Bonsai Spruce Emergency Re-pot - Roots ripping the pot

- I've grown this tree for 6 years now from seed. I put it in that pot about 3 years ago. Due to lots of fertilize and sun, it has grown vigorously and ripping the pot. Lets hope this repot rejuvenates the tree!

Nice! How long are you planning to let it grow?
probably about 4 to 5 more years, we will see where the tree is then. If it isn't at a stage where I should refine, I'll give it another 3 to 5 years on top.
@@PNWBonsai nice! Will you slip pot to a bigger pot in a few years? I’m planning on letting some grow for a few years to fatten up a little. I see you used bonsai mix. I was thinking of using just organic.
@@iPheek Yea I had fungus growing on the nebari and it was in mostly organic so I thought I'd try to mix it up. I might slip pot it but depends on if I see the tree slowing down on its growth! Let me know how the organics work with you and we can compare!
