Excellent! Having a friend help suit up is nice. I’m almost complete with my proto fett. Made a quick video showing all my parts so far.
Your kit is sick! Beautiful!! And that flak vest and undershirt is NICE!!
Amazing armor!!! Well done!
Looks great. I got a vest for my post-sarlacc Boba. It is really good quality, also I had to add several darts to fit it perfectly. They even included an extension piece, which was a good thing. The rest of my soft kit, I got some Ninja Hakama pants (tight calves), which I modded (felt a bit bad about changing the closures to something simpler), made the black shirt and the kama (?) myself. I think I got through 3 pairs of pants until I found the correct ones. Yours look really great though. I have all plates so far, but really have no clue how to mount the back plate. I know it is not possible to permanently fix it to the vest, but also cannot fix it to the collar plate. Must find something different...
Wow dude those look amazing.
Looks awesome
I've been working on a DIY halloween Boba costume. I'm actually going for a pre ANH (Prime Fett) before his encounter with Cad Bane in which his armor and helmet are new (Book of Boba style) but the soft parts from the OT.
🤙👍✊👊🙌
Would be nice to see Deathwatch full costume build from the last season on the Mandalorian. I saw you did the helmet on another video but didn't see a video of a full build.
Out of curiosity what size was the hole punched used as well as the size of the washers and screws? Helping out a friend and really liked this idea over the chicago screws.
Really good job at mounting it please can you make a better perfect steel helmet or aluminium helmet with his rangefinder
You should use a rawhide or nylon headed mallet and not a clawed hammer. It will make your hole punch last longer. Also a lead plate instead of a wood board as it's softer and when you have used it so much that there's no longer a place that is flat you can simply remelt the lead in a pot, disclaimer don't use a good pot and do NOT use the pot for anything else, and wait for it to cool back down and you can turn the pot over to get the plate out. I have been using the same plate for over 20 years now. Mine is about 2 inches thick and is formed in a 9 inch pot. I used recycled tire weights. If you go to a tire repair shop they usually have buckets full of used weights and most places will give you the weights for free. Just be careful you only use the lead ones break them in half if you can or partially cut them and break them the rest of the way. The led ones will have a large crystalline structure to them and will be easy to break in half. Also using a knife to cut them is a way to check if they are lead or not.
I'm very surprised by the shape of the pants. It definitely makes sense if they're modified Tattooine robes to keep you cool in the desert, though.
Would you be able to do the new back plate from the show? Very interested to see your take on it.
Those are hammer pants bro....Hammer Time!! lol
how did you attach the bolt/screw onto the armor plates? I have an idea where ill probably use epoxy but i figured id check
How is you mobilty on the chest plates ? I can't seem to get mine to look right and allow a decent mobility
Finallyyyyyyy
It may help out zipping up if you loop a strap on the zipper just like dive suits have.
How did you do the chest light?
