Sneaky tech: in his grappling variation (the one with running man) you can combo into to air grab and use it as a combo extender with forward32-> forward jump air grab (amp). You have to be pretty quick and hold up and forward after the F32 to buffer the jump as early as possible, but it totally works :D
rolling ion grenade can be amplified for combos and u didnt put it in the videooooo reeeeeeeeeeee

He’s just like Jason. Everything from the low overhead string into combo, to the teleporting behind your opponent and coming back from the dead. He’s just like Jason from mkx
-TGS- LordZAPPA-lx REVENGE When you do a think about it they share similarities in fighting. They both stalk their victims using brute strength and shake off any damage, Terminator just also utilizes guns, but yeah I do wish his moves were a bit different, like that air grab that combos when enhanced is just a rip off

Of course the resemblance to Jason is undeniable but I mean there are only so many archetypes in a fighting game. How else are they gonna design the kombat. How different can a human killing machine be from a literal killing machine.

Just fight the computer in the hardest difficulty and you would be playing pretty much against a casual but with no tea bagging.

@@IceKloneEnjoyer check out the Akuma vs Chameleon fight and Stryker vs Bison. I favor that style of gameplay over slower hence why Mkx is my favorite. Alien was one of my mains so I was a nightmare with him and since I know his moveset I'm able to react to him and whoop him out pretty fast. In Mkx certain characters required certain methods. Alien was the one you had to kill as fast as possible no exceptions so my personal challenge was I couldnt allow myself to drop the combo or I'm done for. Tarkaten and Acidic were amazing with how much damage you can stack and he had combos for days. I used to play Mkx on Hard and Very Hard all the time. The computer was cancer but that's why I myself am relentless. Even fought Alien as my other mains. He fought how I expected him to, they're relentless and Mkx knocked that aspect out of the park. I won't act like I never lost to it he was perfect to me.

Yeah I've seen those finals where Sonic picked acidic alien. He really excels with those setup archetypes where he can throw shit on the floor and make them eat damage over time. Keep in mind that his down 2 functions just like any other. He may stay crouched but he can be hit out of it like other Karacters.
Spent an hour getting his best combo with the first variation and added my own spin to it. He is insane. You can do the jax ground move then wiff the forward leg poke to get crushing blow on knee

The Cyber Rift is a full screen low if amplified, also love terminator he's a lot of fun

I really like this character but I feel like all of his flavor is lost in his tournament builds

Terminator was the reason I bought the Kombat Pack. He’s my new main. My variation is Endo-Lunge, TDE, Cyber-Rift. I’m having a lot of fun with him.
I recommend changing one with infiltrator toss because starting with unkillable machine (KB) + infiltrator toss (AMP) + FB is about 500 and if you do a 1,2,3, or 4 either before or after infiltrator toss you're looking at 500+ (I think my best is 546 but it kost both bars )

It’s weird (from a visual sandpoint) that the terminators sawn-off seems almost full screen while Spawns dual wielding assault rifle move isn’t
When this game first came out I was hyped for my man Kabal to be on the roster... but Shang Tsung quickly took over as my main. But lately I have been having a lot of fun with the Terminator.

Congrats to the Terminator community and those lookin to him to enjoy and have a competitive chance playing him. As for me a dvorah main imma stand in a corner and wonder why Dvorah can't have anything even remotely like this character. He is more safe on his strings than her, he has low and over head mix and overall is a better zoner and up close than dvorah. All she has to me is setup and range albeit I have to make it safe with meter if blocked. Sigh

He's got 50/50s, but you can easily poke out of all of them in the first variation, and he has to be at pretty good frame advantage in order for you to respect his options. The amplified version of Cyber Rift doesn't just do more damage, it changes the range of the attack from mid-screen to full screen.

I like the Destroyer Variation, and Judgement equally. Kombos for days with mix ups. But Dark Fate I will actually give a chance. I see some good potential in it.
You can do the anti air throw twice in a combo you can easily get about 430 and even better with a crushing blow

I’ve been having difficulty performing his “I’ll be back” fatality, even with those inputs. How can I do the fatality consistently?
GamerPlaya 123 you need to go as close as possible and the second-to-last input need to be pressed for a really short amount of time
It's easy to do if you get right up close and hold block, do the back forwards back input then release block and press the button quickly

Played a couple dozen KL matches with Terminator, so far every match turned into opponent staying the hell away from me and just zoning me out... I literally never saw a subzero or Scorpion back dash so much in this game ever lol

When I first played as him I thought he was shit but today he's actually really good
i think judgment variation is by far the best, and btw you can MB hes nade so it explodes immediately, that means he can combo from every string and yes it is safe and yes he has a low and overhead starters and you can do a 30+ combo from both, that means he has a safe 50/50 that combos from both options on top of hes broken thing that prevents you from using any meter, it has to be an S+ variation.
I'm not sure he you noticed afterwards, but Amplifying Cyber rift causes it to go full screen instead of only in front of you.
Terminator is amazing. Although he needs to be nerfed a little bit.

