It's really late to say this, but you guys really should look at the pause screens from time to time. Mainly because you typically get explanations for the different moves you can use for each ability. Something to keep in mind if you plan to do the challenge modes.
Yeah, we always forget for some reason. We are going to make a better effort of it, especially for the Arena. It will also help with lore explanations.
@@grekeandshaw and the CONTROLS, it made me cringe when you played as Halberd and never used the invincibility barrel roll! The pause screen lore is very nice too
If you let the cat face count to zero, it will have text that says fatal error and kills you. However, it's possible to tank through it if you dodge and have enough healing items.
People like to say that Kirby has had nonstop epic final bosses since Return to Dreamland… I call that a vicious understatement as Kirby has had epic final battles since the Dark Matter trilogy! From sword fighting Demons while falling towards Popstar from space to shooting a Fallen Angel style cyclops while being held aloft by a fairy; Kirby. Has always. Been. EPIC!
I totally agree with you there! I still remember the first time I fought Nightmare. It was so epic, that it destroyed part of the moon! I also really love the battle with Zero in Dreamland 3.
@@grekeandshaw I feel like it more so comes down to Return to Dreamland being the first game to have the graphics and technology to fully portray the epic battles. So since y’all don’t like pausing the game here’s the lore of Planet Robobot, "President Haltmann was once a kind CEO who had discovered the Star Dream and the Access Ark and worked to get the machines working. Tragedy came, however, I was involved in an accident with the machine and sent to another dimension. Overcome with immense grief, Haltmann attempted to use the Star Dream to wish for his daughter back, but it seemingly did not work. Overuse of the machine resulted in Haltmann losing his memories, eventually causing him to forget that he had a daughter in the first place. Susie eventually escaped this other dimension and joined Haltmann Works Co., seeking revenge on her father."
Meta knightmare returns is shown as a speed run with collectibles being replaced by point meta knight can use for: more speed, healing, a horizontal screen wipe, and a Screen wipe. The includes harder version of bosses with the final boss of the mode being changed a lot. (Also the boss pause screen descriptions holding lore.) each one of the mode takes about an hour to an hour 30 minutes. Though I would recommend you start playing forgotten land because that’s what the hype is right now, and maybe come back to do Robobot’s extra stuff on the side/later.
I can't believe I didn't notice you had the final part for Planet Robobot uploaded! Anyways, I really enjoyed the video, and seeing your guys' reaction to the final bosses!! I'll admit, I've already watched Robobot's final boss section on youtube quite a while ago. But it felt like I was watching it for the first time again, hearing your suprised reactions and commentary, and seeing you guys getting blindsided by various boss attacks. It's much more exciting and suspenseful watching people play bosses blind and without prior knowledge, than seeing someone fight through a boss who knows every one of their tricks and attacks. I actually didn't even know you could get eaten up by Nova's inhale attack because all the other videos I've watched of that fight never show the inhale attack working.
It was such an awesome final fight! I ended up playing it again and I didn't even realize you could dodge with the Halberd. It's how I was supposed to avoid the attack, but of course, this was after a long recording session and I was pretty tired. Not making excuses because in hindsight it was pretty stupid I didn't even know you could do that lol
