What if there was a game expansion in which someone steals the Thunderbird remains relic & revives it with fossil resurrection tech. But instead of the massive powerful super legendary, it’s a little electric flying bird. It’s the thunderbirds first form. You then run around the region (doing something) to restore the baby Thunderbird as you bond with them. As you play it evolves twice, to an almost final form, & once you have finished (doing something) it mega evolves into its TRUE form. You have a heartfelt moment with your close friend that you raised before they fly away to fulfill their legendary duties. But before you leave, you notice something on the ground. A single egg. Now you can raise one to keep on your team that, in its final evolution, can mega evolve into its final form for battles. Feel free not to use this, it was just an idea that I had after realizing that whole thing of possibly resurrecting the Thunderbird. Edit: maybe you even need to have maxed out friendship for each evolution. Something to make it more unique on top of (doing something) like collecting shards.
May be some kind of Zygard plot (or, omega Rogon), where you need to gather several pieces of the Thunderbird accross the glob to revive it in its fullest ?
I really like how the player helps out the younger character Jay. I think it's cute that an older but young adult is helping a kid and that it is used to teach the player how to do certain tasks. @Xman34 yeah, rivals that are kind just make you feel bad. Because they’re just tryna be your friend, but you just obliterate them constantly. Rivals should be total jerks again, I need someone that I can hate and don’t have to feel bad when I beat them.

I really like the idea of getting an assistant as the champion, and that she seems to follow you around during all the post-game. One of the things I hope gets implemented in the post-game is to be capable to talk with Lucy, and that she says something different depending of the location (like the assistants in the Paper Mario Games or in Bug Fables), maybe giving some world-building info about the Towns, or if some new or rare Pokemon are available in a route, and definitly her backstory (or why she has a musical motif). EDIT: Furthering the idea (only if it is posible and if it doesn't cause problems to the programmers involve in the fangame), but it would be cool if Lucy also was involved with some of the usual post-game functions, so if you talk to her, a menu opens with the option to talk to help but also to schedulle rematches with gym leaders, notify you about pokemon migrations, and things like that.
That is a really nice idea. Since she was the bad guy assistant, I thought she maybe was evil too, but no just doing her job. And since she even oposses to the villians in the post-game, maybe she can even help us in a double battle!
The notes to replace the pokedex should have really bad pictures on the pages, like, an image of an Eevee from behind, or a Mudkip that's completely submerged and you can only see it's silhouette, or a Rattatta halfway hidden by tall grass.
Easy way to give both parties what they want! Once you beat the space whale, it loses the red on its face and returns to its original calm form. It goes back through the wormhole, and after talking to the professors again, you can find the wormhole if you return to that original location where you fought the whale. You can go through the wormhole to fight 4 more new ultrabeast style lokemon, and then you can re-fight the whale and catch it. Makes it optional, but also makes it so it’s not handed to you and you have to find it on your own.
Or give the space whale the eternal max eternatus form while the normal space whale is available but this apocalyptic form with parasite is unobtianiable
I really like the parallels between Fir and Bezzle with the whole "Sometimes you have to bend your morals a bit. You wouldn't understand at your age" thing.

1:01:13 Here’s a suggestion: it gives you an egg that takes a very long time to hatch, and it hatches into a prevo and evolves extremely late (75-85) to Edram-Odai.

I had an interesting idea for the end boss, if your team includes an orbtholad it can partially counter the menu depending on your friendship level with you. High friendship has it pop out of it's pokeball and counters the move scramble, items and Pokémon names are still affected, low but positive friendship has it do one move before endram-odai attacks and commands to leave and it does with a scar, leading you to need to track it down to recatch it, and if it the friendship is negative it leave the ball and randomizes the move with their names still scrambles. Either way you at best lose a Pokémon after one hit, and the other effects take the orbtholad off your team for the fight at the least.

