Damnit...known bug on the same stupid camera I used on the LDP setup vids!! I never hear it because of my tinnitus, which I wasn't aware of at the time. But I figured out how to remove that sound from one of the shorter vids so I might try the same with this one...
Does anyone use homebrew bike chain lube? It seems similar to skanunu. You make it by diluting motor oil with mineral spirits. Maybe 0w30 diluted to three parts mineral spirits.
+Echo Leader I may check that out. Would gun lube be a really thin machining-type oil, because of the high tolerances? Just wondering how sticky it is, if you'd need to reapply it more often. My favorite silicone stuff is no longer sold, so I've since switched to Tri-Flow, a chain oil that cyclists use-- works awesome.
+james peters no it's not that thin. Silicone lasts a little longer but becomes a magnet for dust. Which means after a while you have to clean the residue off. I use Hoppe's number 9 on almost anything. The tri-flow you use now has the same consistency as the stuff I use. I've actually used it on a few of my guns.
@TheToomuchswagg - thats a Gbomb, if you search pavedwave forum for "Cambiar" you'll find a huge thread about its evolution. that particular deck was early model but now he and Subsonic work together on some really nicely shaped stuff.
that sound is killing me, that high pitch sound

I’ve been lax on taking care of bearings. More conscientious from now on. Thanks James.
Great! now the dirt can really stick to it.

where can u buy lube?

I recommend gun lube. Doesn't leave the sticky yellow residue that silicone does.

Cool! I thought it would be like trumpet valve oil which was too thin. I'll def check it out.
always buy your lubes from the ZEP guy
