If you can adjust the ignition timing you should if you use 93+ octane fuel. I have a 2020 but it’s still completely stock. In the past I’ve advanced the ignition with good gas and it makes a pretty good difference in the low rpm torque. I’d say substantially on most bikes
I have a 51 tooth for dirt tires and 50 tooth for the supermoto set of wheels. Happy with the change, don’t stall in the dirt or on the trails like I did with the stock 43 tooth.
Thanks for the interesting video. I’m a little sad to see you sell it but I’m sure it will go to a good home. It’s been fun watching the bike change over the years. Extremely curious to see and hear what the new bike is.
Great video! Thanks for sharing! I did a homemade tail tidy using the oem parts with new LED turn signals. The oem tail/brake light came with inline wire resistors/capacitors (yellow wire) and I neglected to reinstall it and eventually my brake/tail light burned out. Did you reinstall the inline resistor/capacitor wire in your new setup? Thanks! Sean
Not hating, just an observation. Sad you put all that $ into that bike, to sell it. That's why I'm keeping mine box stock. I'm good with it pretty much the way it sits. Maybe that sprocket change on the rear, would be the start of the rabbit hole. 😊
@@daveallen2455 dude. I don’t take anything like that to heart. Trust me I hear ya and feel very much the same. There is a good chance I keep it. But if I get what I want for it it will be gone. But for now you never know. Haha maybe you see more vids in future haha. I still have my steel braided brake lines sitting on the bench I haven’t put on the bike yet

I always use high octane in my small engines. Cheers!
Good stuff. I’m gonna do the same mods on my x. I’ve had it for 8 years and only just been riding it in the last year.
Love the bike so fun

Ya so much better then the stock 43. Cheers!

You will have to Wait and See . Hope all is well John. Cheers
What's the airbox mod? The flapper mod seems pointless because it only closes when engine breaking.
I taped the flapper open.

Mine was a plug and play from 12 o’clock labs. Was super easy
Do you have a link for the 12 o'clock stuff and for the fork blinker?
www.12oclocklabs.com/. Check the more bling video I made for the fork lights.
So now your new dirt bike is going to sit around for once or twice a year. Same difference.
Your probably right. One of my regrets for the WR250R tho is its torque. Something a little lighter and more power offroad would be nicer. Cheers

You only ride once or twice a year because your work/life took you away from your riding bro's. Sad to see the WR go.
Certainly affected it for sure.

They are super reliable and fun for short rides. Cheers.
