Since first listening to it, it blew my mind and I learned it by ear. The guitar essentially just plays one riff, and creates such a dense atmosphere. I think this is the fastest we could enjoy tool music since an album launch.
Can you guess the speed? It starts and ends with 79 BPM.
Tone: I am using a Boss GT 100 (rectifier dual amp sim) at around 50% gain and with delay.

very good job! I'm playing this just what my ears have catch and your version sounds perfect. I love that dissonance b11-g14 and you nailed it! :) seen come cover which was missing that - just played the notes on the same string. many gyus focus just at correct notes to be played but often miss those details.
