3:25-3:31 “ ...I remember the vision I had for Tanzania and what I wanted to do there and still do and will do.” Voila! Sounding like a leader. Very encouraging and hopeful. We are in the continent to stay, to vacation, to retire, to do business,etc... as do whites Americans, Arabs, Asians, Europeans, Chinese, and others. We can not retreat at the first setback. We can overcome local challenges because they are temporary. They are not fatalities, nor insurmountable calamities. We must be present in the continent in greater numbers like others because we belong here too. Stay the course .

Dont know much about Oshay or whoever you're talking about but i know youre great guy with a positive energy, extremely inteligent and humble, your determination is at top level, your mission in Tanzania and Africa is clear, to bring and help diaspora, but the problem i saw is youre too nice, some people you associate with are just passport bros.... they do have completely different mission from yours, your channel is very interesting to watch because you give so much information about everything but when you have people whose goals is to just mess around with as many women as they can find in these coutries ,that really messes things up

As long as we humans have this idealistic notion that people who look like us and are of our same race are all our people we will continue to set ourselves up for disappointment. We have not yet evolved to the point of realizing that a real human being is built from the inside out and not from the outside in regardless of what race they are or how they look.😔

Boy was I wrong. Being in Africa is not a culture shock but dealing with the people is. And if you and others are saying that most all of Africans are that way then maybe I should try a Caribbean country. We will see, I'll give it at least six more months when my lease will be up.

Yeah part of the problem is that when black diaspora go to Africa they go there as individuals and not as a organized group there on a mission for change. Nobody can do anything by themselves, let alone have the financial backing to support change. But a group of motivated and organized diaspora that put there finances together would make change and have the financial backing to have a seat at the table right next to the Chinese.

O'Shay is good on and off camera. Because he is straight forward and speaks the truth does not deem him a bad person. Do not let people's insecurities poison your mind against anyone. Hey Mark~
Your positive energy is so wonderful and welcoming. I have to agree with you…but you have some people who don’t face or don’t get a hold of their traumas, hurt, pain and brokenness. And what ends up happening is that they wear a mask, and personality changes like the wind. They will use their negativity as a form of control and manipulation and get mad at you for not subscribing to it. Never assuming responsibility for their own demise and use the past traumas and hurt to garner sympathy/attention/neediness.
    Negativity is a mental/emotional/psychological cancer.
One thing I have heard over and over from diaspora who have moved to Africa and citizens of Africa … “Africa Will Chew You Up and Spit You Out “ if you don’t face yourself. People sometimes don’t realize “You Can Be Your Own Worse Enemy”
TMH YAH’s hand is moving and change is coming.. HE’S always in control and HIS set-apart people will no longer be the tail… Be patient.. endure to the end!
Love you Mark.. keep up the great work your doing.

Thanks for sharing your experience, in general Africans nor African Americans are united, instead very competitive. African Americans need to do extensive study on Africa and the particular area that they're going into. The freedom we have in America, the values, the laws they are just not the same. Africa is our homeland but it's also a land that we were forced out of due to division amongst brothers. Now there are even more reasons to be divided in the minds of some people (complexion, hair, money, language etc...). I love that you are trying to make it better.

I really believe you... I feel the same way. Negativity and negative people and enviroment can be fatal in the loong run. By being better orginize and have a plan, will help us avoid unnecessary energy losses and financial pitfalls. Look at Westerners, Indians, Chinese, and Arabs. They already have an implementation plan ready before coming to Africa, they have their own in place who have gone through all the hurdles and they share the challenges with each other.
I have a strong feeling that we have more difficulty with that kind of cooperation between us. Coming to Africa with an individual mindset may be good but try to find like-minded people who are still striving towards the same or similar goals. You can always learn from each other's experiences.
If you can't find or feel like you fit into a community, it's enough to have 1-2 with the same mentality and mindset as you close. And have 2-3 honest good-hearted locals close by as well, and slowly work yourself towards in your own pace.

He has always seemed to me to be very intelligent and creative. Second, as you were talking I thought of something. I know nothing about Tanzania. Every country has individuals who are really good at business. If you got like five very successful Tanzanian businesspeople and had a meeting between them and like 10 African Americans in Tanzania who were looking to start a business with like $20,000, what would the Tanzanian business people advise you to do? Let's say they said that $20,000 was not enough to start anything. What would be the minimum required? And what type of businesses would they suggest? Would such businesses be possible if done by African Americans? If not, why? What would be the barriers? Don't mind me. I'm just thinking out loud. 😀

I felt very bad after watching the interview on (Kenganda) when you said that you don't like Tanzania anymore, I just don't know what happened at the border. You yourself were the first country that you loved and you lived for a long time until you were loved and accepted by its beautiful people. Today, only one person makes you hate them, it hurts me a lot too. when you go to do those interviews, everyone is happy when you talk about bad things about Tanzania, you can love the country very much but one day something will come to annoy you and that is common all over the world, it hurts me a lot that one or even 5 people should not make you hate the country because every time you go you will be asked why you left Tanzania, you will have to say its bad just a case of one more person from the region again from the border where you were sitting peacefully. plz go back to tanzania it is one of the very peaceful countries

I would say don't send any money especially thousands of dollars. You need to be on the ground (meaning there) to see if the land is there, if it's available, who owns it, the owner's asking price, and know the process to have legitimate documents. It's not like in any of the United States' land purchases and deeds.

We don’t have grand parents, uncles and family. We just have the same phenotypes and that is not enough. They are the majority not us going to Africa.

But I heard good things… I joined and my time was great… after 4 years I ended working with the team from hell. But I know that wasn’t the military just some evil people. I got hurt etc. but I would still recommend it to people. Therefore keep with the facts and stories

It's cool Mark I'll cut these people some slack. I don't know Oshay personally but I'm familiar with his rhetoric. This may be a persona he uses. But it creates a response good or bad. Also some of the people who he venerates are bigoted xenophobes towards specifically African immigrants. So people who are calling him PanAfrican don't see the hypocrisy. But hey, as you say people deserve a chance and I begrudgingly agree with that sentiment.
