It's coming! Got busy with other things shortly after that video was posted. I did manage to do a few test cuts on aluminum. Seems to work OK. I helix plunged into some aluminum and cut a few pockets with no issues. No enclosure and makes a mess too!
Thank you! I just noticed your comment. Its all done in a Bridgeport mill. The tool I used on the final cuts is a fly cutter. Was not necessary but wanted to clean in up a bit.
Nice work!!! I have a VEVOR CNC Router 3040T 4 Axis CNC Router Machine 300mmX 400mm and I want to put a Makita Router RT0701C on it, can you help me making a Router Mounting Kit?
Thank you! What are you having issues with? Im not so sure i can help much. If you are lacking a mill, you are going to have to find a machine shop to make the mount for you.
LOL, you already have a mill thats 100x better in every way than that CNC is going to be... so what's the point of using a better tool to build a worse tool?
Beautifully made! the way the gap closed up when you bolted the router in shows how well you made the mount
Thank you! I plan on making at least a few videos of this small machine making some cuts in aluminum when i have time.
Nice work my friend. The Makita will work well for you.
I have been waiting for the follow up video. I am curious how that machine performs with your added router.

Nice job!👍🏻
Thank you!
What's the diameter of the Makita RT0701C (the area you're clamping)? I'm wanting to see if there are any suitable sizes already on the market~

which kind of controller you use? how to connect router to the machine i mean power supply?
I use Mach 3 as a controller. The router is just plugged into the wall and I turn it on manually.
Pro!!!
Any updates?
Not yet. I'll be machining something on it soon.

Its just a project to screw around with from time to time.
