Baking powder is how many grandmother made fry bakes...always came out fluffy. Again, many people make fry bakes slightly different...for me...as long as it taste good.lol

My bakes come out the exact same way, now my codfish similar but with a few variables. That’s just the culture of Trinidad we know how to flip ingredients and food still look and taste good.✨✨😎

Great recipe, I use baking powder myself, not yeast. You should put the date on the cover or container of the baking power when you first open it. It's a good guide as to how long you've had it.

Saltfish, Chopped Seasoning pepper, Sweet pepper, onion, chives, garlic, turmeric powder, black pepper...In hot frying pan pour in oil and the ingredients except the salt fish. Stir and then pour in your salt fish until everything is mix together. That's another way to stew saltfish You can serve it with your bakes.
