Nice, I just got a Monoprice delta mini. I'm super excited. There's a lot of potential here for cosplay.

You printed a Benchy. The whole point of a Benchy is to stress your printer and show its capabilities. It is quite a complex print that demonstrates the limits of any printer. You don't use a brim, skirt or raft and certainly no supports for a first print run as you are trying to define what your printer is actually capable of doing in terms of in full, bridging, bed adhesion etc.

I think I missed the part during the setup but why did you cut off the bottom of the bench model? Also have yo tried printing it without supports? At the original scale of the Benchy, the overhangs are short enough that the printer should be able to handle it without them. If you DO see any issues in those spots it a clue that the settings need to be adjusted, for example the extrusion temperature or cooling fan speed.

If whatched with hedphones it just can be heard in the left channel. At 13:18 the audio is good.

Where can I go to learn the skills you have, Ted? Man. I love your tutorials but I’d like some hands on apprenticeship.

I would love a 3d printer but I'm not tech savvy. I recently learned my phone is capable of Tap to Pay but i can't even figure out where in the menu options to go to to turn it on. Need to Google that. Don't even get me started on adjusting my autocorrect. I've spelled some words wrong so many times, it suggests the misspelling now, like "5hat" instead of "that"

Instead of sanding for these you could give your prints an acetone vapor bath.
DIY Perks has a video on it here: ua-cam.com/video/6xFUNFG-UKE/v-deo.html
It does depend on the type of filament you use I guess.
