I play joker so much and I am saying that you can combo of a Batsy-poo & CCDDEGEC.(if it hits first). I am so sad now😢
Variation 1 is a wi-fi warrior’s wet dream, 2 is gimmicks/traps galore, and 3 is the “Prepare to get full-comboed off literally everything I do”
The fact you can’t punish them gloves makes my soul hurt.
I Am Syzygy they are highs, and characters with fast advancing moves like Liu Kang and Jacqui can actually reversal punish it

It took me ALL DAY to find out that the special move “CCDDEGEC” isn’t called “jack in the box” because “CCDDEGEC” is the chord progression for “pop goes the weasel” We don’t deserve the amount of genuine creativity nether realm gives us

He's definitely a high tier character, he have a lot of safe strings combos, movement speed is hell of, good 50/50,etc. He ain't no joke

I believe joker is amazing with combos. Aslo i hope they give kabal a reverse flash skin, frost a killer frost skin, and erron black a deadshot skin.

I'm gonna say it: Joker is the best DLC character so far, he's fun has combos and is easy to play and hits slightly heavier than most characters (whats not to like?)
If nightwolf got some hitbox issues fixed and they make his rising tomohawk a regular special hed win that award but u might be right

I got mortal kombat last month and Joker is my number one player and I still play him , Joker and scorpion are my most played but mainly joker I love playing him

I love his throw requirements because you can do a normal combo string use fatal blow and dash cancel into a throw for a lot of flat damage. He is a really good comeback character

@@jojox1733 IDK why I didn't get the Kombat Pack 🙄 but that was my plan when The Terminator dropped and all the players were so oppressive back then and I still have trouble with him now but from the little I've seen on this vid I'll take your encouragement and fight them down

18:53 you actually can get a combo there with a d1 but you cant continue it. So all you can do is a d1 and what i usually do is 123 db1 d1 and into db1 amp so they have to block for pressure. Hope this helped :)

As a music nerd, I just have to gush about how the name of his universal Jack-in-the-box special move is just the melody for "Pop Goes the Weasel", that's so genius!!
There’s two strings with with wheelchair person. Ones a low and ones actually a projectile.
You should make a tier list where how good the characters are in kasual matches. Like kitana is super OP online!

As a long time mk and DC comic fan I can genuinely say this is probably the most disturbing depictions of the joker I've ever seen. Seeing him do a move called "birdboy beatdown" drives home how sick Jason Todd's murder was. I think untethering the character from DC ( who at the end of the day has an image to uphold) and letting the deplorables at netherrealm really go crazy with the character shows why batman catagorically and unquestionably has the worst most violent rogues gallery in fiction

I defeated 9 people in a row online, HE IS FREAKING AWESOME!
His throw crushing blow is a bit more scary than it seems. When I was testing him out on towers yesterday, I did my Fatal Blow on someone a little under half health, then I did my throw and it still activated the krushing blow, so they were almost dead at that point.
You miss one combo string with projectile ender. He can throw chair-guy.

I've only played against AI as of now but I love using Getting Lit to end combos especially in the corner because if you time it you can catch the opponent doing anything.

Just a tip you missed. You can fatal blow cancel after the B32 KB to use normal attacks. So you could do F32 KB FBCancel 121 BF2 for example.
His basic 1 -> 2 (I think? Sorry used to the actual terms and not the universal.) Can be followed up by Anti-air Jack to do another 50\50 but it spends meter to do so. It's good for catching those who will block high or throw something out. Also his ducking 4 (The cain\ bat sweep) can go under projectiles with timing. Useful for avoiding unneeded chip.

This character is made for bot Kombat league and casual. He has the zoning and mix ups for kl and the fun kombos for kasual.

Joker needs a cosmetic that paints his face completely green and makes him bald. Joker as The Mask in MK 11 would be epic.

Jack in the Box is definitely a lot stronger that what it seems. It's plus 24 on block, and it stays out, even if they hit you. So if they're in your face, and you have that out, they either respect and guess between overhead, low, or throw, or they try something and get bonked.
I feel like it's a little better for setups just cause you don't have to spend meter for it.
Also, Jumping Jester does combo out of a bunch of stuff, you just have to change the trajectory on it.
I know it was like your first impression at the same time and that I'm commenting too late, but no mention of the powerful fatal cancel which gives access to even longer combos
The grab move does a crushing blow if you use your fatal blow too, not just if you fake the fatal blow and it’s on cool down
I love kapows capability but there’s something so satisfying about the bird boy beatdown or whatever it’s called 💪🏼
Actually if You finish a combo in the corner with the gasoline, it pushes You back and eats weakups. Really strong tool

The jack in the box kick is better for corner combos, the jumping jester would hit on the way up and wouldn’t set up
Remember fighting a joker player who did nothing but zone, literally spammed the high projectile and the low projectile. My goodness it was annoying but after I switched to nightwolf of course he didn’t stand a chance lol

The standard Jack in a box can be Hold (EXTREM IMPORTANT)
And getting lit can easy eat an up 3 wakeup because joker just goes to far away to be punished
I think his jumping 2 only really shines when meeting the opponent in the air considering the range he has with the cane
Joker is beatable but even after months of playing he is still a challenge. Jade is a decent counter because of Dodging shadows but you have to be on it are he will mess you up. I always groan when somebody picks him but since I play Jade I guess I can't complain. A lot of people groan when I pick her as well.
Ya Getting lit is stupid in the corner, you can use it like how sonicfox was messing around with kano, or back when he played Erron. Anyone else think We'll see sonic using joker next major?
If you have someone in the fire you can then throw them and then they still take that chip damage while the animation is playing, then you can use all of his long distance moves to deal huge damage

Sadly my Xbox keeps crashing so I’m reinstalling the game but this will hold me over til I can test him out my self
So holding his batsy poo seems like it has "mix-up" potential with his bat doll parry, much like injustice 2 enchantress, with her charged unblockable diamond and her diamond parry-attack...the animations for batsy poo and doll parry are similiar to each other, like enchantress's diamond attacks.
The getting lit is you do it before you end your combo and since it's a low and you have allot of hit stun so in the cornor v3 so where you wanna be for that ability
With the gloves just jump in after it and after a lunch then it gets hard to combo
