Thank you for taking the time & trouble to make this video. I have found it really useful as there are so many settings that I didn’t know what they for or how to use. Just got to get outside & start using the camera now. Thanks once again.
I really appreciate you putting your time and energy into making this video. I've had my 16 pro max for two days now and this camera is great. You explain things well. I'm getting used to the ccb but it's gonna take practice. I'm sure I'll be watching this video a few times ✌🏼️
Thank you so much for this comment. I legit took 8 hours to make it. I’m so glad it was useful for you. Feel free to ask if you have any questions and I’ll be posting tons of iPhone 16 videos on my channel if you are looking for more.
This is amazing. I had a 13pro and never watched a video like this. I had a broken zoom lens and now that I have a 16 pro, I can’t wait to go to air shows and my uncles Porsche Club races to take videos. Thank you so much!
Thank you so much for explaining all the steps in details. I had this 16 pro max for a week. Not a tech savvy so will be watching your video several times to learn & practice. I am trying to follow all the buttons but was stuck when I did not see the timer on my screen so please let me know how to enable that on my screen . Thank you from the heart. Appreciate it very much.
That was awesome thankyou! I’ve had well over 15 iPhones and I’ve always meant to explore the camera settings and how to use it properly but I’ve never found a really good video on it until now. Great job 👍🙂
Wow! I stumbled across this video after I got my new iPhone 16, and I never understood why people were raving about the quality. I decided to investigate and what a great tutorial you’ve given us! For someone who is mostly iphone illiterate like me, this was so informative and such a confidence booster! I will definitely be spending some time watching your other videos! Thank you so much! ❤️
Thank you for a great instructional video. I know my eyes glazed over a few times as I know I’d never use half of those options but it was great to have them explained and shown.
Thanks, these iPhones are getting more and more technical and harder to explain. I really appreciate the comment though as it took me forever to finish this video lol. So glad it was helpful for you and if you have any questions feel free to ask or check my channel as I have hundreds of iPhone tutorials.
Fabulous introduction to the camera - I purchased this phone for the camera and you have really taught me a lot. My man camera is a Canon 1D but needed something to take pics on the go.
So much better than several other iPhone 16 videos I watched. I appreciate that you took the time to demonstrate each feature, and not just say what it is. For the slo-mo feature, if you typically edit video externally, would it be better not to use slo-mo, and instead record at a high frame rate and do your slow-down in the edit software? Would the quality be any different, or would it just be a matter of having more control?
Thanks really appreciate the comment, this iPhone camera tutorial took me like a whole day to make so I’m glad you found it helpful! As for using Slow motion or not it is up to you. Regular video mode maxes out frame rate at 120 where slow mo gives you the 240 option. So even editing after post you would be left with the max speed 120 fps could give you. If you push it further in edit, it starts to bounce. Test it with both and see what performs better.
This tutorial video is awesome especially for someone moving from android. Really informative. Thank you for taking the time and energy in making this video ❤
Thanks so much for the comment. I’m so glad I was able to help you learn how to use the iPhone 16 camera especially since you were coming from Android. I feel like it’s harder sometimes when coming from another software.

Just got the iPhone 16 pro and watching this as not great with technology. Is there any way I can lock my camera setting on 1.5 (35 mm setting)? I want to use it for street photography and prefer if I don’t have to change each time I want to take a quick photo.

Great video, thank you. One question please, were I can‘t find the answer. Is it still possible to make pictures with the volume buttons? At least the action key can be configured to make pictures?
@@DHTV it’s definitely a change haha not sure if I like it but I’ve only had it afew days I’ll give it this year, I miss just having a back button. Low light photos I think my s23 ultra had the advantage but the video and stabilisation is definitely ahead they look amazing on the 16 pro
A standard case that covers it won’t allow the camera control button to work. You need to either find one that has a hole cut for camera control. Apple has a case that works with camera control.
Is apple remove filter option from portrait photos??? And they give photographic style at place of this Sir please tell me how can i use filters(vivid) on portrait photos
Hey DHTV - I was trying to take a picture of a spider dangling on it's web using the 5x camera, but the camera REFUSED to focus on it. I tried moving the F-Stop settings, but it just wouldn't cooperate. Do you have any advice on how I can adjust depth of focus like that when it just won't detect something in the foreground?
The only option I can think of would be to turn off the debt option in photo mode. You can do this on the camera settings turn off portraits in photo mode. Now the issue could be that you are too far and the macro lens isn’t engaging. You might need to get closer to the spider.
How do I Convert Iphone 16 Pro Video to Slow Motion video? Not the whole video but certain part of it? Do I need third party software like Capcut for this?
That is probably because you have, in the camera app (inside settings) inside “formats" set to “most compatible". If this is set this way, you cant change the color styles after taking the picture. It has to be set to "high efficiency" to be able to edit after the fact. Maybe this is why you see it different. Hope this helps. (Got my i’hone 16 pro last night and couldn’t work around that until it hit me!!.. for a while i thought was iOs18.1 related… but no, its the formats!!) good luck!!
@@novananasir4457 yes..im afraid it is not included anymore. Those styles evolved into these new “photographic styles”. You can create a preset similar to “vivid effect” and apply it to the photo while you are shooting, or after de fact…

Spatial mode wasting time, and you don’t explain how to use Portrait mode clearly. I used to have iPhone 13 promax it have function like you hit portrait then to like this background totally black and the thing you want to take is very color.
I don’t get into the technical stuff that much in my tutorials. I’m more of a show you how to use it kind of video creator. I’d you are looking for details on portrait mode this might help. support.apple.com/en-ca/guide/iphone/iphd7d3a91a2/ios
