Thats wild you were able to hangout with other gear heads and start your 3-link. Even had an appearance of your co-host. Never lose your infectious optimism.
Stoked on this build! And seeing Grindhard, Dirthead Dave, and Justin Braun! Love those guys 🤘🇨🇦
Sweet colab! Three of my favorite channels!
13:12 maple syrup!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hahah that was pretty cool!
Hexagons are rad though. Bees and everyone that does cad loves them 😂
Dirt head dave is awesome. That cross member is going to be the bomb. That cardboard template probably took longer to build then the metal one
Sweet! Looking good buddy. Good group of dudes too.
Thanks dude!
Nice utilization of CAD (cardboard aided design) clint🤘.
Awesome to see Ethan and Dave in the video! Both dude build some awesome stuff.
Cool to see other youers that I watch
Thing is turning out great! 🤘🤘
Ok, so you being there was sweet, but Dave? Wtf. That's so rad.
Awesome guys that was really cool 😎
Bet it a few days that go by, before the perma-grin wears off, after seeing the guys
Thats whats up !! Looks Sweet now thats Custom !!
This maybe a dumb question but are you not able to make the lower link mount and the steering bump all in one? that way you could get rid of the steering stop.
You’re rad too Clint!
Thanks!
That is some serious cad! 😆👍
That's a damn nice looking crossmember man! i gotta get me one of those arcdroids lol
Just for future reference, BudBuilt has a aftermarket crossmember plate made from 1/4 flat plate for single and dual transfer cases w/wo skid plate, and they will make the for vehicles with body lifts to tuck your drive train back up.
I used to have a TG crossmember that was the same. Can't use it with my link setup I'm making.
Right on! This is great! Can’t wait to see it come together!
Nice to see you hanging with the Grindhard bois.
Love the videos keep them coming I'm rebuilding my 81 K5 jimmy I'm working on the crossover steering and shackle flip can't wait too go for awheel.
Idk why, but i feel like I've seen you irl before, but know i haven't, you live 12 hours away from me haha
❤❤
I’m curious why you didn’t mount the upper to the pumpkin. I was able to mount mine there and still clear the oil pan on my 5vz swap, and my motor is SUPER low.
Because I didn't want to package it with exhaust and drive shaft. Just easier to do it on the other side. No reason why I shouldn't 🤣
@@DirtGarage interested to see how it turns out! I’m running 14” coilovers with about 4” up and the rest down tucking 38s
@@DirtGarage I’m also just south of it in Coeur D Alene if you want to check it out and wheel sometime!
@@TheTreadLife_ Yeah I'm doing 14s too. Hoping to squeeze as much up travel as possible, gonna make my engine mounts different now to to gain some room. Either way it'll be a huge upgrade from the 2" up travel I got with the leaf setup
@@DirtGarage let’s link up sometime! Just followed you on IG
Why not go to a full size front axle while you're at it so you can stop breaking axles man
Because I already have a truck with tons. RCVs will be a must on this.
Is that Dave Chappel?
Yup!
All that money lost changing your design mid-way thru.... kidding. Cardboard is the best, I've also used wood for some stuff
