Thanks for this tutorial! Can we get an instruction showing how to connect certain points of one mesh to a different point selection on the same mesh? I cant find a solution...
Loved this tip especially going over the new way of attaching with the Belt Tag. Can you do a quick tip on how you recorded the animation for the stick? Thanks.
Set the pivot to the end of the stick (top or bottom depends on your needs) Then add a vibrate tag to the stick and play with rotation and position values 🙂
You can just use the same technique with a tiny object. Play the animation with the tiny object with cloth belted to it, while it plays you can move around the object with you mouse. You can also record your mouse movements and keyframe it.
One of the UX / UI flaws in most 3D applications is the fact that the next step is always visible / activated. The next step should get visible/ activated, after the 1st step is Activated / validated , I am pretty sure such conditional behavior is not easy to integrate, and 3D Artists are used to difficult workflows, after all nothing about 3D is easy.
@@pooyadeperson what if UX people from Apple were to design/revamp C4D, as it’s already the direction it is heading to, wonder what it would be like :)

Looks like tip #347 does it with cappucino.

@@3rdDim3nsn3D Thanks!:)
cool. now how do you attached the other end of the ribbon to another stick? to have two moving poles and the ribbon interacting appropriately within?
Second belt tag maybe ?
Amazing. Thanks!!
is it possible to do this without making the object editable? Using the correction deformer doesnt seem to work
So the new cloth tag works great with primitive stuff but the belt requires making your object editable to access the points..? Shame
Is it possible to manipulate the cloth just using the mouse arrow? Instead of an object?

Note for the ux guys : step 1 - choose an object, should be at the top, then step 2 should be below. Stop the non sense please.
