Thanks Matt, nice to see some non-league grounds, I live in Australia, so good to see these grounds and locations and the atmosphere inside the grounds, well done, Declan O'Doherty😊
Complaint quite rightly dismissed! Nothing wrong with your face and the whole point of the channel is to get a flavour of the grounds AND football at that level. Keep it up Matt it’s what I watch them for and why I subscribe!
@ sorry Barney doesn’t like football but my other (home) account does so you do get 2 views and 2 subscribes from this part of Buckinghamshire. Keep up the good work with non League.
Good video, Matt. I enjoy watching your ground adventures. I'm a Reading FC season ticket holder, and when I'm not watching the Royals, I love taking in new grounds. I'm on 74 in the football league, but this season and last, I've got the bug for ticking off non league grounds.
Great video again Matt. As you say its a groundhopper channel, and you give us excellent info and filmage from the stadiums you visit. Who cares who scores in these leagues, except when maybe an ex Gills scores lol. Well Farnborough is certainly an excellent stadium for that league, and loved the Rainham End in short behind one of the goals. lol. As you say that ground wouldnt look out of place in L2. Barrow and Newport eat your hearts out. Reckon the nice walk did you good mate. least it didnt rain, for a change
Good blog again. Would they complain if it was Gary Lineiker face instead and who cares. You always make it interesting about the ground and club. Looking at your subscription you seem to be doing some things right. UTG from down under.
Can’t believe anyone would complain about ur face Matt….many a rugby changing room has Matt lookalikes 😉 Really impressed with that ground …deserving of a higher standard of football . Enjoyed the video as usual …thanks !
I remember going there last year Matt with my son to Yeovil away game. Its a decent ground. As for the complaint im glad you've ignored it mate! Keep the good work up enjoyed the vid as always..😊
That looks like a cracking little ground 👍👍 I noticed the club shop & it made me wonder do you ever buy anything from your ground hop to remind you of your visit....apart from a coke & a Mars 😆😆 I always buy a matchday programme if possible 👍👍
Great video as always, I enjoy the look round the grounds at the facilities etc etc. Never that fussed about the actual game itself to be honest, as a fellow groundhopper but in Norfolk/Suffolk it's always the venue I'm interested in. Keep up the good work.
I must admit Matt, I have seen your face before on your own videos, so a pattern does indeed seem to be emerging here 😀. I'm glad the Groundhopper complaints committee found in your favour. Another great video fella.
Nice to see you come to watch my team Farnborough today. Good video A group of us in the main stand do an attendance guess at each home game and mine today was 1080 👍🏻
Only time I've been there was many years ago to watch Dover. It was tipping down with rain and at last minute was decided the pitch was unplayable, so all I ever saw of the place was the bar!
Hi from Australia Matt - I notice as we reach the middle of November the games are now finishing in the dark. Why don't UK football matches start earlier as winter descends?
You mentioned the record defeat. This is in fact a big misnomer. The side put out by the manager that day was a team of supporters bar one regular player, who has since disappeared and one who was coming back from injury. This is an ongoing saga with the Hampshire FA and the ambiguity of when players are allowed to play. There is plenty on the Farnborough forum about this.
Matt, about that 14-0 game, it wasnt even Farnborough's first team, it was made up of supporters/Fringe players who needed minutes and the GK Coach in goal, Farnborough dont like Hampshire FA, really complicated stuff with them getting thrown out
Definitely rightly dismissed, everyone knows what they get with your content & obviously nobody else feels that way, always returning to watch every vid when uploaded & always enjoy, much more interesting taking in what grounds look like & hearing your honest opinion of them, the action not really needed, all about the atmosphere at these various grounds, the true supporters that attend them & your coke & mars (have missed that for a few matches now)
Be interested to see Farnborough get a big FA Cup tie at home (and not switch it to Highbury...!) and see what the capacity is. Woking's isn't even 6,500 and is much bigger.
@@mattthegroundhopper9242 Went up to god at half time at the Emirates blimey need a head for heights as for Tunbridge well cost me a bus ticket of £8 101 to Maidstone no.7 to Tunbridge Wells and back again nice quirky ground
First visit in 1987 vs Barking FC in 1987 all there was was that original stand. Used to work right next door to that ground once. Honestly complaints about the Vlog. Come on, it's your channel. Tadley Cavella worth a visit, Combined Counties League formerly Wessex League. Worth a visit as best levels are 4-6. You knows it. Used to do that walk everyday on call ✌️.
Weren't Farnborough bank rolled a few years ago, hence them having big ambitions? Im sure i remember them not being liked because of it (jealousy probably) and it all went tits up? Happy to be corrected as I'm going from my sketchy memory! Oh and you got to see a goal😂
Thanks Elmo, yes they were and I think that person paid for the stand behind the goal as well, managed to see the goal at the end I was standing at as well 👍🏻⚽️
Thanks Matt, nice to see some non-league grounds, I live in Australia, so good to see these grounds and locations and the atmosphere inside the grounds, well done, Declan O'Doherty😊
Thanks Declan, plenty more non league grounds will be on there way in the coming weeks 😀⚽️🇦🇺

Nice one, thanks Fred, get your mate Barney to subscribe as well 😀👍🏻⚽️

74, you are a true groundhooper 👍🏻 non league grounds are a different vibe but enjoyable for their own reasons 👍🏻⚽️
BTW thanks for your support 👍🏻⚽️
@@mattthegroundhopper9242 No worries. Keep up the good work, Matt.

