Oh my goodness girl I was laughing my head off. I could not believe I did that. Have you tried chocolate toffee mixed with chocolate peanut butter? I love that combo.
@miriambair no haven't tried that flavor. Still testing flavors. I buy the single packets, then don't try them for a while. Most end up as pancakes or custard. Of course Carmel Machiotto goes in my coffee, about 1 tablespoon.

What a great son!!! Love the scenery behind the soccer field with the mountains. I have two holes in my living room from the late 1980's from where we removed old 220 lines for an old air conditioner. Hubby doesn't think it's important to fix them.
Just put a piece of furniture over them. ;). I'm glad you like the mountains. They feel like home to me.

Why have I never thought to use a cookie/icecream scoop to make meatballs before? I am SO doing that next time.
Yes, using a cookie/ice cream scoop for making meatballs can save you time and ensure uniform sizes. Plus, it's a neat trick to make the process less messy. 🍪🍦🍝😄
I figure if it saves me time it is worth a try. Tell me if you try it, and what you think.
I do the same thing. I hate to mix meatloaf and meatballs.

When my daughter sent me that package she was in Hinton. She just recently moved to Rocky Mountian House. Do you know where that is? I really want to go to Jasper and visit, it is so beautiful and I'm a sucker for mountain views.
@@miriambair I am very familiar with the Rocky Mountain House area. Many good memories with extended family that lived on land near Strachen). You would love Jasper as well. I have actually been to Hinton too. At the time my husband was working up there and I got the urge to drive up from Calgary. You would absolutely love the Jasper area.

Ok - so you met my son Zakaiah and I a couple of weeks ago and have experienced his sense of Humor… so understand this in the context of his punniness and double entendres…. He “oops” punched his bedroom door and it cracked. So he put duct tape over it and wrote on it “we don’t do cracks here, only jokes”. It took me over 3 months to figure out he was hiding what he had done to his door 😂😂😂

@@miriambair It was very good and not without incident - but that just makes for better stories right? lol Hail storm, wind strong enough to throw rocks at the car, a 2 hr detour due to flash flooding, a wrong turn on a hiking trail that lead to some unexpected bouldering and consequently bum sliding back down lol... wish we had more time in Moab... Returned the rental vehicle covered in mud, dents, scratches and a chink in the windshield... got our money's worth out of that expensive insurance lmao. It was fantastic... minor scrapes and bruises on bodies but that it just proof we are alive and having fun lol

Here is some unsolicited advice, from a fellow lifter. Not to criticize but because I care.
If you’re going to get more serious about weightlifting, then it would be a good idea to get some flat shoes, especially for squats and deadlifts. Hokas are great, I love them, but not for weightlifting.
Hey thanks. I do know that I'm suppose to wear flat shoes and I have some. I just like the hokas so much. Can you tell me why people are suppose to wear the flat shoes?
purely for correct form and injury prevention. When I started lifting, I was wearing the wrong shoes and it would give me foot pain, then my trainer told me it’s better to wear flat shoes and I haven’t had pain since.
My feet hurt without support. But I'll take your word and give it a try. Thanks friend.
