- Yay … it’s Friday. I’ve discovered a few things I want to try from the supermarket so keep an eye out in my daily vlogs for my thoughts on them.
OMG … home made croutons are the way forward … thank goodness I’d run out!!
I have had a comment that was really quite upsetting. I usually ignore most comments but when someone questions my integrity it really bothers me. I’m also very sad that this person said what she did. I can’t help but feel the constant misinformation that is currently being aired in the UK (in particular itv) has partly fed into this situation. One sided media also annoys me. I’ll chat about this a bit more (maybe) in my week 9 update.
Enough negative energy on that … time to spread some love and happiness ♥️

These people are cowards they hide behind the screens of their phones to bully people verbally and put them down they dare not do it face to face. I watch your videos every time they come out to give me tips and inspiration. I would document my journey but I am not adverse with UA-cam etc. you have given me several tips, like to measure myself, use clothing and belt for success, and been watching what you eat etc. I started my journey May 1st and to date list 50 pounds but now struggling to lose weight for the last couple weeks. Loads is water as I have pulmonary hypertension in the lungs need an operation, so legs gone down etc. I am going through the mills at the moment. Hey ho enough about me. Continue to vlog and just delete damaging harmful and nasty comments and leave it at that they are not worth commenting on in detail on live air

@@ladymawa unfortunately not, I have to pay out my own pocket. Two year waiting list and that does not mean to say nice will approve it. My weight is loss is more or less at a stand still I am struggling to get the proteins and calories in and exercise I know I have to put this in. It's a struggle and a battle. Still grieving at the loss of my one and only child at the age of 19 whom suddenly passed away three years ago. So one long lonely journey. Watched your video today

I am so sad that your injection is not funded. The nhs are so reluctant to purchase because of the cost. So short sighted of them. Can I ask what dose you are on?
I’ve just bought some My Protein clear protein which is like a juice rather than a shake. I’ve found chicken and tuna are great sources of protein.
As for exercise just do what you are able. Even if a couple of bottles of water for arm exercises.
Take care and maybe have a chat with your prescriber to see if they can suggest anything.

I did used to love tomato and salad cream sandwiches! I haven’t had salad cream for ages because it’s ultra processed and I’m trying to avoid it, but did buy some recently because I really like it and miss it. A small bit isn’t going to kill me and it really enhances a boring salad.
A little of what you fancy does you good. I’m a great believer in that. Balsamic glaze is really nice too. I’ve not had that in ages actually so might pick some up next week.

Hi Marcia, have you tried the johnsons make up be gone wipes, they do a pink packet, blue packet and a purple packet for different skin types, I personally use the pink ones and they are absolutely fantastic at removing water proof mascara and also leave my skin so soft plumped and calm without any irritation, definitely worth trying especially when travelling as much easier than the liquid removers. ❤ Xxx
I’ll have a look for these for my next holiday. It is much easier using wipes when I’m away so thanks for the recommendation ♥️

Not surprised you are angry about that comment. When as you say, someone questions your integrity its very insulting and would infuriate me.
It’s the one thing I truly value about myself so like you, it’s deeply offensive if it’s questioned. It just shows that even when someone has watched me for years they still have no clue about who I really am and what I value.
It takes a lot to make me cross but I was fuming 🙈
I’m over it now, I know the type of person I am and that’s all that really matters in the end isn’t it.

Hi perhaps message that person whom said that about you being ex nurse etc. flogging drugs etc. say to her that's what she said was defamation if character and she should delete it and get facts before accusing people that is out of order. Tell her to read the top part of comments remember to keep comments respectful and to follow guidelines. Does the person does not know that loads of people offer discounts. I am on the injection hence watching you for good advice and I have been following others and they all do it.

I don’t think she realises how many people are on this type of medication and that lots who watch my videos are on similar journeys to myself. This is why I shared the code so that people have a choice to try and save some money on their prescription. I’m not trying to get people to sign up and get started … as you know it doesn’t work like that. Unfortunately people see reports of beauty salons etc selling god knows what and then they think this is what we are all doing. They don’t realise it is a prescription only medication and there are strict criteria to meet.

Honestly, I would have to say that as a former nurse I'd trust you more than someone who wasn't because you do know what can happen if you do go with a company that is dodgy, so apart from not wanting to take suspect stuff yourself, you're hardly likely to advise or even hint that anyone else should, and as for thinking you're trying to make a fast buck! FFS!
If I had a £ for every time you've said people don't have to use your codes just ake sure you're not paying full price for whatever it is, I'd be sitting pretty, so I hope you didn't feel badly about her comments for too long, because that sort of comment is not worth your time *HUGS *
Anyhoo... 😉If you are popping into Aldi I can recommend a few bits to try. The Iced Joe coffees which are I think about 89p are exactly the same as the Arctic Coffee ones that are £1.15 in Tesco - literally the same as they are made by the same company that is about 20 miles from me, and their coffees are delicious! They also do a protein one too!
Also, the spicy chorizo ring in Aldi is IMHO the best and a really reasonable price.
If you are wanting the Skyr-type yoghurts, then try the ones from Aldi that are in the little pouches - I think there are three different flavours, and the berries one is delicious!
