Thank you Very much!
Thanks for sharing.. Returning Support with Full View and Like.. Shame you had to resort to painting so soon after putting them on.. I'm sure you'll get better life from the new and improved wiper arms..
Yep! The original parts on this truck were made in Canada, Mexico and USA. Most of them have lasted 20 years before they went defective or we change them to avoid problems but the aftermarket parts are not being made in those 3 countries by GM factories anymore. so, here's one of the examples with these wiper arms. Unfortunately GM discontinued some of these parts so we are at the mercy of the aftermarket products.
It sounds very interesting my friend John, thanks! Like with my kind regards and cheers, Charoula! 😍✽•♪♥✽♫💐

Thank you! Cheers!
Great idea John, thanks for sharing.
You bet
This is a good idea, it looks brand new.
Yep! Better than New 👍
Without clear coat, they're just going to fade and you'll need to repaint them, right?
I mean, even with clear coat, that'll happen, but it'll take a whole lot longer.
Doesn't take long to repaint them. The clear coat makes it more durable. I don't mind fade its the rusting I don't like. BTW the paint I used is in the description. its used on engines BBQs..... Its more of a Semigloss. like the factory paint on the wiper brackets...
@@JohnCRV Thank you for the reply

Thanks Elio. Have a great day!
Surprising the your replacement wiper arms rusted so quickly. Interesting to see how you removed them and repainted instead of replacing with new ones. I enjoyed in full to the end. Thank you, my friend.

Hi John. Thank you for this educational information. It was very useful information for me.
Thank you Ermine. I'm glad.
Super job! I haven't got a factory mark.
TY
Use some tape on the windscreen along the alignment of the wipers while they are still on, and realign the wipers to this tape when you put them back on after painting.
Do you need a primer?
Below is what I used. After reading the info you can decide for yourself if you want to use a primer. Good luck!
