My grandpa is 85 years old and in his youth days he was energetic, looking to repair things from the house. Nowadays he looks to repair things from his house, takes the ladder to go up for the roof even he fell one time he decides to keep doing it. There are elders who really want to keep moving. It's impressive how Valli is standing there for a long time.
All you a$$holes who complain that a 90 year old icon is lip syncing can look at most Super Bowl halftime shows. Piped in music with nothing but lip syncing. And these so called entertainers are barely one third his age. Frankie V loves to entertain. Let him enjoy the rest of his life on his terms. You don't like it, don't go to his shows. Show the legend the respect he has so justly deserves.
My husband and I were at this concert and we had the same thoughts about him lip syncing. He could hardly talk, lift the mic or move his arms to the beat of the music. I grew up listening to Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons and if I am to be honest I was saddened by what I saw. I understand that Mr Valli probably loves performing and finds it difficult to stop but I think it's time to call it a day. Unfortunately the last memory I have of that incredibly talented man is not a good one. I thank you for sharing your talents with us through the 60's and 70's but I think at 90 it's time to call it a day and enjoy what you have worked so hard for ❤

When Frankie speaks between songs, he holds the mic in front of his mouth and his lips clearly enunciate the words. When he "sings", he holds the mic in front of his chest and his lips barely move.
The mic has a thumb switch to dump the vocal track and allow him to speak. He's miming to a performance track (presumably from his later years) that's been digitally processed - you can hear by how synthetic it is. Seems like a con to me.

Ohh he is singing but of course it's an older recording of him singing that was recorded from around the early to mid 2000s I'd assume. Yeah I agree he looks motionless though in how he stands there on stage for about 85% of the show and how he's clearly not singing and no longer can make the effort of looking like he's somewhat singing.
I enjoyed this so much. Sound was perfect. Stage presence was, in my opinion, wonderful!. I received a gift to go to the Frankie Valie in Detroit Mi. concert and n October 13th 2024 in Detroit. We couldn't be there due to a respiratory illness of our youngest grandson, we couldn't make a. I'm 66. I remember this music from my sisters
Initially, I was disappointed that I wasn't able to see Frankie at Radio City back in March. But, after seeing this performance, I don't feel as bad. Still, it would've been nice just to see the originator of those great songs, live on stage. Getting old really SUCKS!
I have no clue how old you are, but if you are in your 50's or really any age, start taking care of yourself, and seriously start changing your diet , why, because Process foods , soda , just about anything , will make a person sick and cause you to have a lot of health issues . Everything I just said , is No Joke. I have noticed people getting sick at any age . As an "RN" and this is what all I have noticed in the last 4 years . I changed my diet 16 years ago , I no longer eat any Process foods, don't drink soda , etccccc.

It will be 28 years ago on the 25th that my father passed at 67 and currently one of my three older brothers (he's her P.O.A.) and I are in our seventh year of caring for our 92 year old mother with lewy body dementia…… though I saw signs three years before. I'm not sure how much more I can take of it. She's oblivious to her surroundings and is completely immobile. And now my health has been impacted like it's never been before. And my two oldest brothers, her "favorites", NEVER visit to help or relieve us. One lives LESS than two miles away and does absolutely NOTHING. I refuse to speak to him. And the thirteen caregivers that we went through prior to the pandemic were complete incompetents. So, when I wrote "Getting old really SUCKS!"…… I know from first hand experience. I've always remembered the bit of wisdom that my almost 99 year old grandmother would tell me before she died in 2001: "Don't get old".

Not hating at all. But as a past performer, myself, one has to realize at some point, to retire gracefully. The 4Seasons are one of my favorite groups, but they are better remembered for their large body of work 25 years ago! 😍

