020.... Four Seasons a national treasure.. truly one of the BEST in the music BIZ..... few can compare !!!!!!!!
Without a doubt the best group of the pre-British Invasion and continued their success all
through the 60's.
November 2020.
only 4 others can compare.
@@jerrybrownell3633 EVEN BETTER, THAN THE BEATTLES.
I have just watched the movie "Jersey Boys" and I can't ever have enough of their songs! Their songs and their style never get old! I wish we had such singers these days! I may be old now, but their songs are immortal...a classic!
The stage show is even better!
I love Jersey Boys! I saw them on stage and the movie. Spectacular reproduction of the original 4 Seasons. John Lyode Wright is a clone of Valli.
Love Frankie Valli been a fan since the age of 4 I I’m 57 years old and still love ❤️ him
Since I was a teenager in 1963 till now (september 2020) I always appreciate the perfomance of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons. The best group of rock of all the time.....Great..!!!!
I was born in 1953 so I grew up on the 60's music. I still love the music and it makes me feel like a teenager even today when I listen to it now. BTW when I go to the fitness club I start with 30 pull ups and the younger guys are amazed that I can do more than them. It's great that Frankie is not allowing age to stop him. Thank you for sharing this.
dwsherm1 Born in 56 here and I hear ya all the way. The sixties were quite special in the way of music.
@@brianherrington7226 I suppose most of us who grew up in that era feel the same. People seem to have a special attachment to the music they grew up with.
dwsherm1 And with its faults and turbulence it had I still feel the sixties and seventies that the human heart and value system were in far better shape than they are these days and has been for at least the last 30 years.
@@brianherrington7226 Yes, I agree, but many of our parents thought ours was the devils music. haha.
dwsherm1 By the eighties my parents agreed that it was tame compared to what followed. My parents damn near shit themselves when they saw the likes of Marilyn Manson lol.
Fabulous 4 Seasons ahead of their time musically in the 1960's
One of the few pre-British Invasion bands to have continued success from 1964-1969.
They had 22 top 40 hits and 4 # 1 singles. Their first 3 singles( Sherry/ Big Girls Don't Cry and Walk Like A Man) all went to #1 on the Vee Jay Record Label and Rag Doll was #1 when they switched to Phillips Records in 1964.
👏👏👏As someone from the UK 🇬🇧
I actually think they were very much OF the time musically, whereas The Beatles, The Beach Boys and Dylan were the ones redefining the boundaries. The Four Seasons need no excuses though, a serious class act that weathered the storm during an ever-changing popular music soundscape
Still love Frankie!!! I must have seen him over 100 times live!! He still comes to Connecticut every year for a concert! Just seen him a couple of months ago! Much older but is still great!!! Even my daughters in their early 30's go to the shows!
Frankle is good and l wont to meet him
@@margaretdonald6933 If you want to see him and you live in Connecticut, depending on this virus , he is supposed to be at Mohegan Sun on May 22.
That's awesome, I have a few artists/bands that I see every time they come near me, but 100 times is incredible. I just hope I get the chance to see him before he retires or passes on from this life. I grew up (36 now) with the oldies station on in my parents old Cadillac. He's in my top 3 faves of the era.
Oh my goodness I am so envious of you , I live in the UK , would love to be there
Love you Frankie keep going your music still moves me at 76 love it
I think Frankie does a fabulous job on " Sunday Kind of Love".His voice sounds beautiful when he does this song.
I became a great fan after watching The Jersey Boys. I felt a connection to Frankie Valli when I found out he lost a child as I have also. I love this band. Thank you for sharing this concert.
Still got the chops, you can tell he is a great showman who loves the crowd.
Wonderful music of happier days !
Thanks for this great concert. The 4 Seasons were my favorite band before the Beatles. Frankie’s Falsetto is so strong and so inimitable. Their Music has and will stand the test of time. Equal to the Beatles and Beach Boys as the top 3 groups of all time.
I just was at a Frankie Valli concert in Dayton, Ohio, and Frankie is 87 years old and was magical 💜💜💜
Always been a big fan of the Four Seasons going all the way back to 1962. Love them truly ❤️
I HAVE ALWAYS LOVED THE SOUND AND SONGS BY FRANKIE VALLI AND THE FOUR SEASONS. GREAT MUSIC THAT WILL NO DOUBT GO ON INTO THE NEXT GENERATIONS. LOVE TO ALL, SYLVIA! - FL 3/18/2020
I am 73 and grew up in a suburb of Philadelphia. The Jersey Boys used to come there to perform and my parents also traveled to Atlantic City where they also performed. Great memories.
For the last week or two, I have been watching all of Frankies concerts & videos to an extreme. I feel like im in such a state of excitement, like its thrilling to see him perform all of these songs. This concert was superb. He even did a little of some of their hits that he usually leaves out, like one if my favorites, called "Candy Girl". I used to go nuts over this song as a teenager and to this day still . He was wonderful in this.❤🍬🍬🍭🍭🍭That little doo op segement was fabulous.
