Nice video ! We're happy with our French F-2. All that's needed is a good seam sealing when the weather in the deep south of the USA is more reasonable. Right now (Mid June) we're having temps in the upper 90°s, with 100° heat indices...
Good stuff Ant - a great selection of tents there and I like them all. The design of the Backwoods Bungalow is a classic and gives great space and 'liveability'. Top drone skills too - ATB mate !
Hi Chris, thanks buddy! Yeah I'm looking forward to spending time in it when we head up to Scotland in May mate. Yeah, love flying the drone, gives that extra camera angle doesn't it. Thanks for having a watch pal 👍
Nice one Ant.... nice selection of tents you have collected bud. I have always like the Dutch army gear including the bivi bags. I bet it was a nightmare packing everything away.... so thanks for running through them all mate. Have a great day Ant, all the best, Mark :)
Hello Mark mate, thanks pal. Yeah I want a couple more then I'm done haha. Yes, the hooped bivi looks ace but expensive. I have seen other brands I may get instead though now but still very cool. Haha yeah, to be honest it was harder putting them all up mate lol. Big thanks for watching Mark 👍
Hi Wudwas, thanks mate. Yeah the Lavvu is bomb proof isn't it mate yeah a tarp saves packing a wet canvas tent at the end of a camp doesn't it. Thanks for watching pal, cheers, Ant 👍
Nice selection of tents there Ant, well done for setting them all up, proper day of it lol. Great drone footage too, always hard flying the drone in the woods, nice one 👍
Hi Phil, thanks matey! Yeah I have a fair few now, more to add haha. It was a good day, a little cold but great fun. Was nice to get the fire lit. Yeah I love the drone, you don't need that much footage just a hint. Thanks man 🙏
Man...that was some spectacular drone flying..well done mate..far braver than me! 👍👍 - Quality as ever...just a pity there wasn't any sausage...🤪🤪 - Cheers mate - T🙂
Lol can't beat a good sausage can you Tony. I barely had time to cook up some beans man. Thanks pal, I enjoy the drone, I just can't get too complacent. Cheers as always for watching
How much does the f2 tent body weigh please? I know they give you some really heavy steel pegs with it but I was thinking of changing them out and using hiking poles to save weight but I'd like to know how heavy/light the tent body alone is? Also, has the seam sealing held up?
Hi Gaz, I've not weighed just the tent body itself mate but at 3.4kg for pegs and legs included I would say much alone. A little more than a tarp I'd say buddy. Yes, I'm hoping it has lasted but won't know for sure till its back out in the spring, fingers crossed. Thanks pal, Ant.
Nice one Ant, you put the graft in there fella, can't knock your commitment to film making and you've got the hang of that drone for sure. Always reminds me of Loch Ness when it took off the rafted canoes like an exoset missile 😀😀 Nice one Ants, was great to catch up as always 👍 Rick n Billy
Hi Rick, haha yeah it took some time setting them up, I thought it would take longer packing away but it didn't which was a surprise haha. Thanks mate, I love the different aspects a drone can bring to a film. Oh boy yeah that wi haunt me for ever that mate 😆 haha exoset missile hahaha. Thanks pal for watching 👍
nice one mate shared to my group...Military Mart have their own copy the Hobson Vintage exact copy of the Polish Lavvu but better just a slightly lighter colour and comes in a size 3
Hello John hope you have been keeping well mate? Thank you for that. Oh I wondered what that was when I was getting the links for my description. I'll have to look at what it looks like on UA-cam, is it made from canvas?
