This was a fourth wall breaking moment to cover my ass, as I'm also AI controller. Could you image if I didn't pre boost from a little machine gun fire, and actually combo'd a blade stagger to a in the face spread bazooka :D
I did some thinking, and believe Freud is more than just number one of the Vespers, number one on the board. He's the perfect candidate for coral release. He's got the strongest will, he is one with his machine. Surgery would in the long run be a hindrance if he's at this stage, and with release, merging with the wave. It would create what Allmind see's as the perfect AC pilot. In creating the perfect pilot, she eradicates humanity.
You gotta be augmented for coral release, infact Allmind chose you exactly for this reason, you can connect with the coral because you have 4th gen augmentation, so he's literally the least candidate.
Release effects everyone at that point. The moment it's completely out of it's cage, everything is effected. Ambient coral effects only augmented due to the process of augmentation. Release is a form of augmentation without surgery. It's like a Doser using coral drugs, and being connected with the wave.
Yeah you gotta be augmented for her to find you as a candidate. Specifically augmented from Gen 1 through 4. Freud has no augmentations, and from his dialogue he knows how A.I. ACs fight, which are probably pretty predictable with his experience. Allmind is an A.I. so best for her to avoid him, her goal is also to create superior pilots. Quite literally wants ACs and human to evolve into each other and make AC basically an extension for the body of a human. Coral release supposedly does this, with basically augmenting every human with coral, so at the end of the third ending Freud quite literally becones the ultimate pilot if he survived. Also pretty interesting that Freud is not augmented, it helps you fight better, but I think he just like the challenge, he has that dawg in him.
Never aug'D, always Top. Makes it better. Just like irl (pilot), nice cut body all natural is better than the roid veins and a small pistol in your pocket. Arquebus only hires Long Guns...
Ok I know about the themes and such about this guy being unaugmented but I managed to kill this guy in 8 seconds before I staggered him with a bazooka and pile bunkered him. I also remember I murdered him in the arena after struggling with Michigan.
I didn’t pay attention to the lores and dialogues during my first playthrough and I went for the RFL ending. So I had no idea that Chatty is an AI until this mission when Freud one shot him. I honestly thought he is like Rumy, a human pilot but more skilled and collected. Maybe it is the fact that Chatty is actually far more caring than most actual humans we have met in Rubicon.
I described the fight against LOCKSMITH as "like dancing" to my best friend. The most flattering thing I've ever been told was when she responded with, "You're exactly right--and you're the only other person that I can say that about."
It is satisfying in one of the endings I get to kick his ass not once but TWICE and the only thing that POS learned is to bring a better mech with spam. The disrespectful cur, I put him in his place the second and final time.
Be like freud people... 1 - Appear in only one mission of one ending of the entire game. 2 - Give the best burn to the most ass character of the game. 3 - Be only a normal man in the middle of augmented humans, and still be the best. 4 - Be so good that you got bored of your job. 5 - Gives no fuck for the mission and fight only to have the time of your life!
To me Freud is an interesting example of an "exceptional badass" character being played straight. He's an incredibly cynical human being who doesnt care about anything else but his vanity and a fatalistic death drive. He deserved to die like a jobber and the thematic key is in Carlas line about us not doing this for fun. By this point in the story 621 has made a choice about their fate and therefore has something to fight for beyond it just being orders. Freud lives in his fantasy world until the end.
V.1 was kind of a disappointment to me. There was all this anticipation about fighting the top of the leaderboard, leader of the Vespers, an ordinary human who basically outmatched everyone regardless. Then I rushed him with duel zims and pilebunkered him before he could heal and killed him in about 10 seconds. For the "best" he went down faster then the trainee.
I still couldn't quite understand Allmind's ranking in the Arena. It's a fact that the Arena ACs are just past shadows of the real deal, and the actual pilot is much different. Dolmayan and Rusty clearly trivialized Freud, even Carla was more of a challenge. Is the ranking paid by Arquebus lol!?
I think her ranking is supposed to be lore accurate. Zero augmentions. Just a man who loves piloting his AC. I hate that he kills chatty, but damn i would love to have faught this guy more.
I just realized Carla says "it takes serious skill to use those laser drones like the way he does." That means the funnels in thei game arent computerized, the pilot is controling them. Thats insane
She wanted to destroy a revolutionary fuel source. Come on, you like paying 7000COAM a gallon for gas? Get f***ing real.
-dodges into a wall
"I havent seen moves like that before, interesting"
Boy you got cooked.
Freud: "AI controlled AC, always the same."
Carla *Triggered*
This was a fourth wall breaking moment to cover my ass, as I'm also AI controller. Could you image if I didn't pre boost from a little machine gun fire, and actually combo'd a
blade stagger to a in the face spread bazooka :D
i was really looking forward to fighting Freud, but he got absolutely washed when i finally met him
it's a shame that his fight isn't harder
If I stepped up one notch, you'd cry, I'd get nerfed.
i WaNt M0rE
man rlly got bricked up upon fighting us
Getting Carla to shut up was v1s shining achievement
“He killed Chatty”
“YOU BASTARD”
I was so devestated that he did not write born to kill on his headpiece
If they're going to make certain fights easier, this is one of several they should absolutely make harder.
