Like yeah, our main problem is we're forgettable and small, but that really doesn't matter so much when you're 3 hours drive from NYC, 2 hours drive from D.C., few hours drive for Norfolk VA, and maybe right around the corner from Philedelphia depending how close you are to Wilmington. Probably our main downside is needing a car to get around but outside of that, it's like living close enough to make a day trip to more prominent places but living far enough away that you get peace and quiet and clean air out in the farmland and beaches. ...And there's the no sales tax of course.

As a South Carolinian myself, while I personally don't hold on to our State's "past", I do like your choice of Slowbro, simply because of it's easy-going nature, and I do find it easy to zone out while relaxing in the area that I live.
As the resident Wyomingite, I can confirm that this is only partially true. We are the fiftieth state because we only have fifty people. The city with the lowest population is a population of ONE.
Gimmighoul also fits Pennsylvania well because it's one of only three states that imposes a post-mortem will tax. Something I'm surprised you didn't mention, but it still fits nonetheless.
As someone from Michigan I would like to explain how we got the Upper Peninsula. To make a long story short the US gave it to us so we wouldn’t go to war with Ohio over Toledo, yes this actually happened. Also I’m surprised you didn’t bring up our weather.

As a rare Utahan that isn`t part of the collective 90% Mormon hive-mentality that is making money-honey for the Bewear of the LDS church, I can mostly agree with the assessment. However, behind the scenes there is a slow-going spiritual war going on here where some worker-bees occasionally break free of the Borg hivemind and either go off into their lonesome atheism or join a Baptist denomination as they explore learning about God on a more personal level with other individuals. There are many "spiritual captives" in this state, and it can take a while for those under the bear`s influence to find a spiritual safe haven if/when they leave.

I was waiting for Lockstin to give my homestate, Maryland, a roasting based on bad stuff over there. I was not expecting our shape and flag to be roasted, but thinking about it and looking at them, it makes sense.
As someone from Louisiana, our state had so much great potential to be one of the best to live in. We got the culture, the great food, and overall New Orleans (until 2020) was fun to visit. Unfortunately due to our absolutely horrible corrupt government which roots back to whenever the French and Spanish was there, we are now suffering from the fact our Governors don't care about us and rather use the oil money to fund their useless projects that never go anywhere. This is also why our roads, and pollution is so bad in the state. And anywhere that has a ton of trees we will hide in because we are overheating everyday from the absolutely torturous heat that prevents us from exercising until October comes back. I wish you would've roasted us more lmao.
Oh yes, the great food in Louisiana. Back in the summer of 2018, I was part of a large school trip that went to New Orleans. One of the students was vegan. At least one place that we went to, the "vegan" option had BUTTER in it. Now, as someone who is not vegan, I don't have a problem with butter, but I do have a problem with it being served in something specifically labeled as THE vegan option. Also, stop pretending that gumbo actually tastes good; that stuff is gross (and of COURSE, the butter incident was at the gumbo place which does not improve my opinion of the stuff). Maybe you people just think it tastes good because that's what you grew up with. As someone who grew up in the Midwest, gumbo isn't good food. Another restaurant managed to ruin PASTA by putting way too much of something that I hope was salt on it. How do you manage to ruin PASTA? In terms of food, the best part of that trip was the restaurant that we went to for diner on the first day of travel before we even reached Louisiana.

As a South Carolinian, the whole “never letting go” is hands down the defining trait of this state. We have one of the most heated college football rivalries that no one outside the state cares about, we hang on to terrible politicians that no one seems to like because we’re afraid of change, and there are soooo many confederate flags. Heck, I remember in grade school when we learned about the start of the civil war, we were taught that it was cool that cadets from the Citidel( our military academy) were probably one of the first troops to fire on fort.

Like yeah, our main problem is we're forgettable and small, but that really doesn't matter so much when you're 3 hours drive from NYC, 2 hours drive from D.C., few hours drive for Norfolk VA, and maybe right around the corner from Philedelphia depending how close you are to Wilmington. Probably our main downside is needing a car to get around but outside of that, it's like living close enough to make a day trip to more prominent places but living far enough away that you get peace and quiet and clean air out in the farmland and beaches. ...And there's the no sales tax of course.

As a rare Utahan that isn`t part of the collective 90% Mormon hive-mentality that is making money-honey for the Bewear of the LDS church, I can mostly agree with the assessment. However, behind the scenes there is a slow-going spiritual war going on here where some worker-bees occasionally break free of the Borg hivemind and either go off into their lonesome atheism or join a Baptist denomination as they explore learning about God on a more personal level with other individuals. There are many "spiritual captives" in this state, and it can take a while for those under the bear`s influence to find a spiritual safe haven if/when they leave.

Minnesota is getting a new flag and I just had a really funny idea for a flag: Maryland but with white and black quarters. Better than Just Duluth's Flag (tm).
Additionally this would actual have symbolism, specifically as a symbol for native Dakota people and that our state also starts with an M. Again, this has more actual symbolism than Just Duluths Flag (tm).
Having lived in Texas, Indiana, Illinois, The Dakotas, Georgia, Carolinas, and Nevada, I have to agree with all that was said about those states. Very apt description. I want to see more of this where you just roast states. Maybe you could try countries?

As someone from Louisiana, our state had so much great potential to be one of the best to live in. We got the culture, the great food, and overall New Orleans (until 2020) was fun to visit. Unfortunately due to our absolutely horrible corrupt government which roots back to whenever the French and Spanish was there, we are now suffering from the fact our Governors don't care about us and rather use the oil money to fund their useless projects that never go anywhere. This is also why our roads, and pollution is so bad in the state. And anywhere that has a ton of trees we will hide in because we are overheating everyday from the absolutely torturous heat that prevents us from exercising until October comes back. I wish you would've roasted us more lmao.

Oh yes, the great food in Louisiana. Back in the summer of 2018, I was part of a large school trip that went to New Orleans. One of the students was vegan. At least one place that we went to, the "vegan" option had BUTTER in it. Now, as someone who is not vegan, I don't have a problem with butter, but I do have a problem with it being served in something specifically labeled as THE vegan option. Also, stop pretending that gumbo actually tastes good; that stuff is gross (and of COURSE, the butter incident was at the gumbo place which does not improve my opinion of the stuff). Maybe you people just think it tastes good because that's what you grew up with. As someone who grew up in the Midwest, gumbo isn't good food. Another restaurant managed to ruin PASTA by putting way too much of something that I hope was salt on it. How do you manage to ruin PASTA? In terms of food, the best part of that trip was the restaurant that we went to for diner on the first day of travel before we even reached Louisiana.

As a South Carolinian, the whole “never letting go” is hands down the defining trait of this state. We have one of the most heated college football rivalries that no one outside the state cares about, we hang on to terrible politicians that no one seems to like because we’re afraid of change, and there are soooo many confederate flags. Heck, I remember in grade school when we learned about the start of the civil war, we were taught that it was cool that cadets from the Citidel( our military academy) were probably one of the first troops to fire on fort.
