Are you in drive or second gear ?!
2nd gear mostly
trynna seen more auto welded e46 vids thinking of welding mine just to get seat time
Manual swapped already 😂 auto is good but I don’t like it shifting on me, could have done a dinan trans tune instead of manual swap in theory
Is this fwd with welded diff on rear? And is this just v6 engine or added?
@@osmarsilvatlaczani7136 rwd with welded rear, straight 6 engine 2.5L
@@osmarsilvatlaczani7136 get off them pills dude.
@@osmarsilvatlaczani7136 I really hope you're not thinking of welding your diff, sounds like you don't know wtf you're talking about😂😂😂
Good stuff
Nice one, are you able to use the handbrake?
i did for making handbrake u turns but not to initiate or maintain a drift
How will an auto trans hold up with a welded diff?
depends on the transmission really, but generally speaking it will be fine
NAHHHHH HE WENT DUMB FRRFRFR🎉🎉🎉🎉
wears out the auto trans bad, i welded my diff on my z as a joke to slide until i finished building my other diff and it wore out the trans fast
7at a little better though since i can hold it in 2nd and 3rd
How tf would it wear out the trans if you’re only touching the diff…..
you do realize the driveshaft connects the two together right...?@@charlieb1715
its constantly hopping and jumping at low speeds and puts more force on all suspension and drivetrain components@@charlieb1715
it is true, will be more stress on transmission and all bushings in rear end
Doesn’t really daily drive fine when it comes to reverse parking in a bay when it’s dry. Put a video up of that.Skip skip skip long black line lol
not as bad as you might think with stock bushings, nvh goes up a a good bit with poly everything
yeah the axles and every LOVE it!
its pretty bad in my marquis
No difference in welding the diff on an automatic or manual car
very different driving experience from open to welded, bigger difference from auto to manual
Same thing that happens when you weld the diff in a "manual"... either way it's junk now.
it takes about 1 hour to remove the differential, and its $150 for an used open differential, but its a drift car, do you have a car? 😂
I wouldn’t say junk , but make sure you have an extra diff ready.
