    I don’t know Josh. These tutorials are so incredible, it seems like you should be wearing a white lab coat and some thick glasses!
    I’m very impressed with your knowledge and the capabilities of Logic.
    Thanks for all you do for us users,
    Gianni❤

      Yep. One of the best. There's gotta be 1000 people doing these. Most of them have no teaching skills, which obviously is the most important thing. They just regurgitate information without an inkling as to how to make that information stick in someone's brain who doesn't understand it at the onset. This guy gets it…

    Hi Josh.... Ripchord is very popular with non-musicians, DJs, Hip Hop, because the community has chord sets of famous songs (1,000s of them for free). It's very similar to Chord Trigger, but it allows you to import midi to create those chord sets - which is much faster than 'Learn' mode and playing or selecting notes. Can you think of any way to create chord sets in Logic Chord Trigger from midi? I know, it seems like a crazy idea.

    Completely new to me. So cool! Never used this as I even didn‘t know about its existence. Moreover I can learn about chords that l‘m not very familiar with. A really good module that really brings me a step further in Logic thanks to a Logic EXPERT!

    Thank you so much for your tutorial!
    Is it possible automatic chord inversions? Inversion gives a smooth jump into the chords

    thanks for all your tutorials. Wish Logic could have something more likely as Komplete Kontrol Scales and Chord modes. I think it's easier to use it. You select the key and then you a good to go with notes and chords plus you can play only with white keys that scale...or only keys that are in scale will be giving sound - other keys will be turned off which is super nice

    Wonderful. I want exactly the opposite way. I'm playing chords and I only want to have the bass note of the chord in the output. Is something like that possible?

    I am just learning about this. One of the things I want to know is which chords those are being played by the preset? I dont know piano very well, so I am not sure how to use it, as I do not know which chords are being played.

    Been wanting a refresher with this because I use it all the time with the presets, but I would love to get better with it

    Instead of having it being recorded as single notes..is there a way for it to be inputed as actual chords instead of just the root notes? ( i hope that makes sense)

    • @MusicTechHelpGuy
      @MusicTechHelpGuy  Рік тому

      Use the Record MIDI FX to Track option I show at 14:47. Then the full chords will be recorded instead of individual notes. And you can just bypass the chord trigger after that.

    Is this useful to play Strings build in with note trigger

  • @michaelwalsh4118

    Any tips on how to use this to extend a note with a drum pad like Alesis sample pad or Roland SPD

    • @MusicTechHelpGuy
      @MusicTechHelpGuy  Рік тому

      Create a new software instrument track. Then record enable it. Play the notes on your drum pads and see what MIDI notes the pads actually represent. They are often in really low octaves. Just set up the trigger notes as the same pitches on your pads, and build out whatever chord you want. The trigger note and the root of the chord do not have to match. So you could play a C#-1 pad, but trigger an A minor 7 chord for example.

    Don't go to setting in the 1st minute. First, you need to show us what it CAN DO. Does it help to record chord in midi region? Show us first.

      Create a software instrument track. Then press I to show the inspector on the left. In the inspector window you’ll see an option on the track that says “MIDI FX” on the track. You can load it up there.
