    I don't remember if I commented yet or not, but I need to say that I just don't know why you don't have more subscribers. This is the only channel I have ever seen talk about this, and I needed it so long ago. The geometry nodes thing is giving me a bit of anxiety, but it also is exactly what i need. I needed to be able to add rounded corners on the inside of things, not to mention I want to do anime, and most of the time, the insides of lines are like that. This is genuinely glorious. And the ability to edit the line art and make it look more interesting is something I have wanted for ages. My only wish is that the lines could look like some of my fave line art tools I use. I love going for an intentionally scratchy look. It makes drawings look more visually appealing, and helps an artist stand out from the typical Instagram artists because it being less perfect and polished makes it better.

    the most efficient method for look dev viewport animations in real-time is outline with shaders, solidify method increases poly count too much for viewport to handle and the geo-node method is also too heavy for single threaded workloads, use solidify for low poly objects with hard edges and use shader method on other objects

      absolutely not, I use it all the time, there are scenarios where it doesn't look good, then I use a different technique

    Hey , I wanted to start learning blender , and this artstyle(?) is exactly what I want to achieve , I'm a complete beginner (I just know how to model basic thing with no shading or anything at all) and I would like to know if it wil use more or less RAM ? My computer is rather weak Soo I was just wondering 🤔

      What do you mean? What do you compare the RAM usage with?

      @@levimagony yes !!! Like , is regular 3d object use more or less than this kind of outlined objects?

      @@lunarekkab if you mean realistic renders vs toon shading, yeah this needs less power, but these are still models with polygons

    Curve doesn't convert to GressePencil. Is there a condition for it to be converted? 🥺 Thank you for sharing so much information

      @levimagony  Місяць тому +1

      In the new blender 4.3 you can convert it via geonodes, but you can convert the curve to a mesh then to a greasepencil

      I found a way, you choose your mesh that you want to convert, then press SHIFT+A -> GressePencil -> Object lineart

    Make a tutorial, please, showing the use of modifiers which generate a free sketchy style look (as it is the one in the 1.20 m. of the video). Thanks!

    I can't get Outline with Shader to work at 6:30
    It just creates a black and white separated by a sharp split

    I have my models set on cycles and it has a fisheye perspective on it but these are pretty basic models. I attempted applying your tips in the video but even after creating backface culling via nodes the object itself still appears fully black aka the colour of its outline. I cross-checked everything and I have no other shaders applied to them but they're still very black. what do I do? :/