So basically Amaze-all is a Cthulhu-owned pokéAmazon that it trying to activate Metal Gear B as a side project, Wren is the courier from Fallout New Vegas, and the finale is an Sons of Liberty-level fourth wall break
The most unrealistic aspect of this whole thing is the idea of a big company actually perfecting a device, instead of making a "new and ultra upgraded" version every year or two
Yeah, you can tell that's why he made "Lark" the one working for Amaze-all, because those dialogue lines take on a whole other meaning when being asked by "Wren"
I absolutely love that after becoming champion you get an assistant Also oh my god, the idea of your entire menu and game HUD getting messed up is incredible, it almost reminds of Pokémon H, a romhack where every letter and Pokémon sprite is just H so that you have to just kind of guess what each Pokémon and move is
I think you should include a scene after the Amaze-All raid where Lark runs into Professor Fir and apologizes for stealing Birbwhirl. It's kind of like something that happens in Heartgold and Soulsilver except you actually get to see the scene. Lark stole a rare starter pokemon so there should be some kind of resolution. I really like how there isn't a traditional bad guy team. Y'know, the lot that goes "Oi gimme ur mon!" only to get their butts handed to them shortly after, Bezzle isn't even the typical bad guy. At a first glance he gives off massive Giovanni vibes but after talking to him, he just wants to make the world better but was misguided by the very data he collected, a calculative man that had good intentions but was unable to see past the numbers at the time, which is why he turned himself in after finally realizing nobody can play Arceus. And I have a feeling that the Orbtholod was beginning to mind jack Bezzle which is why he became brash towards the player after the box legendaries were caught by him, heck, that Orbtholod seems to have been influencing his decisions from the start of the game!
My son has listened to this video a billion times by now it feels. He really loves it. At first I was only half paying attention with my 'parent sensors' on alert, but as I heard it again and again (as well as some of the other videos on the reigon), I realized that the whole thing is brilliant. I love how much attention to detail there is, how well thought out it is, how it follows a lot of the Pokémon game expectations, while playing with a few of them for fun and to keep things fresh. As someone born and raised in BC, Canada, I loved the few references to Vancouver because a lot of times Canada gets overlooked since it's pretty much equated with the US in most things. The personal passion for the project is evident and shows through the narrative that we see. Tom feels like such a perfect villain for this area and the way the plot is woven into the overlay of the real areas of the world are incredibly charming.
I love almost everything except the whole portal in the sky bit at the end. It just seems like that concept has been done a lot. You said that the top of the mountain would be either a hot spring or a frozen lake right? So why not have the souls turn these into giant, dark mirrors and have the 4 horsemen type Pokemon appear as reflections on the surface and then step out into the main game's dimension? It would also be pretty epic to see Endram-Odai breach out of the lake. I don't know, just a thought.
Even better, you walk up and touch the mirror, and you are trapped in the mirror on the other side, forced to fight all 4. Your reflection is stuck in the real world though, so its like you split

I know! This takes the premise of an ultimate final boss in a Pokemon game to a whole new level. The energy that your opponent is giving off is too intense for you to think straight. You can barely get a hold of yourself to give orders to your team, let alone even stay conscious! Everything around you feels like an agonizing blur. You can't see your Pokemon clearly, can't remember their moves, you can hardly even pronounce their names at all! Your mind is failing you, but your heart still stays strong despite everything. At this point, you've grown with them so much that they can understand your feelings as you understand theirs. It's the ultimate test of the trust you have in your Pokemon, an ideology that the franchise has always been known for.

Theory: the four cataclysm Pokémon are the Lockémon equivalent of the Four Horsemen of the apocalypse. In all seriousness, though, this is a *fantastic* Region concept with an incredible story. That little pinch of H.P. Lovecraft at the end was awesome.
The story certainly has potential, but it does require some minor tweaks to set it out in a more logical format. As of what tweaks, I don't quite know, but I do feel the story is a tad too jittery in its current state. But weldone to the team so far, and hopefully the final result will hit the nail on the head.
The final boss could use wingdings instead of being glitched, that way, if you know how, you can still translate it, and it would probably look coolest in all caps
I would really like to see, that basically, you aren't powerful enough as a player to beat the endboss. So you faint and the endboss wants to shoot a last attack on you, but Lark jumps out of nowhere in the way and saves you, dying in the process. And then his pudet (it's called like that, right? His dog pokemon) comes out of the pokeball and evolves (considering its inspiration/back story ). And you catch it as a last thing to remember Lark. (but, maybe to dark for Pokemon) 😉 Edit: Jesus Christ, 12 likes!
I'd love to see that.
But make it extra difficult, every time it evolves it’s friendship resets and you have to do it all again
Oh have it have a event where you can summon Groudon and Kyogre if you have it maxed out
May be some kind of Zygard plot (or, omega Rogon), where you need to gather several pieces of the Thunderbird accross the glob to revive it in its fullest ?

I really like the idea of getting an assistant as the champion, and that she seems to follow you around during all the post-game.
One of the things I hope gets implemented in the post-game is to be capable to talk with Lucy, and that she says something different depending of the location (like the assistants in the Paper Mario Games or in Bug Fables), maybe giving some world-building info about the Towns, or if some new or rare Pokemon are available in a route, and definitly her backstory (or why she has a musical motif).
EDIT: Furthering the idea (only if it is posible and if it doesn't cause problems to the programmers involve in the fangame), but it would be cool if Lucy also was involved with some of the usual post-game functions, so if you talk to her, a menu opens with the option to talk to help but also to schedulle rematches with gym leaders, notify you about pokemon migrations, and things like that.
smart idea! 👌😁👍
Wonderful
maybe after that ordel she tells you a myth related to meloeta and you can find it if you complete a side quest?!
That is a really nice idea. Since she was the bad guy assistant, I thought she maybe was evil too, but no just doing her job. And since she even oposses to the villians in the post-game, maybe she can even help us in a double battle!
It'd be cool to see her use a team of Sound based pokemon

