Azalea Bonsai Repot - Hino Crimson 100% Kanuma

This Azalea was in a mix of pumice, lava, pine bark and kanuma. The tree is healthy but not as healthy as I would like it to be. I decided to move it into 100% Kanuma and change the pot size. The original pot felt a tad bigger that I would like.

Great repot none the less. Love seeing the root systems and how they go for it. If I understood correctly, you completed the repot before flower bud break? Now you will remove all flower buds and let the green grow, correct?
