Its great they did this on television just for the sole purpose of Joe getting a good (great) mix on his vocals... and Mario is a beast even on a small kit. Would have loved them to play the entire song, but Ive played on live television as well, and I know time doesn't always permit. Either you cut the song off cleanly, or they'll butcher you sliding into a commercial... it happened to us once.. now we wrap it up instead of playing a 5 minute solo that the rest of the world won't see. Hahaha.
@@demirie385 generally yes, depends on what works for you ergonomically, but most of the time havng it tighter than farther spaced will help you drum better because of less need for mobility, less wasted movement and it'll save your joints in the long run. Don't have your hi-hat like Mario is what I'm saying hha

They sound amazing and LARGE! Given the venue, I'd have fears that it'd sound like a club...great audio, even if they cut the songs to "radio length."