Hi Gary, thanks pal. Yeah all quite cheap to buy so won't break the bank. Thanks mate, I love the drone, good different angle to film with. Thanks again matey
Cracking video Ant. I’d sway towards the Dutch Army tent as I like a bit of camouflage (shame about the leaks though) and the onetigris tiger den is a portable house; loads of room to cook, shelter and bushcraft. Nice one buddy 👍
Hi Joe, thanks mate, glad you liked it. Yeah good choice, you can always look in to ways of sorted the leaks out can't you. Yeah the Tigers Den is ridiculous haha a great tent to spend rainy days in pal. Thanks for watching 👍
Nice selection of tents ant. I picked up three size two lavvu’s . Was going to chop up a couple to mod one but couldn’t do it. I do like the lookof the dutch and french tents 👍🏻 hope you and your family are doing well
Hi Geoff, thanks pal. Oh boy yeah don't cut them up, you can get near enough the same colour canvas online rather than cutting them up pal. Keep them, they will be worth a lot in a few years. Yeah both the Dutch and French are ace mate, great robust tents. Thanks mate, we are all good here pal. Hope you and yours are all good too. Thank you for watch
@@AntSurviveTheNight all good here bud 👍🏻 i did buy a roll of material but i like the look of what norther outdoors does so I will hope to get him to mod one for me 👍🏻
Ok, that's a hell of a collection of tents, I like the look of the French Army one, it reminds me of one I had back in the '70's/80's...except that was canvas with wooden poles, lol. Not sure any of them would stick the beating I give my tents, but I could see myself in the Backwoods Bungalow on a beach somewhere. Loved the out of focus half tree, shot...minus bicycle parking space, glad I wasn't eating 🤣😂
Hi Si, yeah I bet that was the French Army F1, made from canvas. Its one I want that. I'll try and pick one up this year if I can. Yes, I could see you in the bungalow mate, see what you think of it in May when we are up there pal 👍
The more i see the Dutch Army Tent I think that One Tigris could do it better. One Tigris is good kit I prefer the backwoods bungalow - but I have a kayak/canoe to save for. The French reminds me of scouts and cadets. All good for next jaunt in Scotland.
Great video Ant. Looked like a scene from the Vietnam war with all those tents set up in the woods (clocked the Full Metal Jacket reference too!). What I want to know is if you could only have one of those tents, which would it be and why👍
Thanks Benny mate. Haha yeah it did dint it. Lol I was wondering if anyone would get the reference haha nice one. I'll put a little segment in the next video with your question as to which I would pick 😉 thanks for watching.
Hello John, yes mate, I purchased mine from Military Mart. There's a link in the description. Have a browse on there search items. Thanks for watch pal 👍
Great vid Ant. I do think the dutch is the nicest tent you have, however, i agree with you by having that 'soft spot' for the french, as that was my first tent i slept in, and more after that. Also, you tested the tigris bungelow with me and thats on one of your vids, if people want to see that. Why spend the earth for nice tents like these.
Hi Leon, thanks buddy! Yeah it's a nice looking tent and quite big inside too. Ahh yeah you did didn't you, with Ant. Yeah it's been used a lot that one. Yeah the bungalow is the small one mate the black one are you thinking of the Tigers Den by chance? Your right, no need to spend a fortune. People like myself don't have loads of cash so it's nice to still get out with a cheaper option that does exactly the same as a more expensive one. Cheers as always pal
Well now I feel cheated! I own the French tent and love it but mine hasn't got the bug netting! It was new when it arrived so not sure what the story is there. I love that tent and my Polish Lavvu (unmodified but it will soon get a small stove jack).
Hello mate, yeah there are different versions of the same tent pal, I was looking at that one before I found this. Yeah a stove jack will be cool on the lavvu. Thanks pal for watching 👍
Hi there Malcolm hope your well pal. Yeah hopefully it will help people make a decision on which to choose. Thanks for watching mate and glad your enjoying our content pal

I love my lavvu all year round warm in the winter and cool in summer
Hey buddy, yeah it's a fantastic all round tent isn't it mate
Great selection of tents. I do love my Lavvu's and can't beat a tarp. But nice to have options.
Hi Wudwas, thanks mate. Yeah the Lavvu is bomb proof isn't it mate yeah a tarp saves packing a wet canvas tent at the end of a camp doesn't it. Thanks for watching pal, cheers, Ant 👍
Some nice bit's of kit there Ant can't believe how big my patch is on your lavvu 🤣🤣 atvb Jimmy 😎😎👍👍

Some good choices. I just bought the pomoly Hussar. ATB. Grays
Oh nice mate, how do you find it?
