- Опубліковано 23 сер 2024
- Hey Rose Bae's 🌹!!!! As a young black entrepreneur, I'm always looking for ways to expand and grow my business, and what better way to do that then to add new products here and there!!
Very Veelo is a UA-cam mogul who creates beautiful, pigmented lipsticks and lipglosses, and because of her I also want to create some beautiful pigmented lipsticks and lipglosses as well!
I went ahead and purchased some pigment from very veelo's beauty to try them out in my own lipsticks and glosses to see what beauty I can create! That video will be coming up soon as I am trying to prepare for Valentine's day as well!!!

Thaannnkkk youuu sooo much!!!! I'm super excited for this journey!!
Just wanted to know if different types of oils makes a difference or the wax if I use beeswax?
@@rosaborian Beeswax should be fine. I use Candelilla and Carnauba waxes because they're vegan as my cosmetic line is vegan.
@@nellybstv7458 OK I get it the bees wax I get is directly from company that deals with bees... It's the thick one
@@rosaborian perfect!!! And just add which ever oils you prefer but the Castor oil is a deal breaker...I think you should definitely use Castor oil
You did great. I was the same way when I made my first batch. Victoria is a blessing🥰🥰🥰🥰
Thank you!!🥰❤🤗 And yes she is!!!!!!! So happy I found her!!
I tried this formula here in the uk .. wow I’m so impressed thanks for the video I can make loads now and save on Versagel !! Yay x
Yayyyyy!!!! Im so happy it worked for you!!! And congratulations on saving some money!!!!
Beautiful!! Thank you for sharing 💕💕🤍🤍!!
Thank you soo much for watching!!!!🥰⚘
Thank you so much for including measurements it was soooo helpful and many people don’t do that! Will you pls make a video on how it reacts to liquid lipstick making??
You're welcome, it was my pleasure! I will definitely add that to my list!
I sooo Love your energy, i really enjoyed watching your video and thank you for being so detailed i will be trying this out. you did great
Thank you so much! I truly appreciate you watching and especially enjoying this video. I hope you have so much fun recreating this base!!🤗🌹
Love your energy! Base looks so good!
Thank you so much!!!❤🥰
Love the video, you did great. For future reference you want to add the preservative after the product gets to around a temp of 60 degrees Celsius or 140F or get a preservative with a higher heat tolerance. Hope this helps💕
Thank you Gina!
What preservative miss?
Love the consistency came out 😍 for sure like 🧈
Thank you!!!🤗 Creating is so fun and exciting!!🥰
@@nellybstv7458 When I followed your instructions the base came out like a melted chunky butter I added my pigments and it still was so soupy. Every time i try to recreate veelo’s base it legit never comes out right at all.
@@josephandujar5941 oh no!!! I'm so sorry to hear that! If you're getting the soupy consistency....what else are you using when you add your pigments, if I may ask?
@@nellybstv7458 hi am now here...so new subscriber are you from trinidad if so where did you purchase ur ingredients??
@@sherryannkoylass5093 Welcome, and thanks for subscribing!! I am not in Trinidad, and I purchased my products from Amazon.com and tkbtrading.com!! I hope this helps❤🥰
This was so helpful! 🖤
Thank you!!!! Im glad it was of help to you!!🥰😍
Thanks for sharing
Absolutely!!!! Thank you for watching!❤🙏🏽
How much color would i need to add, l want to also make a birthday lippy for my auntie bright ♥️
Yay I finally made mine and I love it. Thank you for sharing the recipe. If I want solid lipstick instead of a lip gloss what should I do please?
It is a different formula. More wax and lless oil
Could i use bees wax? I have alot on hand and wanted to make different colors for myself, if you could help thanks!
Thank you
You're very welcome....Thank you for watching!🌹
You did good
Thank you!!!! 🥰😍❤🌹
She uses the powder for the liquid lipsticks and the concentrates for the bullets.
Thanks i want try make lipstick 💋💄
That's awesome!!! Definitely going for it!! I believe in you!🥰🌹
Good job. For your preservative, you want to be sure not to cook it or add it when your ingredients are too hot or it won't protect your product.
Thank you soooooo much!!!! Thats extremely helpful!!! You rock!!!🙌🏽🥰❤
The preservative should be the last ingredient once your product cools off then add it
Could this be added to lip gloss containers?
omg boo good job if u dont mind me askin where did u get ur isododecane from?
Thank you!! I got the isododecane from TKB trading.
Hello,
Thank you for sharing to us, may i ask How much ml are there in two spoons you used?