Yep, he has pretty short reach and the f3 is fricking 19 frames start-up
His only fast mid that leads to god damage is b3 but that thing literally has no range, it's not even super fast for a mid with that range considering that there is chatacters with 9 frame mids that also have better range
Also love how people don't mention the humongous gap in f32, I think it's full combo punishable
OOOOOH BOY, I've been waiting for this,the Terminator is Badass.
Sonicfox discovered that his Death Grip (air throw) move in the Dark Fate variation isn't just a combo starter, but a combo extender. It's hard to pull off but it can lead to ridiculous damage. If you prime the KBs on both his command grab and his Sawed Off and land a KB uppercut or his f+3, 4 KB - you can get over 600 damage mid-screen! That is ludicrous!
So some fun tech for Dark Fate variation, canceling the 121 string into running man on hit and going into grab as soon as they recover will meet the requirements for the kB. Also good for mind games once people know this lol

@TrueUnderDawgGaming In variation 3 he does have a cool down on the grenades. Each takes a few seconds to restock so a combo where you use two bounce grenades cannot be ended with an incapacitator. Also there is a massive gap in F3, 2 that can be interrupted by stand 1. That's why F3, 4 KBs much like Shang Tsung's F2, 4, 3 and F2,4,2 strings.

Okay. As a lifelong fan of the first two Terminator movies I have to complain about some things:
1. Why on earth do the T-800 endoskeletons in the future war fatality scene have some decorative red lights on them? That's completely unnecessary and overly stylistic. Those little design lights do not belong on a Terminator. Only the eyes are supposed to shine red and that has a scientific function.
2. Why is The Terminator emoting pain with his facial expressions like all other characters when he's taking damage? Why haven't the game designers customized his face to stay emotionless at all times as a Terminator should be?
3. It's a real shame the character isn't voiced by Arnold Schwarzenegger. This voice doesn't have the authority, the depth or the power that only Arnold has.
Otherwise... this is the best thing in Mortal Kombat EVER.
I just got this game today with the Kombat Pack, and I REALLY wanna learn to use this guy well. I'm always gonna be scrub teir as a player, so I'll only ever do local multi, but this guy is super fun, and seeing what's possible here is like.... holy crap. lol
I like your videos, and, about terminator, you forgot to talk about the ion grenade, but the amplified version, that version extend combos/go to combo (I think it is)

You forgot to see that cyber rift has limited range, and amplified haa range full screen.
As a regular player I recommend amplify it to keep away your enemy, add presure. And most importantly, mix up, plus the damage.
As a kasual player, playing against several Terminators... he has yet to kill me. He seems to rely a TON on his meter to do any considerable damage while maintaining pressure. His mixups catch me very consistently, yet every time it only seems to chip off 10-15% at a time unless he burns meter or sacrifices his positioning and knocks me full screen. He's definitely not bad, he is fucking mix-up city and an oki monster, but unlike Geras who gets oki AND deletes your entire lifebar in 3 touches, or Jax who can snowball you to death in 10 in-game seconds flat, Terminator seems to whittle away at you very slowly and deliberately. At least, those are my first impressions after going against him a few times.
Terminator's Endoskeleton form needs a buff. It only shows up at low health in a Round 3 tiebreaker which is really dumb because that means it's rarely even activated.
variation 1 has a 40% if you use the d2 kb, 4 into enhanced antiair grab which can be enhanced twice in the same kombo

F3, 2 is fully interruptible for a full combo. Definitely not godlike against someone who knows, but f3, 4 compliments it with the krushing blow.
It would compliment it, but the KB only works if the first hit completely misses, not if they block, or at least that's from what I've tested. Still though, it's a pretty good mind game.
That low start up into a over head is crazy
Fullscreen run not required for KB. It can happen from a little further than mid screen

True, he's really meant to be in your face. It seems like he kinda struggles everywhere else. Also, you can interrupt all of his mixups. I hope people actually lab him so he doesn't get nerfed for no reason other than people can't do research.
He has some good mix but after u get use to his strings he can be beaten but A or S tier yes he struggles against Cetrion & good players that go in the lab to learn him
