Thank you for this video! I also prefer it two-handed rather than the solo book that spells out every step. I think the right kind of fantasy could work really well! It would have to still find a way for the scouting and control and such to work. Thinking out loud, I'm picturing a side that has a beast rider or two, similar to the mechs, where there is a rider with scout and bolster, and cards for the beast (dragon or gryphon or whatever) to do its special attacks. The beasts don't get terrain defense, but can only be hit by range attacks in the same space or adjacent. The other side may have undead arisen whose cards only have charge (move 1 and attack) but have necromancers who can move and bolster them, or even retrieve the arisen cards from the casualty pile.
I chuckled when you started to mimic mecha movement and talking about them shooting, walking slowly "and doing the good stuff". I like the system (and sci-fi) a lot and have them all (except Stalingrad), I'll be getting this. Never thought about a fantasy version but yeah, that could be intresting as well.
Thank you so much for the review, Marco!

if they published the fantasy version, I'd be making the noises of exploding fireballs and crawling gelatinous cubes. SO.
