Brilliant video and adventure, on my F1 I use an inverted "V" paracord guylines front and rear, pegged out wide and very tight to keep the ridgeline straight, so there is no "sagging" when the side middle guylines are pegged. Again, thank you pal.
Fab video Ant, cheers Pal. I`m glad you took the French Army F2 as I`m thinking of getting one, I`m not happy with the Dutch Army I received as it`s full of old dried mildew on the inside. I might end up binning it. 😀😀
Hi Martin, that's a shame pal. You can sort that out mate. Give it a good jet wash then treat it mate, that will sort it out. Yeah the French Army F2 is ace, once seam sealed it will do you proud pal. Thank you for watching
I love those tents
Hi Rick, yeah they are a top tent aren't they

Hi Scott, yeah a beautiful part of the world we live in isn't it, lots to do and places to pitch. Thank you buddy!
@@AntSurviveTheNight were very lucky best of both worlds. Got the city life and the country side. Literally just planning my pitch now for tonight. Where you and Chris pitched is a stunning area as well.
Oh for sure Scott, we have everything and live close by to it if we don't 😆
@@AntSurviveTheNight that's the one mate. Just got all pitched up watching the evening roll in.
Good stuff matey!!
Not all budget stuff is terrible, though sometimes you do have to work within limits, those limits don't have to be warm sunny days.
Great spot for a camp mate. See you soon :)
Hey Si, no mate like I say most of my gear is budget and I love it. Some of the gear is tough as old boots. Yeah you'd love the Moorland up here pal. Hopefully one day you'll call off up here and have a camp with us
@@AntSurviveTheNight Likewise down here for you and Charlie :)
Thank you Si, I'll take you up on that pal! Cya Saturday, can't wait to meet you finally mate

Lol!
So, are those moors all public land? You have free rein to wander all over them & camp wherever you want?
Hi Ted, yes mate we have a right to roam policy. There is still private land you can't wander on but Moorland like this anyone can. Wild camping is prohibited in all places but Scotland and Dartmoor. They could ask us to move on but chances are nobody official would be up there pal. Thank you for watching and for commenting pal
is it dry? i asked for it because i'm french and i had a F2 Too, but mine wasnt' dry at all.
Hi Blob, yes mate but I have seam sealed it. I do recommend doing that and you'll have no issues. Bug thanks for watch pal, Ant 👍
@@AntSurviveTheNight ok. what kind of product did you used?
Storm seal mate 👍
@@AntSurviveTheNight thanks
No worries Blob 👍
👍
Hi Chris, thanks pal 👍
Any issues with condensation in the f2 tent?
Hello mate, not a drop mate, I'm not surprised, I had every faith haha. Thanks mate. Cheers, Ant 👍
I saw the air mattress and got unreasonably annoyed. I use eather a cot or mat. Air mattresses tend to be unreliable.
I would use a mat all the time if my back was OK but I need that lift and a bit of comfort and I use cot beds too but only on local camps. Cheers for watching pal 👍
@@AntSurviveTheNight I can understand that, Got a bad knee myself. I just have very bad luck with Air mattresses, just about every time I use one it deflates.
@pinaerpowac4130 I've had 3 pop on me so yeah they can be awkward for sure mate
I always like to comment on your videos Ant as they always give me great enjoyment seeing what you and the rest of the outdoors community get up to. Please don't consider me for the Pump I would have no use for it would much rather it went to a camper who needs it. Another excellent video giving a feel for a camp in an out of the way place. Great stuff 😁👍
Hello Malcolm mate, very kind of you that, thank you! It's a real pleasure to know that people enjoy my content as much as I love going out making it. Cheers for watching again pal.