It was hard for me... well, to start the mission... I have a strict no suicide policy.
You're the first person to understand where I'm coming from, and I applaud you.
Never aug'D, always Top. Makes it better. Just like irl (pilot), nice cut body all natural is better than the roid veins and a small pistol in your pocket. Arquebus only hires Long Guns...
Man's really live to fight
And only to fight
*Normal Human btw, not augmented*
Has anyone else noticed Freud's VA was the voice of Eddie Brock in Spectacular Spiderman?
Ok I know about the themes and such about this guy being unaugmented but I managed to kill this guy in 8 seconds before I staggered him with a bazooka and pile bunkered him.
I also remember I murdered him in the arena after struggling with Michigan.
Same here. Michigan was way harder than Freud. Really disappointing, to be honest.
I feel like the name "Locksmith" shouldn't sound anywhere near as bad ass as it does.
Jesus... I already won the mission. I was screwing with you. Oh right, you rocked my
socks with a rifle and blade?
Locksmith = Longsword, trust me, if anyone would know, it's me.
It fits with the weapons he has, he has something for every situation.
Locksmith makes sense given his tweaking and design. It’s a puzzle solver.
Chatty :(
I described the fight against LOCKSMITH as "like dancing" to my best friend. The most flattering thing I've ever been told was when she responded with, "You're exactly right--and you're the only other person that I can say that about."
Cinder and 621 mission?
Busting through space against the fleet
Ty for doing these
He's just Goku.
Where did "Because we believe in you, Tourist" at 2:23 come from? Is it deleted dialogue? Because I've never heard it before.
Just an outro line I spliced together.
I didn't hear ANY of this during my fight with him the first time
He killed Chatty and I killed him about as fast as you did
Freud=shonen protagonist battle junkie
Show him we're not doing this for fun.....umm actually i am
Hate Freud for destroying Chatty, but love how he puts Snail on mute
Freud is Kenpachi from Bleach
Zenos from FF14
Wrong, Freud is the original Vesper(a)s, IE me.
Freud lore: Apex predator, he's the ace of aces
Freud gameplay: Absolute pushover
Shame.
From this I think we can conclude that absolutely *no one* likes V. II Snail.
*Good*
V. II Fail
Swinburn and used to 😂
Ranked lower than fucking Father Dolmayan, what a joke.
It is satisfying in one of the endings I get to kick his ass not once but TWICE and the only thing that POS learned is to bring a better mech with spam. The disrespectful cur, I put him in his place the second and final time.
Correct
watching this cause I killed him too fast to get any dialogue, who knew a laser lance and a pile bunker was all it took to kill this guy
So, what does happen to snail in this ending. Considering the xylem is never taken im assuming he dies offscreen, but then who kills him? Maybe Rusty?
The planet is toasted in Fire Of Raven ending, so i guess he died just like everyone in Rubicon
Could you do the dialogue from the two bosses at the Jorgen Refueling base and the HC & LC fight at the space port?
Sure, I'm working on Michigan/Pater(Hawkins) next, so that'll be after tomorrow probably.
Freud lives in his fantasy world until the end.
god hes so hot
0:13 bro thinks he's Adam Warlock 💀
I've never heard most of the dialog because I vaporize ACs too quick with twin needle + zookas
So you used needles, Arquebus tech?
V.1 was kind of a disappointment to me. There was all this anticipation about fighting the top of the leaderboard, leader of the Vespers, an ordinary human who basically outmatched everyone regardless.
Then I rushed him with duel zims and pilebunkered him before he could heal and killed him in about 10 seconds. For the "best" he went down faster then the trainee.
Freud it's just like those mecha geeks anime protagonist and OP isekai protagonist because he is different from the rest (unaugmented).
I'm also under 3% body fat, 8lbs overweight, with an hourglass figure. I'm in my own category. Geek? If you are sexy, that's not an insult.
Like how the strongest version of the Bell Bearing hunter is much tougher than Godrick or even Morgott but in lore he is just a murderer who knows a little telekinesis.
But yeah they should have made Freud tougher. I had much more trouble against Coldcall
@@valentinvas6454 I think the game suffered a bit from having too many "Top" characters. Freud, Dolmayan, Nightfall, even Ortus Rusty. All of them are "Champion" in their own rights, but somehow I think it might be an homage to The Last Raven. Maybe?
Chatty Sticku
Do you happen to have the upload code for your mech? I really like the color scheme and would like to have it saved to use on some of my builds.
Hi Oros, can you give us builds for spider, ice worm, enforcer, IB-01: CEL 240,IB-C03: HAL 826 (Ending 1 boss),IB-07: SOL 644 (Ending 2 boss),All mind.
americans got jealous that the number one in arena is Freud and not Watson
Who is Watson?
@@joshuawilliams8252 J.B Watson, founder of Behaviorism and self-confessed Psicoanalysis hater
But I'm American...
I'm retarded and don't get it.
too bad ac to ac fight is a joke in this game
Never say the quiet part loud.
Wait till the next mod gets some sort of combat fix shit to it so the AI and utilize its newfound power to its fullest ability.
I let you win. You saw what happened when all these souls nubs couldn't beat the non Arquebus Balteus, no?
They're a joke in all the games if you whore out to the meta
