I see them as serving 2 different functions. I have the PD tech pouch and love it but I stopped using it daily within a week because it's just too big and bulky. Aer's slim pouch looks perfect to throw in my backpack for everyday, and it's main advantage over my current similarly-sized pouches is that it stands up so I can work out of it on my desk). But when i travel and need things like plug adapters, an extension cord, my firestick, etc, I go straight to the PD tech pouch.
@@ThexImperfectionist same here. I keep the PD at home and use something smaller on the go. But for the EDC maniac in me, I tend to carry a lot of “What if I need this” crap and I’ve never once needed them ever.
Hello, Rob. We suggest going with the Aer City Sling if you won't be carrying any backpacks with you. This will fit most of your everyday essentials in its multiple pockets. Also, you can stow away the sling strap if you want to use this bag as a storage kit. Hope that helps. Cheers!
These pouches look like they could be great as a dopp kit (since it free-stands and can be hung up on a slight angle). You didn't happen to verify the weight of them? I'm wondering if the grey version is a bit lighter than the ballistic, website has them all at 0.3lbs.
I agree! Definitely has the versatility to be used as a dopp kit. Unfortunately no - we didn't weigh them separately but the ballistic nylon variants would definitely weight slightly more than the polyester. Hope that helps - Ed

Hi there! Yes it can as this gear is intended for tech essentials, just be conscious of what you're storing on the mesh pocket sides, less bulky items means more space in the middle compartment.
Yes it can as the the FUJIFILM X100V measures 128x74.8x53.3mm, whereas the item Aer Slim Pouch had a dimension of 23x13x5 cm. Just be conscious of what you're storing on the internal mesh pocket sides- less item stored, means more space in the main compartment

Pretty similar look and organization to their day sling 2 really. Like it though, and it stands straight up on the desk, nice feature.

The PD Tech Pouch is just way too bulky and I prefer something like AER Slim Pouch or Bellroy Standing Pouch.
