I bought iPhone 16 Pro Max and i was disappointed, returned after 9 days and bought the pixel 9 pro XL with buds 2 pro free..., Snappy and ignoring the benchmarks for real world usage, its more substantial than iPhone 16 pro max.
After being an iPhone user for years, I have to say that my Pixel 9 Pro XL is a damn good phone and as of now, I don't see myself going back to iPhone as my primary. Maybe the 17 series but if it is anything like what the 16 Pro/Max was, I will pass again and keep my 14 Pro, as my back-up.
Both are very good phones. I used pixel 7 for the last 3 years and it is an absolute beast. I just bought 16 Pro Max and It feels great so far. The Pixel and the IPhone are very responsive and smooth devices it’s up to you what you prefer, that clean android experience or that smooth animations with the iPhone. For me both phones are very good and satisfying to use.
For people that have the new iPhone 16 Pros. That ESR Amorite screen protector is complete trash. You get horrible rainbow effects all around the edges and it doesn’t cover the bezels. The only good thing is the install process. Just pay the extra cash and get the Belkin one that Apple sells as you don’t get those issues.

Again my opinion if everyone thinks Apple invented everything and does everything but that’s your opinion you need to feel great about your purchase that’s fine too.

When someone reviews the cameras on pixel snd iphone sbd when they say iPhone has the more natural look i know its biased. iPhone over saturated photos even when pixel processes a photo it doesnt do that.
I have the Pixel 9 Pro XL. Very happy with it. IMO Apple has gotten to button happy with their phones. The new camera control button, I think, is an unnecessary gimmick. Be interesting to see if it sticks around or goes the way of the context sensitive function keys on the MacBook pro.

No they don’t. Apple is famous for updating old devices with new software. Android phones are supported with new software for like 2 years then they stop giving the phones new software updates. There’s a reason Apple has a higher resale value.
After using the Pixel 9 and the iPhone 16 Pro I have to say both feel good, run great and look awesome. The Pixel has less customization options in its stock for them the iPhone at this and the iPhone have a great chip set. I would get what you feel comfortable with. I have a lot of Apple products but I prefer the Pixel as it takes me less taps to get a simple task done and the UI more consistent than the iPhone. You will be happy no more what phone you choose.

Samsung has been able to do slow mo at 120 fps for a while now. The camera button was also something that Sony phones have had for a while. It’s interesting that you are quick to point out that Google “stole” the design of the iPhone but not when Apple steals features from other manufacturers. I think ultimately borrowing is good since it usually results in a better experience for consumers. I actually own both an iPhone and a Google pixel for different reasons. I don’t have a particular horse in this fight.

I used a pixel for 3 years was a great phone but just simply not powerful enough for gaming. Games used to literally crash and be unplayable. Have a 16 pro now love it
changed from pixel 8 pro to iphone 16 pro and I gotta say, software wise android is years ahead of apple. Ai, simple things as when you charge you're battery it displays how much time is left, etc. however the hardware and simplicity of iphone can't be beaten. It's proven too, that you can hold on to an iphone longer than android device. So if you want good hardware (that won't brake after an year or 2) go with iphone. If you want innovation and latest software features go android.
There’s a slight caveat to this tho, yes right now Google has the AI software but i don’t think it’s going to be more advanced. Apple isn’t advertising AI intelligence for no reason eventually it will come through an iOS update. When it does it will more likely be alittle better than the Google simply put because the device is going to run it more efficiently. As of right now all i see is a slightly larger camera for Google a bigger battery that will probably last longer maybe not live as long as the iPhones but your phone won’t die as quickly. I had pixel 7 pro and my wife the iphone 13 pro max. The iphone is laggy and the same boring iOS since 2010 I think. I just bought the Pixel 9 Pro Xl and it is way ahead even though the processor slower than iphone, it works really good. Really good performance.

Pixel 9 Pro is a nice change, but with compromises. If you don't want a snobby iPhone, the Pixel is a good choice.

Iphone 16 pro max is trash compared to the pixel 9 pro I bought last week after returning the iPhone 16 Pro Max. I was disappointed.

JSL snap gen 3 is better at gaming then 18 pro the snap elite is even better and more powerful then a18 pro so no ur wrong it is not the most powerful lol
pixel has a really bad post sales service you won't get anything from a simple cover to tempered nothing is avl by the time youll find a cover chances are you may have dropped it many times because the Design sucks and is super slippery and god forbid you ever think of getting a replacement of any part it will break your bank cus your barely get any spare part for google so never buy a google phone no mater how good it may look
I found a ton of cases and a ton of glass screen protectors that work with the fingerprint reader that was at pre order

I had pixel 7 pro and my wife the iphone 13 pro max. The iphone is laggy and the same boring iOS since 2010 I think. I just bought the Pixel 9 Pro Xl and it is way ahead even though the processor slower than iphone, it works really good. Really good performance.

None of both. The so hyped Google 9 gives you virtually no setting options in the standard ones. Why the crappy search bar or the useless at a glance bar? AI? Why not make it simple like Samsung does it, instead for everything to have to use Gemini? It's just a boring phone.
Jsut looking st processor power is somewhat useless now unles your doing high amounts of gaming. When it comes to pixel it has way more real world use featurs with their ai and voice assist. Apple intelegence is only catching up the be old google assist where it will tell you the answer rather than sending oyu a weblink.
