Thank you for the helpful videos and tons of great ideas. Putting together a custom costume that takes a little from every era at this point. Appreciate ya!
Those are hammer pants bro....Hammer Time!! lol
Excellent! Having a friend help suit up is nice. I’m almost complete with my proto fett. Made a quick video showing all my parts so far.
Looks great. I got a vest for my post-sarlacc Boba. It is really good quality, also I had to add several darts to fit it perfectly. They even included an extension piece, which was a good thing. The rest of my soft kit, I got some Ninja Hakama pants (tight calves), which I modded (felt a bit bad about changing the closures to something simpler), made the black shirt and the kama (?) myself. I think I got through 3 pairs of pants until I found the correct ones. Yours look really great though. I have all plates so far, but really have no clue how to mount the back plate. I know it is not possible to permanently fix it to the vest, but also cannot fix it to the collar plate. Must find something different...
Your kit is sick! Beautiful!! And that flak vest and undershirt is NICE!!
I've been working on a DIY halloween Boba costume. I'm actually going for a pre ANH (Prime Fett) before his encounter with Cad Bane in which his armor and helmet are new (Book of Boba style) but the soft parts from the OT.
Wow dude those look amazing.
Amazing armor!!! Well done!
Really good job at mounting it please can you make a better perfect steel helmet or aluminium helmet with his rangefinder
You should use a rawhide or nylon headed mallet and not a clawed hammer. It will make your hole punch last longer. Also a lead plate instead of a wood board as it's softer and when you have used it so much that there's no longer a place that is flat you can simply remelt the lead in a pot, disclaimer don't use a good pot and do NOT use the pot for anything else, and wait for it to cool back down and you can turn the pot over to get the plate out. I have been using the same plate for over 20 years now. Mine is about 2 inches thick and is formed in a 9 inch pot. I used recycled tire weights. If you go to a tire repair shop they usually have buckets full of used weights and most places will give you the weights for free. Just be careful you only use the lead ones break them in half if you can or partially cut them and break them the rest of the way. The led ones will have a large crystalline structure to them and will be easy to break in half. Also using a knife to cut them is a way to check if they are lead or not.
Would be nice to see Deathwatch full costume build from the last season on the Mandalorian. I saw you did the helmet on another video but didn't see a video of a full build.
🤙👍✊👊🙌
Awesome stuff!!
Looks great!!
How did you do the chest light?
how did you attach the bolt/screw onto the armor plates? I have an idea where ill probably use epoxy but i figured id check
Looks awesome
Out of curiosity what size was the hole punched used as well as the size of the washers and screws? Helping out a friend and really liked this idea over the chicago screws.
Would you be able to do the new back plate from the show? Very interested to see your take on it.
How is you mobilty on the chest plates ? I can't seem to get mine to look right and allow a decent mobility
I'm very surprised by the shape of the pants. It definitely makes sense if they're modified Tattooine robes to keep you cool in the desert, though.
yeah bobas pants are very baggy in season 2 of mando but once he goes to jabbas palace in the book of boba he wears a black flightsuit similar to the iconic white one
Im new to the cosplay seen, is there other ways attach the plates to the vest?
Yeah you can use a velcro option where you need sew the velcro pieces to the vest.
It may help out zipping up if you loop a strap on the zipper just like dive suits have.
Yeah absolutely. Should make it so much easier to get in and out if it.
Hello my name is kevin and I'm from Colchester Essex England and I've made my boba fett foam armor costume
Really good job can you please make a steel helmet
Finallyyyyyyy
Didnt they go out of business for ripping people off? Theres a lot of info on rpf and the dented helmet.
I thought zippers went against the Mandalorian costume rules, why not velcro like the Mando costume?
Because zipper was used in show costume as well. It’s not visible once you have jetpack on 😉
man you got that for free?!
Yea unfortunately Fett Armory is a no go for me. Luckily i received my paypal refund. Many in the community have been burned by him.
Aren't you a little short to be a bounty hunter?
Not a fan of Boba in a dress but the armor is cool.
Fettarmory = the worst
Great videos, always a pleasure watching your stuff. Unfortunately since I don’t have a popular channel so Fett Armory does not care about my satisfaction. Their customer service is absolutely terrible. I received one good email apologizing and promising to be more responsive but after that it’s been weeks since I received a response. I also paid $60 extra for expedited shipping which doesn’t really mean anything to the seller. having spent $340. The quality of service is absolutely terrible. To the point where I’m not even sure, I will be receiving my item at all at this point. calling the number provided only got me in touch with someone in Slovakia, which rudely hung up as soon as they heard the English language and when I called back they hung up again after the third time they blocked my number so I couldn’t call in which is ridiculous. that makes me think no one there can speak English yet they’re marketing to buyers here in the US and abroad. If you could, please help me out since you seem to have a good line of communication with them I’d really appreciate it. You did a wonderful job at advertising their stuff and is unfortunate to see the seller hold up their end.
I've had a terrible experience with Fett Armory as well. I played an order and never received it. I've sent multiple messages on Instagram and he has read the messages but never responded.
Same here been waiting for over a year.
I’ve waited close to a year. I reached out making sure they got my measurements and they said they did aaaaaaaaaaaand 8 months later not a word… Now I can’t even find their site to contact them so I feel like I basically threw my money in the trash can.