Easy way to give both parties what they want! Once you beat the space whale, it loses the red on its face and returns to its original calm form. It goes back through the wormhole, and after talking to the professors again, you can find the wormhole if you return to that original location where you fought the whale. You can go through the wormhole to fight 4 more new ultrabeast style lokemon, and then you can re-fight the whale and catch it. Makes it optional, but also makes it so it’s not handed to you and you have to find it on your own.
And they could make the space whale and other 4 pokemon level 100
Or give the space whale the eternal max eternatus form while the normal space whale is available but this apocalyptic form with parasite is unobtianiable

And I have a feeling that the Orbtholod was beginning to mind jack Bezzle which is why he became brash towards the player after the box legendaries were caught by him, heck, that Orbtholod seems to have been influencing his decisions from the start of the game!

I guess having pairs with elements that fit the other more than themselves is on brand for Pokémon. Golduck being psychic while and Psyduck is golden, venonat resembling butterfree more than its prevos, etc
Two things. One, good plot. Two, you have inspired me to make my own game: pokemon hero and destruction. P.S. region is called origic region, which is shaped like a pokeball
Ooh, that sounds interesting, love to hear some progress
Cool, mine fakemon region is the khaos region
Not as original as yours though
This has also been a massive inspiration for me aswell, love making regions or adding to regions, its just so lovely and cool!

OMG WARRIOR CATS YES! Warriors is my favourite book of all time! I LOVE Squrrielflight, Tree, and Spiderleg (yes you heard me right Spiderleg) how about you? Also did you hear about the new Arc coming out? I just came from a Moonkitti and Akira video about it
@@pikathemimikyu6655 I don’t really have a favourite character but I usually say my favourite is Crowfeather.
@@amethyst_the_rainwing oh hey another Warrior fan on a Pokémon channel! (And by the looks of it a Wings of Fire fan too). I like Crowfeather alot, I hope Harestar dies soon so he can become leader already! But seeing how long Mistystar has lived Im not really sure anymore..l

A fight like this is a true challenge to the bonds you've made with your Pokemon, if you know them well enough to know what order they are in your team and how you're arranged their movesets, even while the battle interface is incomprehensible gibberish! At this point, you've grown with them so much that they can understand your feelings as you understand theirs. It's the ultimate test of the trust you have in your Pokemon, an ideology that the franchise has always been known for.
and a very messy and hard one

I like how it ultimately just became Thunderbird versus Whale, very good use of that story to guide your region. Sad we never got to see what the actual Thunderbird looked like (a whole original dragon situation) but oh well. Also I both love and am thoroughly creeped out by the Heaven’s Gate vibes the end gives off with people opening the “Gate”, absolutely chilling.
I imagine wicoot standing on the box legendaried mountain just yelling that “we have issues to solve and we need to solve them NOW”
except its all coot coot coot coot coooot
My canon for wicoot is that the thunder bird blessed a mightyena or other dog-mon to resolve the conflicts between the legendarys so it wouldn’t have to wake up and deal with them
It just wants five. Freaking. Decades. To sleep
I frickin' lost it at, "BUT OUR EYES LOCKED, WE HAVE TO BATTLE!!"

I love how the player character is just some random professor's assistant who casually becomes the Pokémon league champion between running errands for their boss.
I mean it makes more sense than a 10 year old kid becoming the champion, but it's still hilarious.
Lol, the sas in his voice when mentioning Lucy as your assistant, he knows exactly the feelings some get from her design. 😂
I was thinking that
This is genuinely the coolest story concept I’ve ever seen for a pokemon fangame. I really hope it comes to fruition.
Amaze-All: *Use Mainly Steel Types*
Wren with Tarmendoa: "Are you really in charge here?"
Thought the same. And many of the snake tamers will rule over Amaze-None with relitive ease
*Laughs in Kaskadian Concldurr
I Will choose Tarmendoa

Damn as someone aspiring to be a game developer this is perfect.
I really thought that the four cataclysm pokémon were going to have names based on each horseman

The final boss could use wingdings instead of being glitched, that way, if you know how, you can still translate it, and it would probably look coolest in all caps
But then a random brownish-orange haired dude would start theorizing on why Lark is actually Lucas
When the seasons go wrong
We need help from Wicoot
We must call him when the time is right
With a weird little flute
THATS A RECORDER GODAMMIT
I would really like to see, that basically, you aren't powerful enough as a player to beat the endboss. So you faint and the endboss wants to shoot a last attack on you, but Lark jumps out of nowhere in the way and saves you, dying in the process. And then his pudet (it's called like that, right? His dog pokemon) comes out of the pokeball and evolves (considering its inspiration/back story ). And you catch it as a last thing to remember Lark. (but, maybe to dark for Pokemon) 😉
Edit: Jesus Christ, 12 likes! I know, it's NOTHING compared to the others, but its still probably the most likes I've ever gotten on a comment I'm still proud of today. Thanks!
