Why cant you just buy a tank? They look alot nicer and they don't look cluttered. If I was a snake, I don't think I would want to spend my life in a small box...
Well you are not a snake. So you don't know what they think. They definitely don't want to live In a tank. It doesn't help them to feel safe. Think about it, a snake only comes out of hiding for two things, food and mating. So, let's say that you take food and a mate to a wild rainbow boa, how much will it leave their hide? Close to none. So you are providing food to these guys in tubs so they don't feel a need to escape. Trust me if snakes wanted out, they would get out. And to top it off, tubs hold humidity and heat to the perfect amount. Also, they let you house many more snakes for cheaper. You could even buy a huge tub the size of a tank for way less. And you are supposed to use a vivarium not a tank. A tank is for fish. Yes I'm very triggered. But I think I got my point across without being rude, and being informative

What do your temps and humidity stay at? I have basically the same set up, but the heat mats suck. Humidity is around 90%, but temp is around 75.

I bet that heat mat fell off several times. I tried that once and it was 👎🏼 I'm sure you replaced with heat tape.
