    This is one of the most tastefully modified wr’s I’ve seen. Just need a full black concept seat.

      Thanks Flor Me. If you look on my channel you can see all the vids I have done. This was about a year ago this vid. I have done the seat and a few other mods like sm wheels and minor bling hehe. But thanks for the feed back

    Bigair01, Thank you for putting this channel together! I bought a 2017 last year. Mostly ride trails and use it to run to work in the summertime. I’ve done most of the same mods that you’ve put on your bike (no fancy carbon wrap though). Just did all the power mods today. Excited to try it out this week if the weather cooperates. Your videos sure made it easy to do all the mods. Very well done! Thanks! Born in Edmonton, raised in Med Hat, Go Flames!! 😀

      Haha no problem dude. Not sure on your taste of hockey teams hehe. Go oilers. But all kidding aside I created this channel to help others. I am constantly learning how to work on these bikes but I can at least share some of my knowledge. Cheers!

    Got the fuel controller because of you, air mods were easy. I gutted the stock exhaust myself and it's fine. I have the race tech rear shock kit but I'm holding off until I can get a new spring. I'm about 30 lbs more than you and I like to load up my gear on the back rack I made. Figure a rotopax mount will get me the range I want. Anyway thanks for sharing. I bought an extra set of wheels on ebay for 500 bones they look great for a set of street tires. Not super moto.

      @bigair0176  6 років тому

      moonreft thanks bro. Ya the fuel controller was best power mod for sure. The exhaust was not a big an increase for sure. Glad I can help man. That’s why I made this channel. Cheers

    Get that Seat Concepts seat. PLEASE DO A SUPERMOTO SET! YOUR BIKE WOULD BE THE FASTEST WR250R THEN. Go with Warp 9’s, fully custom. Blue rim, black spokes, gold hubs and nipples. What battery are you running in it? Go lightweight (stock is 4LBS, aftermarket is 1LB). Do the EXUP mod as well, google it. That’ll be decked out haha!

    • @bigair0176

      That would be sweet for sure. Cheers

    Nice bike. I use the same 13/47 sprockets on my WR. Definitely increased the torque but killed the road speed significantly. If anyone rides this bike also as a commuter, i dont recommend 47 tooth rear sprocket. Great little bike, thank you.

    • @bigair0176
      @bigair0176  5 років тому

      Thanks for feedback. This bike is great for in town commuting which is what I use it for. But even if you had a 43 on the highway this bike is a little light for long runs on a highway. It would do it but would be working hard with both a 43 and 47. Cheers

    Your vinyl wrap turned out great! It looks much better than stock. Did you do anything to fix your speedometer reading after putting on the 47t sprocket? I’m torn between the speedohealer and the speedodrd.

    • @bigair0176
      @bigair0176  6 років тому

      Anthony S no that is something else I would like to do for sure. I will prob do the speed healer myself. Thanks for feedback. You gonna wrap yours? There is a lot of cool designs and colours for sure dude.

    • @court2379

      The speedometer is measured of the front wheel. The sprocket has no effect on it.

      Lol I wanted the 400 torque for sure cause I had a xr400 prior. Overall tho this bike is still fun tho. Very nimble and light. The sm setup I have now is great for commuting and a little fun in the twisties!

    Looks like u keep it up well,,I ride a 650 vstrom I like it but it's not a dirt bike,,I just found out about Chinese dirt bike,s,,think il try one I'm 60, so if it doesn't last we will probably quite about the same time,ha,, keep having fun,,,gb,,,PS where do you ride at,

    • @bigair0176
      @bigair0176  5 років тому

      Glen Baker thanks glen. I try keep my vehicles in tip top shape. If you take of it it will take care of you I say. The Chinese bikes from my experience are not built to well. Hard to find parts for to if it’s a unique bike. I would stay with the Japanese brands or the European ones. Much easier to maintain. I ride on Vancouver island on the west coast of bc. Cheers. Thanks for feedback and watching

    kilometers per year is mentioned straight off. so i am assumimg this is a canadian production. so why then is mileage the reference point. should it not be kilometerage ?

    • @bigair0176
      @bigair0176  4 роки тому

      Yes the bike is in km. Not sure what you mean. Are you talking about the valve adjust mileage?

  • @GoonRides
    @GoonRides 6 років тому +2

    Get some Hammerhead bling parts for the gear shifter and brake pedal. Go to HDMoto.com and use code “Goon” to save 15% off. It’ll save you some money, as well as show Hammerhead I can get a customer 🤣💀 lmk if you’ll do it, thanks man

    I have the Q4, AIS Mod, removed that diaphragm on the top of air box, and the EJK. However, can’t find why I get intermittent scary as hell loss of power for 2-3 secs. Many times on the freeway. Do you encounter any of these issues? My bike would be lucky to pop a wheelie in first gear

    • @bigair0176
      @bigair0176  4 роки тому

      Nope. But I have a wiseco. Basically same controller tho. Haven’t had any issues with mine. Try going to a bigger rear tooth sprocket if your running no the stock 43t. It will help with the torque

  • @court2379
    @court2379 4 роки тому

    Who told the oring chain is heavier...use one just because they are safer. Std chains only last about 3500 miles. You are at risk of them breaking as they wear. If it wraps up and locks your tire, you could endo. I have as I was standing when it broke.
    Also you realize the brake lines are braided on the inside right. Its fine it you want a look, but that flex stuff is nonsense.

    • @bigair0176
      @bigair0176  4 роки тому

      Just did research online. I’m sure you have a point being safer. There are lots of reasons why an o-ring chain is beneficial. But when this bike already has a hp disadvantage I want the power to get to the rear wheel with less resistance is all. I am now over 10000km with this and no issues. I suspect if the master link isn’t regularily checked you run that risk of the chain breaking. And yes I would like the look and when I do replace I would like to confirm your comment on the steal braiding on the inside. Certainly again not what my research has found. I tend to do a ton of research on my parts before I make a decision on one. My sprockets have also barely worn in that same amount of time. If you regularily lube and adjust they last a lot longer. But thanks for your feedback. C

    • @bigair0176
      @bigair0176  4 роки тому

      There may be steel wire in the rubber lines but they are not braided steel wires. The hoses would still flex. Not that it makes a huge difference as these are fairly light machines. I would like the look and performance value from braided lines is all
