Ive found this tent holds it shape much stronger if you have the central guylines looser, it keeps the ridgline stronger and helps to keep moisture and condensation from pooling.
Hi Nathan, thank you mate, I’m glad you liked it. Yeah it’s definitely handy to have the mess especially if your heading to midge fest areas isn’t it. Cheers pal, Ant
Ant, great video! So used the seam sealer both inside and outside. I will have to try that particular brand on mine. I like that applicator. That can be a messy chore. Have you been out in a good rain since last year when you applied it?
Hi Denis, yeah it goes on ok but gives you a shock as it goes on blue but then dries clear thankfully. Yes mate, been out in it a few times in the rain and it held up great, I've had no issues will leaks buddy.
Hello there Wullie, thank you pal, glad you enjoyed the video. Yeah it's a great spot for a quick overnighter mate. Big thanks for watching and commenting. Cheers, Ant 👍
It was matey wasn’t it, nice and relaxing that’s for sure. I could quite easily do another tomorrow but I’m out early with mum and dad Saturday. How about a moors/great hill camp next Friday buddy? Get some of those nice views
Great little camp out, nice looking tent I like the traditional shaped tents. Now you know why I will never have a blow up mat, I like sleep way to much.
Hey Si, yeah it’s a design I’ve always loved from being a kid playing soldiers. With it now sealed I can take it out in all weathers too. There’s no way my back would let me just sleep on the floor like you pal, through Fridays escapade it’s been killing me all week 😂. Thanks Si for watching dude 👍
Just a FYI, your friend cutting the log wasted a lot of energy and put himself in danger with the bouncing log. He should have put something on the tip to make for a solid cut. Seam sealer looks great, but I wonder how long it last before you would have to reapply it if at all. Can you keep us updated on the seam sealer. Thanks.
Yet another top video Ant, am well pleased as an original F1 owner that you didn't call yours an F1 as everywhere else. Is the "Left Over Curry" optional or compulsory on your trips?. Take care, keep the vids coming.
Nice one Ant, great minds think a like small world it is. Good luck with the seam product trust it will go well. Nice professional edit again. Brilliant. All the awesome best to you. Harry
Hi Harry, yeah bloody nuts that wasn’t it haha. Thanks mate, I’m hoping it’s gonna be dry now lol. Thanks for your kind words re:editing mate. Thanks as always for watching 👍
Hi Dave, yeah I was gutted, was looking forward to the kip mate. Yeah a really good camp it was with some top food. Thanks mate for watching, I need to catch up on yours this weekend buddy 👍
Great vid going have to grab my self one and I’ve got a few ideas on mods for it. Scoff looks decent aswel. Digging the old dpm smock and TRF spr all the way brother.
Hi there Jay, thanks buddy. Yeah they are a very good tent, cheap too. Yes, the food was ace mate. Yeah I love that jacket especially when your grafting about in the woods, it looks after you, way too many pockets 😂. Thanks buddy for watching 👍, Ant.
Hello John, welcome to wild camping mate, you’ll love it. Yeah, make sure you seam seal it pal, best advice I can give you, other than that enjoy it cause it’s a great summer tent. Cheers pal, Ant 👍
Good stuff Ant & lads. I like the pans. Not sure My budget will stand for them this month, moving cost a lot and it's cleaned me out. I'll have a look at August in time for us birthday eh. Thanks for posting.
Hi there Mark, hope your well mate. Yeah cool mate, it’s a very good pan. I’ll do a bit more of a review in a couple of months maybe after the trip but it was handy on this camp. Hope all’s gone well with the move pal 👍
@@AntSurviveTheNight all good pal. Longridge is a nice place and the place is safe for me. Independent living but there's staff on hand if you need help and red cords in all rooms with staff on call. I hope I won't need them for a few years yet.
Hi Ben, it’s 3.4kg mate, you could definitely use walking poles with it for sure. If I was to head to the mountains I would do that mate. Hope you enjoyed the vid, thanks for watching buddy 👍
@@AntSurviveTheNight it does actually make a decent pack tent, I took mine (and my two oldest children) on a 16km round trip to a mountain lake this year where 80% of the hike is a serious grade. We used one of our ponchos to build a porch for gear and despite cooler weather, winds and some rain we had an awesome trip and slept dry.
I love my french f2 tent, great for the summer, plenty of room! The only thing is that I find the zip quality isn’t very good. Nice video brother. Best wishes 👍🏽👍🏽😎
Hello there Mad Dog, yeah your right, I’ve caught the mesh zip on the mesh and was afraid it had nipped it so yeah I get you mate. Thanks man for taking the time to watch. Cheers, Ant 👍
