    It is important to have and show trained professional staff when asking people to invest in these type of projects. Especially in Africa.

    The bridge is called Magufuli Bridge located at Busisi area. It will connect Mwanza Region with the gold rich Geita region and the other North Western regions of Tanzania i.e. Chato and Kagera. It will ease trade between Tanzania and the neighbouring countries of Rwanda, Burundi and Uganda.

    Mark, I acquired interest in your MERGE project, based on how much you promoted and marketed the idea. Now, you are transitioning. Dont you think you owe a little more than just a one line statement that you are redirecting. Whats really going on......?

    • @Par_Avion1
      @Par_Avion1 Рік тому +2

      100% agreed. I think a lot of us were rightly cheering him on, and plenty are still doing so, but to completely cut off any communication about his previous big project “Merge” and not even go into the details of what happened with it after a year of hyping it and hiring staff and telling people to come and offering services and packages on his website (still on there BTW), selling vendor spaces, etc. Now he has the nerve to try and sell people on “eco” lake front properties without even a proper business plan? People are gullible on UA-cam and will spend their life savings on the beliefs of “influencers” who have no project management skills, no “team”, no business plan…just dreams. It’s clear after looking at the documentation he linked to that he has no idea what’s he’s doing. Before anyone invests in his new “transition”, I would suggest waiting to see if he actually builds any units on the property first and provides the needed infrastructure as it’s in the middle of nowhere. Please be careful people; and be SMART.

    This place seems to be most suitable for retirees since younger folks can't live in Tanzania for an extended period of time without obtaining a resident visa. The only way they can get a resident visa is by owning a business or an NGO. The cost of a resident visa for an NGO is reasonable, but not for a business owner.

    Before and Right after Independence of Tanganyika, Kenya and Uganda there were ship and ferry services that plied the entire Lake Victoria circuit connecting Mwanza, Bukoba in Tanganyika , Kendu Bay, Kisumu Kenya and Entebbe, Jinja Uganda but the services collapsed due to political interference mostly from Kenya and Uganda .
    Both Kenya and Uganda struggle with Ethnic Chauvinism and corruption and depending on who runs their governments projects are not seen as national but regional .
    If a project is outside the region of politicians running government it is typically sabotaged unlike Tanganyika where Ethnic Chauvinism is shunned and therefore projects can get national support even from politicians outside a region .
    Because of its strategic location Mwanza has benefited from Tanzania government attention .

      I would have to say that my most and least favorite is Tanzania at the same time that it has given me many good things, it has given me many terrible things as well. But the sweet fruit that the tree bears must first pass through the stinging dung. But I liked each place for different reasons. For example, I was very happy in south africa and it felt good being able to easily interact with people and being around people who seemed more familiar in some ways. Zambia was nice because of someone I knew and Uganda was a wonderful variation of Tanzania but without the language barrier. And malawi was good for its peaceful atmosphere.

You stated and mind you the answer I am saying it is not verbatim, but the probable reason why our people left parts of Africa was we couldn't adapt to local customs and the locals will either will not accept us or try scam game knowing we might not know local prices. And say that the folks understand the language our people are not very adaptable based on where many of have lived or done over here in America. In otherwords most of us are more American than we think. And like I said it going to piss people off because what I said but in truth you said something similar on Kenganda.
