I love seeing your Galactic Armory work shirt slowly fade over the course of your videos. It really adds to the hobbyist-workman vibes haha
Never thought about that lmao
@@GalacticArmory heyy uh the boba helmet is Missing the head dent
@@IcyDUD3 no it isn't it's just covered with paint
I'm in the process of making my own mandalorian kit, the armor being mainly based on Boba Fett's but with some custom pieces thrown in.
I shall stand proud with my creation on May the 4th thanks to your videos!
So glad you re painted the green man! Wasnt too keen how green it was before but it looks like the perfect shade now! 👌👌
I agree! I'm much happier with it
@@GalacticArmory hi! What colour was it that you re sprayed the helmet with if you don’t mind me asking?
@@matthewkidd5234 tamiya field gray
2:58 Here's a thought. Have you ever thought about adding registration pegs and slots on the prints so that way you can align the pieces better?
Notification squad 🔥
When I get my 3D Printer, This is going to be my first armor set that I do.
Same
Wow your projects are so insane. Keep up the videos, I really enjoy them!
Yes! I am so happy that you are doing this. This looks really really really awesome!
Great work on these plates and the jetpack. I can't wait to see the finished product
I'm currently making my sideshow fives armor and I really hope I can get mine into the 501st. Also, you could possibly put 2mm foam on top to fiberglass after sanding
This could not be better timed as I have gotten a bunch of 3d printed mandalorian armor parts! Can't wait to follow along!
YES, YES, I love this channel, I love it. If you guys are new definitely watch the clone trooper armor and keep watching this guy's videos. Thank you Galactic Armory.
Those square like peices on the top are meant to hold the collar and back plate together
Hi I am watching all the parts of this series! Also I subscribed to your channel!! Thanks again mate!
I can't wait to get started on mine
Painting that is gonna be a blast!
Lovely kit so far. You still need a flak vest, his new one is the same as his ESB/ROTJ vest but dyed black.
Amazing Video love these projects
I start my armor since 2 mounth with your heavy mandalorian files and i only complet to print half ;(
it's so long with the U30 pro !!!
but the result is just insane!
thanks for your work!
Awesome job
Just bought your republic commando model. Been printing the last couple weeks it’s been fun!
Absolutely incredible ❤👍 your artwork is excellent, cheers 🙂👍👍👍👍👍
Looking good!
Looks awesome!!😎. Keep up the good work bud.
yes!! finally the armor!!!!!
I recommend using connecting pins for the larger prints that need to be split up. its super easy in fusion. just split the mesh like normal, then create the pin any size necessary. then tessellate the pin/pins. then combine the two but use cut for both pieces and they align perfectly
Sweet work. Using the area between the clavicle and the armpit as a guide for the position of the chest left and right pieces may help. Can’t wait to see more.
Great I am also making my boba fett armor this is gonna help me a lot
Those four back pieces should be keyed to make aligning less of a ballache.
I need that in my life!
Dude, smiling in every thumbnail with a helmet is nice, thanks for making great videos
diy kit yayayayay your my fave person in world
3 things
1. Can't wait to see this finished
2. Sorry for bigging u on Instagram but thanks for the help
3. I wish I had got your file sooner, would have saved me hrs of printing
Pretty good
Love to see these WIP videos. With your Din Jarin and now Boba Fresh you should join up with the local Mandalorian Mercs.
Great stuff, I just bought your Boba Fett set and plan on making it over the next year. I noticed your Wayne state shirts. I am in Troy MI. If you are local maybe I will show you my finished costume.
Its just so beutiful 😭😭😭
History teacher: Why did those soldiers wear a gas mask?
Galactic Armory: Because the gas smelled really bad.
XD
Great video anyways
Plus as I said before I was making a Mandalorian armor and now that he has the Boba Fett armor I am totally going to buy the 3d files. I have created Inkscape files so if you would like to see them let me know. But it's been taking so long to the point where I haven't even finished them yet. But I pretty much have the basics.
I’ve got all my parts printed and finished. Just waiting on a flak vest before I put it together👍
Where r u getting the vest
Amazing videos and 3D files. Any chance you’d do a video on why you like the CR-10 as your preferred 3D printer and why the specific version of you have linked? (There seem to be a LOT of CR-10 variations).
We so happy you hit 100k subscribe
Im really looking forward to the pants and belt episode. I have no clue what to do for those.
Just bought the armor files for my custom Mando. Potentially doing the Boba fresh build in the future! I just noticed while rewatching the season that his helmet is actually missing the lower part of the rangefinder.
Can't wait to get a 3d printer myself soon so I can try cool stuff like this
Saw you on reddit
Thats sick
You can leave the foil out of the mixing tray. Just let the resin dry and it’ll pop out like a charm.
This is the way
you make this look easier and easier.
Hey man I love your work. Great pieces! Are you going to put a full clone suit on your site? The Mandalorian looks amazing! 👌
This is a definate pog moment
YEEEAAAAHHHH
Holding out hope that he will make a diy kit for armor for a phase 2 clone or phase 1 clone!