Hello. Thank you so much for watching! The measurements for the spoons are one teaspoon.
I tried it and said forget it. I just order from her. I ain't got time. Lol
Lol....I'm not mad that!!! That was going to be my move if it didn't turn out right!!!...lol, At least you tried!💪🏾🌹💋
Please make a video how to make veelo bullet lipstick base. Thank u in advance.
Thank you for that request! That will be one I add on the to do list!!
@@nellybstv7458 eagerly waiting. Thank you.
where can you get the Isododecane?
Do you have formula for bullet lipstick?
My apologies for the incorrect response. But I believe you just use more wax and less oils. I will have to research a little for you, and maybe I can then make a video for you as well.
Can you please indicate the name of the preservative?
Hello. My apologies for the super late response, but the name of the preservative is Caprylyl Glycol Phenoxyethanol. There's one for water based products, as well as one for oil based products.
Did you continue to stir the Base while it cooled down for a couple of hours after removing it from the heat?
I did continue stirring once removed from the heat to make sure there weren't any un-melted pieces of wax floating around because that would make the base feel gritty!
@@nellybstv7458 Okay thank you and thank you for responding.
@@BeautybyBelle_KyZmetics Absolutely no problem!!! Thank you for watching and asking!!!!
@@nellybstv7458 I appreciate you interacting with your followers. I've asked the same question to two other influencers and I ha e yet to get a response. Your video is so easy to follow. Can you do a video making a lip color?
@@BeautybyBelle_KyZmetics Its definitely my pleasure!!! I just want to be able to help as much as I can! And I would LOVE to do a lip color video!!! Thank you for your request!! You're so awesome!!
Are cap 2 preservative vegan?
How did your lipstick texture feel? I did mine too but the texture isnt feeling smooth n creamy. I mixed for a very long time too..
Hmmm...what kind of texture are you getting?
@@nellybstv7458 a gritty texture. It's not smooth at all and it gathers at the side of my mouth
@@candyboociara oh no ....okay...when you were in the hot phase, did you make sure there weren't any wax flakes that went un-melted?
@@nellybstv7458 totally melted the base itself is smooth but when I apply titanium, clay and lakes n I finish mixing the texture is a little gritty
@@candyboociara wow, sorry you're having those issues....but I just really took my time and used my spatula to spread it alongside the glass bowl I was mixing in to try to make sure everything was completely broken down because the clay and oxide additives clump up so much when added to the base.....maybe if you add the powders and clay in a little at a time and use the spatula to really press it out...I know its time consuming...but totally worth it!!
I used everything except almond oil and coconut oil since I make it allergen free but it hardens not soft
Did you substitute other or another oil to replace the amount of Almond oil and coconut oil that was added? Its supposed to solidify....I wouldn't necessarily say harden.
Hi is this the formula for the bullet lipstick or the liquid lipstick?
@@gritkosmedixllc7761 its for the base of the liquid lipstick
So my base seemed to be perfect but once I was mixing it was very oily. Any suggestions?
Yes, I would say you can either add a little more wax or decrease your oil ratio...for example, instead of the 2 tbsps of Castor oil, use one tbsp of Castor oil.
Also, remember to do one or the other.....don't reduce the amount of oil and add more wax as this will make your base more solid, and possibly not loose enough for a gloss or liquid lipstick.
Thank you so much!!
@@makeupandmurder134 You're more than welcome!!🤗
Is the lipstick transfer proof at all using this base??
No, it is not transfer proof with this base. The isododecane alone helps to make it more matte, but not transfer proof.
Hi I went on the tkb site and I can't find the wax that you are saying that you use can you please rephrase the wax or spell it out or something please so that I could find it thank you
Hello! Thank you so much for watching! In the video, I actually spell out the names of the waxes as the video plays. But the names of the waxes are Carnauba wax, and Candelilla wax.
this is a liquid matte lipstick base or just lipstick base
Adding a little more isododecane will make it a little more matte, but this base still produces a little shine as is
@@nellybstv7458 dear i want lipstick base not matte
@@eshukhan9155 then the base just as it is should be fine
dear very velo secnd lipstick base recipe want
@@nellybstv7458 this is a liquid base na i want hard base for lipstick mold
Do you still feel that liquid is better with this base
I'm not sure I understand completely what you're asking?
give me ingredient plz
Hello! All of the ingredients are listed throughout the video!
Have you actually used the base yet?
Yes I have used the base to make lip gloss.
@@nellybstv7458Heey dear two years ago haha but how many glosses you made with this base
