I would totally subscribe to Lance's channel. He explains everything so well, doesn't make anyone feel stupid. He went thru how to prepare your car for winters in Alaska on your brother's channel and even though I am in Minnesota I use his advise to prepare my car for our winters.
When we camped, I always made a list of everything we needed…the list saved a lot of frustration.

I'm glad there's someone else besides me that has to have everything done(house cleaned,laundry, etc.) Before we go away even camping which we do every weekend from May 1st till October 31 camping season. Enjoyed watching all you do for your family ❤

Make a packing list for RVing, and refer to it the next times.... you may not get as crazy! But i use to do the same thing, cleaning up around the house before trips. Can't wait for the next vlogs!

I feel your stress while packing. As a Mom you feel responsible for everything you might need and you feel terrible if you forget something. It is hard to be perfect so give yourself grace.

I'm so grateful for y'all on getting vacation days with Lance's new job. It's so refreshing don't you think? He's not having to ask for time off. All you do is pack up and go. :)

😂 Right?! But somehow knowing your house is clean longer than an hour is comforting, even if no one is home 🤣
We used to tease my mom because she would never leave for a trip until the house was clean and all of the beds made and clothes cleaned and put away. Looking back on those days it now seems like a great idea. How nice it is to come home to a clean and tidy home.
I live in Kodiak but I’m coming to Fairbanks for a Northern lights photography workshop in September.

Make a list for vacation on your phone. While you are on vacation, add all those things you wished you had brought and take off what you really didn't need.
I have always had motion sickness, but went ahead and paid for a tour by boat from Seward. I mentioned my motion sickness to the woman at the desk and she recommended a bracelet. I didn't want to take any medication because it always made me groggy or sleepy. This was my one and only trip to Alaska and did not want to be sleepy for one second. So I bought the bracelet (had very teeny tiny beads). I put it on and went on the cruise. I did not have one single problem with motion sickness!! It really truly works and I didn't have to take any meds. I was able to enjoy the cruise to the nth degree. Try those bracelets to see if they will work for everyone.

The only way I could be ready when we would go on a trip was to lay out suitcases the week before the trip. As I did laundry or think of something I will need I put in the suitcases. My three boys were 18 months apart of each other. We had one bag of snacks and one small cooler with drinks. Have a wonderful trip!

I can understand why the heat gets to u...growing up without a.c. we could cool our house down after the sun went down...your temps probably don't drop at night bcuz the sun is still up...i would invest in a window a.c. and ceiling fans...they help push heat down during the winter too...just reverse them

Thanks for being real- I relate to your stress. And I remember well the work involved, especially for my parents, in getting our freezer packed with salmon for our family. You don’t want that to go bad!(Also, I need to go google Malibu - I have never quite explored girly stuff so I enjoy learning from your self care in your videos. ) Enjoy your littles while you can!
I would love a channel that explains the basics on maintaining vehicles. The knowledge I have is what I learned in the late 70s and the 80s. Needless to say, there isn't a choke on cars any longer 😆

Hopefully people up there remember not to leave kids or pets in the car while running errands. We used to be able to help the associates at Walmart when they brought out groceries but now we have to stay in the car. I wish we could tip them. The more you guys camp you will figure out you won't need as much as you thought. It gets easier. Wait, you guys eat bear???