Cant wait until my big 3d printer comes in and i can get painting!!
Love the video. When’s the tutorial for the tie pilot helmet?
small tpp, make a small point of quick-drying glue in the middle and e6000 around it
You should definitely invest in a manikin for these kinds of projects! Would make the fittings of pieces much easier for you :) Love your craft by the way.
That looks awesome! I've been trying to learn how to use fusion 360 to design my own custom armor. Would you be willing to do a small tutorial of how you designed them? Obviously I'm not expecting a step by step since you are selling your design.
I am about doing his re-appearance, scratched-up look. So there will be a flak vest to which I can attach the armour pieces to. I considered using a 3D-printer for this, but most of the plates will be made of aluminium. The gauntlets and knee piece will be 3D-printed though. However, I do not want to use any velcro. Regarding the jetpack: I am thinking about somehow turning it into a backpack. No real clue right now, I guess it will be really difficult to take it off quickly - and to get it back on. But maybe I can find a solution. Sadly, on this Boba version, there are no convenient pockets anywhere...
"The armor was my father's now its mine" lol this is awesome I'm gonna get this
Dude that is so fucking SICK!!!!!
If you make a death trooper helmet I’ll buy that thing so fast!
Still working on mine, your files are great, ive got everything done except the jetpack,,, thats next.
I love what you did here! Also, what is that black cloth thing Boba puts over his neck?
I clicked on the shirt link and it looked different would you mind pointing me towards the shirt you used? I'm loving this project
Can you do a clone cadet helmet btw i love your vids they make me happy
Love your videos!!! Also i am making a Mando armor set for myself, i wanted to see what 3d printer u recommened and i dont see anything there......it just brings a amazon page....so lol what is your recommened 3d printer?
I have to say man, I’m learning a lot from you. For the shirt, I definitely don’t want to use anything thin and that light weight. I do wanna know what material they use in Hollywood for the flack vest where the armor pieces go on to. I want something stiffer but not necessarily heavy weight.
I made this from Eva foam. My first cosplay! I won first place in at the birthday party! 😁
Awesome work 👍
Would it be possible to make a scout trooper helmet with protection? Im riding downhill and motorcycle and ive been looking for a helmet like that for ages but havent been able to find one yet
Question with helmets that have accessories/attachments that are printed separately from the main helmet then attached: do you finish the helmet and the pieces then simply glue the smaller pieces to the main helmet after both have been painted? and if so have you ever come across fitment issues since there are additional layers of resin/filler primer/paint that were not present in the raw prints? Thanks for the help!
Love your work do you have a price list for your kits. I haven't pulled the trigger on a printer yet.
After this series can you make a tutorial for the dc 15 blasters?
And this is why I want a 3D printer
This looks great, although those chest pieces feel small. Probably just me though, good job!
i feel like the chest pieces are a bit small on you but this looks awesome!
Are you going to do the pelvis plate also? I bought the files and just realized that it wasn’t there. Other than that though the files are great!
6:57 You have a cat ! 😻🐈👍
does all of this print properly in an ender 3?? if so thats amazing
Did you have to put hardening agent and all that other stuff on the armour
will the armor crack if you accidentally drop it even though you fiberglassed the back of it? also dont the pieces that are on the jetpack that go through the back armor stab you in the back?
But da original masterpiece
Can I ask why it looks like you're putting the E6000 on top of/around the Velcro pieces when you attach them to the shirt? I noticed you did a similar thing in your Mando armor video. I would expect the glue to go on the back of the Velcro pieces and then pressed onto the shirt.
are you going to get the black vest for the costume ??
did you velcro the back plate on or is it just supported by the neck?
Hey I'm currently working on my boba Fett build, I just rewatch your videos to know what to do, but there is the wooden dowel that goes in the jetpack that doesn't come with the set in your shop. Where can I find the wooden dowel with the same size?
Should I get an ender 3 max
When will the next episode come out?
Pog
How much filament did it take to print the whole set?
I buy all you stuff and your prints but your helmet is that hasbros?
What about a Jango fett 3D print file and build?
Do u have no damage boba because for mandalorian mercs u cant have the same screen damage from boba?! Also sizing do u ask for persons sizing ?
I have a question, do you use support while you are printing the Jetpack and when yes, where du you use the support?
I love your files, but i am new with 3D printing and i hope for your advice.
I've purchased your file for the Armor / Blaster/ Helmet and for the V3 Helmet for Boba, is there a specific Resizing for the Helmet that you recommend or does it come a little bit above average size right off the STL? Thanks so much!
is it safe to print the jetpack pieces on an ender-3? in cura it shows the model brushing right up to the side of the build plate and it's stressing me out. Has anyone printed them on an ender-3 and how did it go?
How about an Arcann mask?
@Galactic Armory
What brand 3D printer do you use
From the link
Question: can we get a Commander. Fox helmet in the 3D Files page?
