  • This week we finish welding all the frame side brackets for the 3 link on my 1989 Toyota Pickup. Remove engine and drivetrain and put the body back on. HUGE PROGRESS!

    Looking really "PREMIUM".👍 One problem that I have with your videos is, that there aren't enough of them. Joking aside, I can't wait to see the completed project.

    I like how Clint has a shop that the average guy has. Nothing fancy and huge. But he still gets it done with the tools and shop he has. Proves that with some knowledge and the ambition anyone can do it. Would like to see his channel get big enough so he could get all that.

    Cutting oil while drilling helps and light pressure towards the end

    I bought a used crossmember. Turns out it's bent in about an inch. Plus I forgot to get the bracket for the transfer case.

    Great video Clinton! I like to see your progress. How many hours do think you have into this build now?

    I have a question Clint, or anyone with fair knowledge. I’m collecting parts for sas on my 1st gen 4runner. I’m having a hard time looking for a pocket friendly front 3rd member. I’ve heard i can put a rear 3rd on the front axle housing?

    • @DirtGarage
      @DirtGarage  2 місяці тому +1

      Yup. I've only ever had rears in the front housing. Any Toyota 8" fits. Including elocker 3rd with slight modification.

    Loved the terminology you used throughout the video. Made me laugh. How much does UA-cam pay you? I’ve been thinking of starting an automotive painting channel.

      I love auto painting. Let's see a channel . There's not very many good ones! The one that I watch is Robbie Layton! I love the process. Blow tack and static! Mixing, prime, sanding, the whole 9 yards! I don't have a shop or anything close to that. I don't even drive! I just love vehicles! All kinds!

      @@SamIam420 how old are you? I paint boats but I want to move to cars. I live in a small town so I took the opportunity I had now I might move somewhere bigger to work at a body shop. That’s a channel I haven’t heard of but thank you for sharing my favorite is Kandyman.

    id still rather buy the much cheaper rock auto part and have to modify it to fit a bit, my time isnt worth so much that its not easily worth doing

    • @DirtGarage
      @DirtGarage  3 місяці тому +1

      Me usually too. But just looking at the quality difference and the time to modify. I wouldn't suggest it on this specific part
