Kate I can't tell you how amazing this video was. It shows women actually traveling and trying to pack light. You knocked it out of the park and I can't wait to see more from you. It is always so hard watching guys pack out bags for one bag travel. The most they pack is deodorant and a razer. I never understand it and always assume someone on there trip has some lotion or chapstick that they are borrowing.
I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed the video about packing for one bag travel! Packing light can be challenging, but it's a great way to simplify your travel experience and avoid lugging around heavy suitcases. While it's true that some people may pack lighter than others, it's important to remember that everyone's travel needs and preferences are different. Some people may prioritize practicality and functionality over bringing a lot of personal care items, while others may prefer to pack more luxurious items like skincare products or makeup. In any case, it's always a good idea to plan ahead and make a packing list before your trip, so you can ensure that you have all the essentials you need without overpacking. And if you do forget something, don't worry - chances are, you'll be able to find it at your destination or borrow it from someone else on your trip:)
This video is honestly one of the most helpful (and informative!) I’ve seen yet. I’ve been eyeing off the Aer travel pack 3 and honestly, Kate has sold it. So nice to actually see what it can take in a realistic video - so many videos don’t take into account all the things women need to travel with! Thank you Kate
You're welcome! We're glad to hear that you found the video helpful and informative. It's always great when you come across content that addresses your specific needs and concerns. The Aer travel pack 3 seems to be a promising choice for your travel needs, especially considering how well it showcased its capacity in the video. It's important to have realistic demonstrations that take into account all the items women typically need to travel with. I'm sure many others appreciate Kate's efforts in providing such valuable insights. Happy travels!
I like Kate’s style in doing these videos. I’m over here wondering if I have what it takes to pack a 31l for 4 days and she’s going for a month lol. These videos are really good to see what an actual pack out would look like. The olive color is really nice on that bag.
Just finished packing same Aer 3 for trip to India...fewer clothes but more tech Peak packing cube Same Aer dopp 2 Peak tech pouch w/anker USB 100W charger, powerbank, torch, various cords Blazer for business meetings, casual 👞 Was amazed to see how similar we went about things!
I couldn't agree more. It's smart to look into lighter options like carry-on luggage to avoid putting too much strain on your body as we get older. We really appreciate you taking the time to share your views with us. Cheers!
Excellent run through on minimal packing fr a short travel. Good review. I also usually carry a small sling bag on top of the backpack. I usually carry Bellroy City Pouch Plus (my most fav) or one of their sling bag range eg Lite, Venture or Classic depending on how much stuff I need to carry (Yes… I do have a whole bunch of Bellroy sling bags 😊).
Thank you for your feedback! We're glad you found the run-through on minimal packing for short travel helpful. Carrying a small sling bag on top of your backpack is a great idea to keep essential items easily accessible. The Bellroy City Pouch Plus sounds like a fantastic choice, and it's wonderful that you have a collection of Bellroy sling bags to suit different needs. Having options allows you to adjust your packing based on the amount of stuff you need to carry. Happy travels, and enjoy using your Bellroy bags!😊
I agree with your comment about the benefits of bucket style travel. backpacks. Is the main difference between Aer Travel Pack 3 and Peak Design 45 L travel backpack: Aer more comfortable and maybe more organization. But Peak Design allows you to have a deeper “bucket” so you can pack more bulky items? Is that right?
Yeah you can pack more in the peak design 45 because it's bigger by 10L, but the travel pack 3 at 35L will be smaller and lighter which should not be underestimated.
We're glad to hear that we could help you find the perfect backpack! If you have any more questions or need further assistance, feel free to reach out anytime. Enjoy your new backpack, and happy adventures ahead:)
If you're traveling to a hot climate and you have warm travel clothes that you don't need to pack, there are a few options for what to do with them: Wear them on the plane: If you're flying to your destination, consider wearing your warm travel clothes on the plane. This will save space in your luggage and keep you comfortable on the flight, which can sometimes be chilly. Leave them in your accommodation: If you're staying in a hotel or rental accommodation, you can leave your warm travel clothes in your room. If you're traveling with a group, you may be able to share a closet or dresser with others to save space. Rent a storage locker: If you'll be traveling for an extended period and don't want to carry your warm clothes with you, consider renting a storage locker at a train station, bus station, or airport. This can be a convenient option if you'll be returning to the same location later in your trip. Donate or discard them: If you have warm travel clothes that you no longer need or want, consider donating them to a local charity or discarding them responsibly. This can be a good way to lighten your load and give back to the community at the same time.
Nice video . But do you know what can work better with a peak design cubes? A peak design backpack. That said I find the aer travel bag solutions being too small for me.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Indeed, pairing Peak Design cubes with a Peak Design backpack can offer optimal compatibility and functionality. It's essential to find the right fit for your needs, and if the Aer travel bag solutions are too small for you, exploring other options that better suit your requirements is key. If you have any further questions or need assistance in finding the perfect bag for your needs, feel free to reach out. We're here to help!
One thing I've always wondered about videos like this is the total weight of the bag. If I'm not mistaken 10kg is the max for carry on excluding laptop? If anyone can clarify this curiosity of mine please do so. Thanks
Some airlines don't include the laptop weight, some do. Please check with your airlines for their policies. The weight of the bag is available via the links in the description.
This is the Travel Pack 3 regular size right? I’m thinking about getting the small TP3 as i dont travel for long periods of time and im sure the regular will have way more room than needed but I go back and forth with the “what if I need more space”. Any suggestions??
Hey there! Yes, this is the 35L version. Go with the smaller 28L if you're all about packing light and going on shorter trips. It's smaller but still spacious enough to accommodate clothing, toiletries, and even a laptop or tablet. On the other hand, if you tend to have the habit of overpacking, the 35L version might be a better fit for you. Please take the time to think about what would work best for you. Cheers!

The Aer Travel Pack 3 is a backpack designed for travel and everyday use, and it does have some compartments that can hold shoes or sandals. The main compartment of the bag has a capacity of 33 liters, which is quite spacious, and can hold a pair of shoes or sandals, depending on their size. There is also a ventilated shoe compartment located at the bottom of the bag that can hold a pair of shoes separately from the rest of your belongings, keeping them clean and fresh. Additionally, the Aer Travel Pack 3 has a front organizer compartment with various pockets that can be used to store small items such as keys, phone, wallet, and other essentials. It also has a separate laptop compartment that can accommodate laptops up to 15.6 inches in size. Overall, while the Aer Travel Pack 3 is not specifically designed for carrying shoes or sandals, it does have compartments that can accommodate them. However, it's worth noting that the amount of space available for shoes or sandals will depend on their size and shape.
Hello, Brigitta! This Aer Travel Pack 3 35L is slightly larger than the usual sizes for under-seat space so it's best to check the size regulations of your airline prior to your flight. Cheers!
