I like the fact you can switch between natural vibrant and authentic on the HM6PRO . . . certain times you want a more natural look and other times you want a more saturated look, only phone ive heard of being able to adjust photos like that without editing afterwards
Thank you for taking the time to make this video. I've the magic 6 pro and yes it can take some brilliant photos during the day and night but it can also be really frustrating too. One photo looks great in natural and then another time vivid is better. And yes those blues are an issue, not all the time but the over saturation can be frustrating..i wish honor could tune their colours to be more natural and they would have a seriously good device to bring to the market, as the build quality, battery life, screen and general UI is excellent...
very nice video, as always, thanks for the work and for providing us the comparison with all three modes with the honor, amazing work, showcasing us very well a lot of different situations in good areas... very nice i don't know how are those camera apps done, but it would be very nice if you could provide non "night mod" shots, AND night mod shots in low lights, because to be honest night mod usually really change the overall mood of the image, and those biggers apertures are made for us to take shots quickly, instead of having to wait 3 secs on every shots (but anyways, it is very nice that you make so much low light sample, since it is a very very important part, and the one with the biggest differences) anyways, the honor as i said since it launched, is a big let down for me overall, so inconsistent... but it does provide good images, with amazing contrasts overall, making the others look like there is a white veil on top of the image patiently waiting for your comparisons with the x200 pro ! keep up the good work my friend
I will try to incorporate some non-night mode shots in future comparisons. I really hope Vivo will release it soon here, since I am not that big in importing ;)
Overall, Honor is the clear winner. Given the price/ performance ratio, it sits in it's own class. Nothing comes even close, specially when it comes to night photos.

Not sure if anyone can confirm, BUT I really wish more reviewers would show us the brightness in daylight AND HOW LONG it stays bright for. Sometimes I can take it outside for 3min and the screen dims! My Pixel 8 Pro doesn't do this or at least stays brighter for longer. 5. HAVE you notices how shadows are not like the Pixel or the iPhone they are like a BLUE colour! To summaries the issues for me ( camera inconstancies and the screen brightness ) Thank you for this review, I have 14 days to return the Honor do you think there is another phone I should try in the UK :) ?

@@alischanHave you disabled AI mode on honor? The AI distorts the colors and tends to paint the photo, without the AI the photos are of better quality
Something seems wrong with your zoom lens. My Magic 6 Pro takes amazing night shots on the zoom so much so that I use it more than the main. You need to take the pictures WITHOUT night mode enabled and with AI enabled. I am always amazed with the night zoom and it makes sense because it has a wider aperture than any other zoom lens. So I am not sure what's going on in your test here. Night mode seems to mess with the zoom processing. I wish I could post pics in the comments of my zoom shots versus those on a ip15 Pro max.
It would be difficult to make a proper comparison with ever combination of settings possible. Some say AI ruin the picture or the night mode is the real deal. I will try to maybe add some non night mode shots in an upcoming comparison.
@@izpcshop7326 It optimizes the colours and scene based on what it's taking. When I point it to trees or flowers, there's a pop up that comes up saying greenery or flowers. If I point it at a cat, it says cat. If I point it at food it says food. And it makes a difference because food is stationary and you want the colours to pop whereas a cat can move and it'll take the picture quicker and highlight details in the hairs.
