Honestly the Pokemon Ranger games should have gotten more love. They were a ton of fun both writing and gameplay wise and they were a great example of how the spin off games that tend to try odd concepts tend to be some of the best in the franchise.
Pokemon conquest was pretty good too!

And then a random Team Dim Sun goon shows up out of nowhere and calls him out for his shit and then just storms off without doing anything even remotely evil. Best villain team in Pokemon.

Watched your video about a year ago and bought the game. I got sick and never finished it but I recently found my 3ds and started from where I left off. Honestly the BEST game I’ve ever played. Team dim sun has the best dialogue in existence and that moment with the girls always saying “ugh I’m leaving!! But not because you beat my Pokémon but because my makeup is running!! I have to fix my makeup!” It’s so funny

My touchscreen on my 3DS got so bad literally the entire right side doesn't even work. Every touck is so far to the left that you can't play anything that could softlock you because you can't touch one tiny spot. Still hasn't diminished my love for the series.
My DS isn't that good anymore and on my 3DS the screen is weird, like I for example the circle isn't exactly where I put my stylus, sometimes it's worse sometimes it's ok. Might buy a 2DS

I just recently played ranger 1 and 2 for the first time an had a great time! Although I felt like the poke powers didn't have much weight in the 2nd game anymore since you could easily catch everything with multiple loops. Catching everything in one loop, like you have to do in the first game, is way harder and imo much more fun. I "died" many times in the first game while not a single time in the 2nd.

i mean at the time i kinda hated it because the gameplay wasn't like "pokemon games" that i knew
now i wanna play it once more, i dedicated way too much time into the game and reached the final boss and because i couldn't beat it my sister helped me and beat the boss for me. i remember getting kinda sad because i didn't beat it myself

I loved the ranger series its great to be reminded they existed since they´re pretty much dead which is a shame because I bought all of them, hopefully they´ll return along with pokemon conquest which I always found interesting at least just this time with something that wont break your touch screen for the amount of pressure and the billions of circles you had to draw which left it looking like the drawing book of mentally broke down person from a horror game.

I want to point out I played this game as a kid and it took me for ever to finish but honestly one of the best Pokémon games. My odd ds screen has circles scratched in to it because of this game but it was worth the fun times and over all a 10 out of 10 game

Pokemon ranger is the one game series I have the most nostalgia for, mainly due to my first childhood friend introducing it to me and letting me borrow his copy of shadows of almia and then I played guardian signs and it was my favorite game. I completed the whole thing and filled the Pokedex out. I got around to playing the first one eventually but I remember playing them and talking to my friend about it all the time.
