Tremendous. Congratulations on your growth! Life is all about the challenges of growth and seeing you take that on with such a great attitude helps your listeners as well. Thank you for the shot of inspiration. Always appreciated.

I now find modest dressing and clothing the most beautiful. I hung into my expensive jeans for a long time but I didn't wear them. Years later when I was ready I gave them away as it didn't hurt to do so but I waited until that time came and didn't rush the process. I feel I now have my very own style of dressing and it's much more of an art form than when I wore regular clothing. Thank you for the video.

Hey love the realness and honesty! Had a similar experience recently where I literally stopped being into politics as a result of a big shift towards spirituality in my life. I used to be super into it and follow everything, but I've found it kind of liberating to let go

I so resonate as a BT myself! Very much felt in like with all of these. And I hope you get to be back in Eretz Yisrael soon as an olah BZH!

Good stuff. The MAJOR thing you'll come to see is SELF INTEGRITY and CONSISTENCY. You gotta be honest with yourself. Mean what you say, say what you mean and act accordingly.

I'm Ba'al tshuva and grew up Conservative and became Orthodox. It was important for my Dad that family was together for Rosh HaShannah (this is in US) so I worked things out that I would daven near his Conservative synagogue at an Orthodox shul but would pop into one of the services by him. When I was with him he looked at me and saw I wasn't davening and said to me "It's fine if you want to go" (he wasn't being annoyed he just meant thanks for coming but you can go) and I answered him "How can I explain things to you? Well it's kinda like I just outgrew this place." He didn't take that as insult- thankfully- but actually understood- I grew up Conservative and - me personally kept "growing" on to Orthodoxy. But when I saw the title of your talk it reminded me of this conversation that stayed in my mind all these years because that's exactly the way I felt I SIMPLY OUTGREW IT (after being Shomer Shabbos for a couple of years). Keep posting your videos- You are a great role mode. Hope you are also posting on Instagram and other social media cause that's where a lot of young Jews are these days.

Couple of ideas for you: Do an interview with Living L'Chaim they have 1.5 million subscribers! and what about also doing one withJew in the City if that's still active. Just a thought from Jerusalem

It says in Chassidus that our thoughts, emotions, and deeds are interconnected. But when one engages in too much bitul Torah, (time away from G-dliness) then a person’s attention will be diverted away from kedushah (holiness) and into shtus (folly) ch‘v sh. But that doesn't mean we have to avoid the satisfaction and joy living in G-d's world; quite the contrary.

I gave up tv a couple of years ago and don't miss it at all. i came to find it dreary, depressing and immoral. I'm in a better frame of mind as well as having more money in my pocket. Good luck on your new journey.

Cognitively you are more of a producer than a consumer anyways.
Hope you make it to Israel though!

      You asked 🤷🏼‍♂️
The foundation of this can be found in Rambam's 'shmoneh perakim'
      Very briefly:
      Your intuition is very active,
You consolidate your understanding to the root of the concept
You conceive of how things play out and usually don't bother taking paths that have no purpose.
You find peace in knowing that everything has a cause and can be predicted.
You like to know how things end before you allow them to begin. (Including an exit strategy)
You are loaded with information that you want to share, and you feel responsible to direct the course of things, especially when things go off track or become chaotic.
You see the perspective of others, your own faults and your role in conflicts. Thus, you find it relatively easy to concede.
People might come to you with their problems as a result (especially if you are good at resisting the urge to talk their ears off).
You are slightly wired to seek the permission and approval of others but you also know what you like, your values and priorities.
You might have swings between feeling like you have all of the info and the surprise of something coming from left field and overturning everything that you thought that you knew.
You have patience for the process.
You are very aware of your energy levels and the nuance of how to internalize feedback into your character.
You learn best by interacting with others asking questions and seeing how they think.
And you usually want to know how what you learn is useful or applicable.
Not sure if you made it to the end, or you just looked here first to see what the conclusion is, but impressed if you are reading this regardless.