Thanks Berlin Dave, this ground hopping is keeping me semi fit, bloody knackered last night 😴💤

Nice one, thanks Aussie Brian, appreciate your comments, as always 👍🏻⚽️🇦🇺

Thanks Bruce, it seems you had a lot of fun in the NLS last season, all those different grounds you visited 👍🏻⚽️⚪️🟢
That looks like a cracking little ground 👍👍
I noticed the club shop & it made me wonder do you ever buy anything from your ground hop to remind you of your visit....apart from a coke & a Mars 😆😆
I always buy a matchday programme if possible 👍👍
I don’t normally buy souvenirs when I am at the grounds because I am a bit of a minimalist, don’t really like too much clutter 👍🏻⚽️
Another great vid Matt. Definitely intrigued to visit Farnborough at some point 👍
Thanks Tom, well worth a visit, you will be pleasantly surprised 👍🏻⚽️
@ Now more highlights and less of your face please 😉
Haha, no chance 👍🏻⚽️

Yes thank you, you’re right it is all about the ground hopping experience, on to the next one 👍🏻⚽️
Thats a great looking ground. One on my list before end of season. Went to Folkstone Invicta today. Enjoyable afternoon.
I think Cheriton Road is a little hidden gem 👍🏻⚽️
Really enjoy the videos Matt keep up the good work bud.
Kelvin
Thanks Kelvin, really appreciate the comment and the support 👍🏻⚽️

A group of us in the main stand do an attendance guess at each home game and mine today was 1080 👍🏻
Thanks Mark, well you faired a lot better than my awful prediction, thanks for your comments ⚽️👍🏻
Only time I've been there was many years ago to watch Dover. It was tipping down with rain and at last minute was decided the pitch was unplayable, so all I ever saw of the place was the bar!
That would have been very annoying, hate postponed games ⚽️👍🏻
Really enjoy your videos Matt you cannot beat non league football
Thanks Mike, yes it is all good fun 👍🏻⚽️
Went to Chatham yesterday. Have to admit. Lovely stadium. Up there with Dartford as the best Non-League ground I've been too.
They are looking to develop the ground in the future, could get a decent stand along the length of the pitch opposite the main stand 👍🏻⚽️
Great stuff Matt, keep it up! New feature - best drum/ noise?
The drum is definitely a more popular feature and is gaining in popularity 🥁👍🏻⚽️
Hi from Australia Matt - I notice as we reach the middle of November the games are now finishing in the dark. Why don't UK football matches start earlier as winter descends?
Thanks David, 3pm has always been the traditional kick off time, can’t see it changing anytime soon 👍🏻⚽️

This is an ongoing saga with the Hampshire FA and the ambiguity of when players are allowed to play. There is plenty on the Farnborough forum about this.
Seems unfair it has been recorded as an official record defeat 👍🏻⚽️
Matt, about that 14-0 game, it wasnt even Farnborough's first team, it was made up of supporters/Fringe players who needed minutes and the GK Coach in goal, Farnborough dont like Hampshire FA, really complicated stuff with them getting thrown out
But annoyingly despite this on record it still shows as a 14 nil loss to a team 3 divisions below
I think it is unlucky to have been recorded as an official stat 👍🏻⚽️
Pass it every week day taking kids to Farnborough Sixth Form. Looks decent inside ,1000+ crowd is excellent.
I think I passed that sixth form when I walked to the station 👍🏻⚽️
When are you coming to Slough? 🙏
Thanks Nik, it is on my list 👍🏻⚽️
Great video as always Matt. Ignore the idiots who comment garbage like that.
Water off a ducks back to me, thanks for your comments buddy 👍🏻⚽️
Twerton Park actual capacity less than 4k these days for safety reasons. Good vlogz Farnborough v friendly club.
Thanks Alex, I hate it when they close parts of the grounds down for H&S, the ground always looks a bit sorry looking 👍🏻⚽️
I use to be a keeper to mate and your right your a ground hopper not a highlight channel like me so I’m glad the complaint was thrown out
Nice one, thanks Lee, fellow keeper 🧤👍🏻⚽️
It is a very big ground for that level.
It is a decent set up there 👍🏻⚽️
Matt, the Isle of Sheppey is the birth place of British Aviation mate.
Thanks Tony, but what about the sign outside the train station? 👍🏻⚽️

Emirates Stadium on Friday Night and yesterday down at Culverden Stadium

Thanks Raymond, I find it quite amusing, even people criticising me, doesn’t bother me, thanks for your support 👍🏻⚽️
No coke and mars ? Great video as ever, much prefer to watch your non league vlogs
Phil I may have to start a stewards enquiry on why they only sell cans at non league grounds?? 👍🏻⚽️
I'm with the other guy...why try to show things going on behind you as u pan the camera around with your face in it? V annoying
Haha, complaint again dismissed 👍🏻😀