Thank you for posting this wonderful concert. I'm from New Jersey and the Four Seasons are my all-time favorite group from my home state. It is so wonderful that Frankie is still performing these concerts and sharing this fantastic music with his fans. Frankie is a national treasure and I will always be a fan. Unfortunately, for every Frankie Valli concert video, there are always lip sync trolls that pollute the comments section (sadly, the comments section has been overrun with these horrible people just as I predicted). If any of those lip sync trolls have the disgusting audacity to reply to me, their posts will be deleted by me. Frankie deserves respect for the legend that he is and yet these despicable people do the opposite. They won't get away with it on my watch. Frankie is the best. Unfortunately, one of those nasty, disrespectful, lip-sync trolls (Tom Hoffner) decided to ignore my warning and reply to me even though I made it clear that I never want to directly have any dialogue with someone who disrespects Frankie. This is what internet trolls, like Tom Hoffner do, and it happens every time I post how much I love these Frankie Valli concert videos. Really disgusting behavior on their part and it should never be tolerated. However, I did execute a delete and repeat (as I promised) which got rid of his unwanted, unwelcome replies and re-typed my original enjoyment of the concert video. 1 saw Frankie June 7th at the Mohegan Sun Arena. Simply a tremendous show. Had seen him on 3 previous tours over the years, every concert providing great performances. Robby Robinson, his composer/keyboardist makes it all happen👍🏿
Always loved Frankies songs. He doesn't need to hold the mic close when singing because he can project his voice. Bless you Frankie. Relax now you've more than earned it.
If you listen to other concerts on youtube (one is from 1982), he lost his ability to deliver an in-tune falsetto while singing live years ago. It appears in recent concerts, he’s been singing some in a lower key, live (which is obvious, his voice reflects the age) then some lip-synching to “later years” recordings, which are autotuned. I don’t really care either way, saw him in 2017 and 2021 and enjoyed both concerts immensely. The backup band and singers are always great, always have been.
I saw him several times many, many years ago. The shows were fantastic. As the concert was going on here, it looks like he was actually enjoying himself. At 90, God bless him, he's doing what he loves.

This is just disturbing to watch. To suggest he is lip-syncing is generous - his lack of any motion, including his mouth, when he is "singing" is jarring. This tour should be called "Weekend At Bernie's - The Musical". The discussions of his band and back up singers behind the scenes would be interesting to hear. Bless him for the longevity but this is wrong on so many levels.

Frankie Valli is a role model, & is an example of a person doing what they want to do. Doing what they love 💕 to do. He is living every moment of life, his idea of a dream life, doing what makes him happy. In turn it still makes many others happy with good memories. He is 90 years young and instead of giving up with life, he is living every moment of his life the way he wants to live it. Full & Complete. Frankie Valli -a legend-I get it. But he needs to call it a day. The only thing great about his performance is the terrific band he has put together and the backup “Four Seasons.” Frankie doesn’t get his microphone up in time to lip sync, and when he does the words are often wrong. He occasionally sings and that’s it . I saw Frankie in 1977, 2017 and 2021. Those are great memories to treasure always.

We watched him at Mountain Winery in Saratoga Ca last Aug 3 2024...I dont believed he's lypsincing but even if his presence was enough, appreciated and loved. Everyone went home happy. If you see him perform live its a different feeling. Be kind and positive

I sing, I have singers who sing, great arrangements….everything." That was in his statement. They've got enough of him on tape to probably make it seem like he's actually singing. The audio sounds messed with heavily. You can watch plenty of live performances of Frankie on UA-cam from 20, 30, 40 years ago and you can tell when it was really him still singing back then. I'd like to believe that he's genuine about wanting to tour under his own ambitions and not being forced to, but who knows... I think if he wanted to put the lip synch to bed, he should sing during his opening remarks or sing without anyone playing a cappella quick just to prove it.

My grandpa is 85 years old and in his youth days he was energetic, looking to repair things from the house. Nowadays he looks to repair things from his house, takes the ladder to go up for the roof even he fell one time he decides to keep doing it. There are elders who really want to keep moving. It's impressive how Valli is standing there for a long time.

My husband and I were at this concert and we had the same thoughts about him lip syncing. He could hardly talk, lift the mic or move his arms to the beat of the music.
I grew up listening to Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons and if I am to be honest I was saddened by what I saw. I understand that Mr Valli probably loves performing and finds it difficult to stop but I think it's time to call it a day.
Unfortunately the last memory I have of that incredibly talented man is not a good one.
I thank you for sharing your talents with us through the 60's and 70's but I think at 90 it's time to call it a day and enjoy what you have worked so hard for ❤

When Frankie speaks between songs, he holds the mic in front of his mouth and his lips clearly enunciate the words. When he "sings", he holds the mic in front of his chest and his lips barely move.

The mic has a thumb switch to dump the vocal track and allow him to speak. He's miming to a performance track (presumably from his later years) that's been digitally processed - you can hear by how synthetic it is. Seems like a con to me.

I enjoyed this so much. Sound was perfect. Stage presence was, in my opinion, wonderful!. I received a gift to go to the Frankie Valie in Detroit Mi. concert and n October 13th 2024 in Detroit. We couldn't be there due to a respiratory illness of our youngest grandson, we couldn't make a. I'm 66. I remember this music from my sisters
Initially, I was disappointed that I wasn't able to see Frankie at Radio City back in March. But, after seeing this performance, I don't feel as bad. Still, it would've been nice just to see the originator of those great songs, live on stage.