Im wondering if that fellow at the keyboard , could be a young Robby Robinson?
Your a little, " Rag Doll"...
Have always loved Frankie and the Four Seasons!
Loved Frankie Valli and four seasons since the 60s , Never did I dream I would ever see him ! I saw him here in Dublin 2017 I will never forget that great concert , long live Frankie Valli, ☘️💚☘️
I am so envious!
Cynthia. , I was just lucky to get to see Frankie Valli , but it was a great concert, and he is so charming, Great memories!! Best wishes! ☘️☘️
Dublin and Wichita the same year. The man certainly gets around!
The voice of a generation still rockin' in his 80's.....
Can't believe it. Frankie, Tommy is 91, and gaudio is in his late 70s. So cool how they are around to see their music beloved by everyone. When I the car as a kid whenever four seasons came on the radio we used to get excited. My dad would always sing all the songs.
Loving It..Loving It sooooo Much. Was a #1 Fan in 1962 at 16yrs.old, He still has me Moving and Grooving. God Bless Frankie & FourSeasons. Thank You
.
I was a sophomore in HS when the started in 1962 and danced to so many of their songs and luckily got to see them live. Also saw Jersey Boys on Broadway the year it opened in late Fall 2005. I've been watching all their youtube vids.
I was only 3 in 62' but I grew up with their mUsic and still Love it!!!.
My first concert back in the 70s with Jay and the Americans at MSG!! The best time ever!! I still have the black scarf Frankie wore around his neck!! 💖
My twin brother and I have been fans our whole lives. We saw Jan & Dean at the fair in Peoria, IL back in 1985, but didn't know until that night that Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons were there the next night. We were devastated when our mother wouldn't let us go. We finally got to see him on December 17, 2016 in Durant, OK when I surprised my brother with tickets for our birthday. Nothing compares to seeing Frankie sing his hits on the night of my birthday. We were 3 rows back in the center, and got to go to the edge of the stage to shake Frankie's hand on his way off stage.
Beautiful story
So lucky & blessed to shake his hand. I'd never wash it again!!! Lol
This '82 show:
AS GOOD AS ANY LIVE F.VALLI & FOUR SEASONS AVAILABLE ON LINE.
---All the hits!!..I mean all the hits, big and small..even if its a verse and a half for some.
Frankie and Seasons' voices and full band ensemble are in great form...and the crowd..mint too.
Close your eyes like I did listening front to back.
Bravo Frankie and gang...and as always thank you mr gaudio and mr crewe
Yolanda Italian born n raised seeing has brought tears to my eyes he will forever an icon I will turn 70 this year hope to see him
Thanks a lot. After watching the film "THe Jersey Boys", I cannot stop listening to
their music!
I’m so glad but the stage show is even better! Never mind the real thing , I’m lucky enough to have been born in the 59
Sorry carmen, hit the wrong button it was meant to read , I was born in 1950 so was lucky enough to see them from the beginning 😍
It does not matter. Lucky you. I was born in 1960 and in Spain, but their music has always accompanied me without having ever seen them on stage.
I’m so glad that their music is still appreciated . Hope you are safe and well in Spain x
THANK YOU FRANKIE & THE SEASONS 💥💯❤️❤️💜💜💙💙 thanks Frankie for not forgetting how much you are loved and your beautiful voice will never fade! You are LOVED!!!!! I listen to your music all the time in ‘2020’
I saw Frankie Valli in Phoenix, Az. at the time of "Jersey Boys". It was an unforgettable time for me!

My wife and I grew up listening to the Four Seasons. We are both in our late seventies now and still enjoy their music.
Love Frankie Valli! Saw him 2 years ago in concert in Atlantic City. Awesome show!! Going to see him again tomorrow night again in AC! Can't wait!!
I love their music. It's timeless!
I loved the original 4 of Frankie, Bob, Nicky, and Tommy, when I was growing up in the 50's and 60's. Hard to believe Frankie is 86, Nicky is 91, Tommy would have been 93 ( he passed in 2000), and Bob is 77 what great songs he and Bob Crew wrote some of the best songs ever.
No. Tommy passed only a few days ago from covid 19
Nick died in 2000... Bob Crewe in 2014.
Thank You for sharing this...His music made the 60;s so great. I can't believe he's going on 86 and doing great...
These were the glory years of music!
His music made every decade great!!!
Tears running down my eyes! Miss you brother Alan!

Wonderful concert of Frankie Valli, "Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons In Concert" first ever aired as part of KPBS' Summervision Membership Campaign, Circa Friday August 23rd, 1985!! TV Worth Watching and TV Worth Paying For!!
I can't believe that it will be a 60 year milestone for Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons in 2022! I was born in 1967... music of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons was very popular...still and always will be!
In the early 70’s you could hear these songs (and the Supremes) blasting through our college dorm. Every breakup and any other situation was gotten through by listening and singing along with this music. Brings back so many good memories. God bless them.
Awesome Memories Love This ❤️ Music....
