This is the best tutorial I have seen on the subject. The only problem I've had is when I use chord mode, it doesn't show full chords in the piano roll, even though it's playing them.
I recently had an issue on my S88 when I hit Undo it switches the keyboard to MIDI mode and blacks out Plugin with no Way to get back. Ever seen this issue before and know how to fix it?
DDS825 the biggest issue is it changes the actual S88 display so Plugin and Browser become deactivate and you are left with a standard MIDI Keyboard. Not sure if Logic 10.5 is causing it or if it is a Komplete issue. Confirmed same issue happened even with my M32.
@@traviscraven4934 Yes, I believe it is because of the update. I'm having the same issue, What I do is pull the Komplete Kontrol vst up and click the keyboard icon in the top right corner and it turns it right back to normal. It is an inconvenience.
@@DDS825 Thank for letting me know! I feel so much better knowing I wasn't the only one. I was going crazy. I am currently playing around with the control assignments. What I have noticed is the functions that work are in the Transport section why the ones that switch it over are in the Control section. I also notice the Transport options have "Global" settings while the Control options have "Various Windows" setting. The best is I don't see Undo as a Global Option. Still searching if it is there or I can set it. Will let you know. Hopefully it is just an easy Apple/NI update.
Hey How did you get Komplete Kontrol to find other plugins that aren't NKS ready Ie. Omnisphere, keyscape. When I try to open them they do not show up in the drop down window
The problem I see is that it seems impossible to route midi out from KK to another track. What you see in the piano roll is not the actual midi notes that are playing. Which is crap.

Open up Komplete Kontrol stand-alone and run a scan on your vsts

I believe that’s only when you are in chord and scale mode. I get that.
Use scalar instead …way more flexible