It will be 28 years ago on the 25th that my father passed at 67 and currently one of my three older brothers (he's her P.O.A.) and I are in our seventh year of caring for our 92 year old mother with lewy body dementia…… though I saw signs three years before.
I'm not sure how much more I can take of it. She's oblivious to her surroundings and is completely immobile. And now my health has been impacted like it's never been before.
And my two oldest brothers, her "favorites", NEVER visit to help or relieve us. One lives LESS than two miles away and does absolutely NOTHING. I refuse to speak to him.
And the thirteen caregivers that we went through prior to the pandemic were complete incompetents.
So, when I wrote "Getting old really SUCKS!"…… I know from first hand experience.
I've always remembered the bit of wisdom that my almost 99 year old grandmother would tell me before she died in 2001: "Don't get old".

Thank you for posting this wonderful concert. I'm from New Jersey and the Four Seasons are my all-time favorite group from my home state. It is so wonderful that Frankie is still performing these concerts and sharing this fantastic music with his fans. Frankie is a national treasure and I will always be a fan. Unfortunately, for every Frankie Valli concert video, there are always lip sync trolls that pollute the comments section (sadly, the comments section has been overrun with these horrible people just as I predicted). If any of those lip sync trolls have the disgusting audacity to reply to me, their posts will be deleted by me. Frankie deserves respect for the legend that he is and yet these despicable people do the opposite. They won't get away with it on my watch. Frankie is the best.
Unfortunately, one of those nasty, disrespectful, lip-sync trolls (Tom Hoffner) decided to ignore my warning and reply to me even though I made it clear that I never want to directly have any dialogue with someone who disrespects Frankie. This is what internet trolls, like Tom Hoffner do, and it happens every time I post how much I love these Frankie Valli concert videos. Really disgusting behavior on their part and it should never be tolerated. However, I did execute a delete and repeat (as I promised) which got rid of his unwanted, unwelcome replies and re-typed my original enjoyment of the concert video. I'm so glad UA-cam has this option so you can deal with internet trolls, like Tom Hoffner, in a justified manner where they don't get away with bothering someone. My advice to anyone who downloads these terrific Frankie Valli concerts on their UA-cam channel is to turn off the comments section. That way you don't give those disgustingly obnoxious lip-sync trolls such as Tom Hoffner a platform to spew their garbage. Real Frankie Valli fans like me are offended and nauseated by their atrocious, disrespectful attacks on Frankie and I speak for the majority. Real Frankie Valli fans, thank you for the up-votes. Your support is very much appreciated. It's a shame that when I did a repeat and delete to remove Tom Hoffner's disrespectful, attacking reply, it also removed Silent Knight's honest and great reply. Silent Knight's was the truth and worth reading while lip-sync trolls like Tom Hoffner are not and have nothing constructive to say or add to a conversation.

1 saw Frankie June 7th at the Mohegan Sun Arena. Simply a tremendous show. Had seen him on 3 previous tours over the years, every concert providing great performances. Robby Robinson, his composer/keyboardist makes it all happen👍🏿

If you listen to other concerts on youtube (one is from 1982), he lost his ability to deliver an in-tune falsetto while singing live years ago. It appears in recent concerts, he’s been singing some in a lower key, live (which is obvious, his voice reflects the age) then some lip-synching to “later years” recordings, which are autotuned. I don’t really care either way, saw him in 2017 and 2021 and enjoyed both concerts immensely. The backup band and singers are always great, always have been.
I saw him several times many, many years ago. The shows were fantastic. As the concert was going on here, it looks like he was actually enjoying himself. At 90, God bless him, he's doing what he loves.

This is just disturbing to watch. To suggest he is lip-syncing is generous - his lack of any motion, including his mouth, when he is "singing" is jarring. This tour should be called "Weekend At Bernie's - The Musical". The discussions of his band and back up singers behind the scenes would be interesting to hear. Bless him for the longevity but this is wrong on so many levels.

The only thing great about his performance is the terrific band he has put together and the backup “Four Seasons.” Frankie doesn’t get his microphone up in time to lip sync, and when he does the words are often wrong. He occasionally sings and that’s it . I saw Frankie in 1977, 2017 and 2021. Those are great memories to treasure always.

He isn't singing live, he is miming to pre-recorded vocals.
Unfortunately, the lip synching is much more obvious now because he at least used to sing along to his prerecorded voice. Now, he doesn’t even do that.

We watched him at Mountain Winery in Saratoga Ca last Aug 3 2024...I dont believed he's lypsincing but even if his presence was enough, appreciated and loved. Everyone went home happy. If you see him perform live its a different feeling. Be kind and positive

The audio sounds messed with heavily. You can watch plenty of live performances of Frankie on UA-cam from 20, 30, 40 years ago and you can tell when it was really him still singing back then. I'd like to believe that he's genuine about wanting to tour under his own ambitions and not being forced to, but who knows... I think if he wanted to put the lip synch to bed, he should sing during his opening remarks or sing without anyone playing a cappella quick just to prove it.
